I’ve tried many other dry shampoos and my go-to is Got2B Rockin’ It 4ever, so I got very excited when I saw they had a new one specifically for fine hair. And, well, I guess it’s an effective dry shampoo, but dear lord, at what cost?
This product did do a reasonable job of soaking up oil, so I’ll give it a point for that, but the texture it left behind is horrendous - think day after prom, brushing out that over-hairsprayed updo. It’s...not sticky, exactly, but there’s definitely something ON my hair. I don’t even want to touch it, it feels so terrible. It also made my hair very, very dull. With other products, there’s still some shine left to my hair, but not this one. Even after you manage to brush out the white residue, which took forever compared to other products, my hair just looks sad and dull. Plus, the frangrance unfortunately lives up to its “all day” claims, so you’re forced to walk around in a cloud of tropical sunscreen scent, which overwhelms you every time you turn your head.
I have very fine, very thin hair, so to see a product by a brand I like created just for my hair type? Yay. But I’ll stick to Got2b’s Rockin It 4ever dry shampoo instead. It may not be formulated specifically for my type of hair, but it works. The Fresh It Up dry shampoo might technically work, but it just has too many negatives for me to want to buy it again.

It’s hard to separate the polish from the topcoat for a review, but this overall product combo just does not work. I had small chips on day one, and by the end of day three (pictured) my nails were in horrific shape, despite the fact that I only “worked” with my hands for one of those three days.
I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review, and I’m glad I didn’t pay for it - having had the chance to use it, I would never buy this product.

First things first, I received this nail polish and top coat free in exchange for this unbiased review.
CND Vinylux Weekly Polish makes the following claims:
“7-day, chip-resistant wear (Really!)™
Fast-drying, 2-step application
Brilliant shine that lasts
Increased durability with natural light”
As you can see from the attached picture, taken at the end of day 3 (Really!)™, I’ve quickly debunked the 7-day, chip-resistant claim. By the end of day 1, I was already seeing wear (although no chipping) at the edges. By day 2, a couple of small chips had appeared. By the end of day 3, as you can see, my nails looked horrific. I also feel like the polish is markedly less shiny that it was on day 1.
I don’t feel like I’m particularly hard on my hands, especially since this polish was applied on a Thursday night, so they only saw one day of “work”. I couldn’t believe how badly everything chipped on day 3.
I will say that this formula was definitely fast drying, very easy to apply (great brush, nice consistency) and with full coverage in just two coats. However, given that the main claim was the long wearability, I’m giving this polish a hard pass.

I have medium brown hair, and while Got2B does spray on white, it leaves no residue in my hair once I brush it in. The scent is light and refreshing, but doesn’t linger and isn’t perfumy. Ultimately, this product just works, and this is why it’s my default dry shampoo purchase.

I have very fine, very thin hair that doesn't stand up well to being washed frequently. Dry shampoo has completely changed the look and feel of my hair - it finally has some volume and texture! I've tried several different dry shampoos and a lot of the less expensive ones miss the mark - except for Herbal Essences. It sprays well, I've had no issues with the nozzle getting clogged (a problem I've had with other brands), it smells great without being perfumy, and there's no white residue in my medium brown hair. I can't get over how well this brand works, price tag notwithstanding. The fact that it's one of the least expensive brands I've ever tried easily makes this my top pick.
Bottom line: It's cheap and it works. I really can't ask for anything more!

This is my go-to hand cream. Great scent, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly, plus it really does seem to strengthen my nails, which are very soft and tend to peel. Bonus: It's actually a reasonable price.

We bounce around a bit with sunscreen brands - usually whatever's on sale as long as the SPF is right. We're big fans of the spray sunscreens, especially for my daughter, who hates having lotions applied to her skin, but it runs out so fast, so we don't find it worth the money. This mousse seems to be the answer!
Pros:
Applies REALLY easily
Not sticky or greasy
Good sunscreen protection
Waterproof
Not as expensive as the sprays (per use)
Cons:
Pricier than regular lotions (per use)
For me, the value of not having to pin down my kid to lather her up with regular sunscreen is definitely worth the slightly higher price per use.

I never thought I'd have an opinion about a feminine hygiene product, but boy, do I.
The DivaCup has made my life so much easier. I used to soak through pads and tampons like crazy, ruining underwear and clothes all the time, but the only time I've ever had a leak with the DivaCup is when I was first learning to use it and didn't always get it positioned correctly. Because my period is extremely regular, I can actually put the DivaCup in the night before I expect my period and wake up without leaks or surprises. Try that with a tampon! (Actually, don't.)
It's incredibly comfortable, and so much less expensive than pads and tampons (over time). I've been using the same cup for more than two years, so that initial $35 spend has saved me about $200 so far, especially since that one cup has taken the place of, oh... 700 tampons and counting?
True, there's an "ick" factor to get over at first, but no longer worrying about leaks or smells (because there's no oxygen getting to the fluid to create a smell in the first place) far outweighs the initial "ick" for me.

The first thing you'll notice is the scent, which is a little minty and eucalyptus-y, and somehow both energizing and relaxing. I like to use this when I'm feeling a little congested or when my muscles are sore - the combination of ingredients is just really therapeutic. After a soak, you'll find your skin is nice and soft, and any minor aches and pains you might have had are much better, if not gone.
One little note: It does leave some grit in the tub, but a quick rinse is usually enough to wash it down the drain.
