Over the holidays I treated myself to the Bite Beauty Jam/Opal lipstick duo and am so in love with it! When I first heard that all of Bite's products were made with food grade ingredients I knew I had to try it and this was my first purchase! Jam looks particular dark but on my lips it's a nice magenta colour. I usually wear Opal on top to make it a little bit lighter. I didn't find the either colour drying at all and even after it fading, the colours together left a nice stain on my lips for the day after. Would definitely recommend! -

La Roche-Posay Micellar Water is the perfect cleanser for the girl who's super lazy when it comes to a skincare routine! Confession: I'm that girl! I had been using Olay's pre-moistened facial wipes for years before recently switching to Saje's Zen Cleanser (which isn't as easy to to use as the facial wipes!) but had been eyeing micellar water after hearing from one of my besties that it's perfect for those days when you just want to fall into bed but know that you should probably take your make-up off first! So when I saw ChickAdvisor's La Roche-Posay's Micellar Water campaign, I knew I wanted to try to be a part of it, since it combined micellar water with a brand I knew had quality skincare products.
That being said, La Roche-Posay Micellar Water is now the first kind of micellar water I've used! I have sensitive skin and have been recently dealing with a lot of random breakouts (which is extremely rare for me) so I was curious how my skin would react to La Roche-Posay Micellar Water for Reactive Skin. I anxiously awaited the package to arrive from ChickAdvisor and started using it daily since I received it! It has no scent (which is a plus in my book) and is super easy to use! I just moisten a cotton pad and then swipe my face with it and bam! I'm done!
I don't wear much makeup, just concealer, eye shadow and eyeliner, but my face does seem clean after using. I especially like how it doesn't irritate my eyes or cause any blurry vision if I get any traces of it in my eyes. I docked one star from the review since while it gets rid of most of my eyeliner (currently Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliner), there is usually some very minor remnants left over. I also found that my cheeks felt a little tight when smiling after using, though to the touch my skin didn't feel dry - in fact, my skin felt a little tacky after using. Not a big deal to me though since I just use it before going to bed. And the biggest plus is that my skin stopped breaking out once I started using this! However, the easy of use, and how it gets rid of most of my eye makeup (better than my Saje cleanser), plus how it doesn't causes any breakouts means that I will definitely continue using this product and will recommend it to my friends as well!

I got deluxe-sized samples of this shampoo and conditioner in my Luxebox awhile back but hadn't use it until recently when I went on vacation and didn't wanna lug around big shampoo/conditioner bottles. I wish I had tried this pair earlier!! I LOVE how it made my hair feel! My hair has never felt this soft before! I made my girlfriends who were travelling with me touch my hair as well to show them what I meant by soft and they were amazed as well! And even though the products made my hair super soft, it still allowed my hair to be styled.....I had my hair teased one night and curled another and both nights the hairstyles lasted the entire night and into the morning! I just looked at the price-tag for the set and my wallet is definitely going to be in pain but I think that these two products are definitely worth the price!! -

I have been using another protectant spray for the last little while but have not really liked the results, so I was very happy to give Pantene's Aqua Light Conditioning Shake a try as it can be used a thermal protectant. Love the results! It doesn't weigh down my hair or make it look greasy! The next day I don't have little flakes in my hair from it either! -

I don't use this line all the time though as I sometimes feel that the conditioner is not moisturizing enough for my coarse, dry, colour-treated hair to be used on a daily basis but is good to use when I want to get rid of all the product build-up in my hair. -
Pantene Pro-V Aqua Light Shampoo
I really like how this shampoo is silicone-free and is able to get rid of all the product buildup that accumulates in my hair as I had been searching for a clarifying shampoo and this one is very affordable! It also smells great!

I was a bit hesitant in trying this flavour even though I enjoy banana-flavoured things, I adore banana-flavoured popsicles and liked the banana-flavoured medicine that I had to take once as a child. For some reason though, Banana Cream Pie just seemed kind of odd for an ice cream flavour. I am glad that I got over my aversion to the idea as this flavour tasted really good! It was a nice smooth texture and I also liked how there was a ribbon of the pie crust running throughout the ice cream, it added a nice pop of flavour. The banana flavour itself was nice and refreshing, though I wish the flavour was a bit stronger, it was a bit too mild in intensity to me. Definitely a yummy and unique flavour and I will buy again for sure! -

The Chocolate Cheesecake was my least favourite flavour of the three Breyer's flavours that I tried, below Chocolate Velvet and Banana Cream Pie. I felt that this ice cream did not really taste like you were eating a chocolate cheesecake ice cream. It smelled like cheesecake, but the only time I could taste the cheesecake flavour was if I ate the white part separate from the chocolate. If I had both on my spoon the chocolate taste overwhelmed the cheesecake flavour. I also felt that while the chocolate taste was strong, it wasn't a very rich chocolate taste. The texture of the ice cream was very good and it wasn't too sweet or too bland...I just wish it tasted more like a chocolate cheesecake versus chocolate ice cream with a tiny hint of cheesecake. My sister who also tried this flavour agreed with me as well, that it didn't really taste like cheesecake and she also felt that Ben and Jerry's cheesecake flavour ice cream was better, though I can't say as I haven't tried that flavour. -

I was quite surprised and impressed with the kit that I received for Breyers, I was not expecting such a well put together package with bowls and spoons! But yes, out of the three flavours I think I like the Dark Chocolate Velvet the best. I am usually not a fan of chocolate ice cream that comes in these big tubs because I find that most of the time, these ice creams never really taste like chocolate. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the first bite of this ice cream, it was actually rich and chocolately! It was comparable in chocolate taste to the more expensive brands such as Ben and Jerry's and Baskin Robbins. And while it it does have a rich chocolate taste, it's not that bitter in taste like when you eat a piece of dark chocolate. Will definitely recommend this flavour to my friends! -

L'Oreal Express Daily Facials are pre-moistened cloths used to take off makeup. I love the fact that they don't require water which means that I can use them whenever. Takes makeup off pretty well, though I do have to use a few strokes in order to get rid of mascara and eyeliner. Cloths are soft and are a good size to use on the face, and the cleanser doesn't make my skin feel tight. The clothes are a bit expensive but Shoppers sometimes puts them on sale for cheaper than regular price at Walmart. -
