It might be a bit early, but I'm definitely the person that wants to test things before the weather turns too bad, so getting the Christmas lights out and tested is essential before the snow flies. (this doesn't mean turning them on every day! I just want to be sure the lights are all in one piece and we don't need any replacements!). At 23' long, with 70 lights, the Noma Evertough lights will look really nice on the small shrub on the side of my driveway. They have a warm glow that softens the area and will keep the front area lit through the long nights. For me, considering they don't have clips, are more for wrapping and other decor, not really for evestroughs. Getting newer, more efficient strings means you can string more lights together, and this type of string can take 30 strands on a single line, which is really nice if you have a lot of frontage or a larger tree. -

I wanted to like this, I really did. I love cherries and thought this would a be a refreshing beverage. At 10 calories a bottle, it would have been a nice treat. But there were two big issues: Finding it, and the actual product.
To find a bottle was a challenge. I checked all of my regular grocery stores and finally ended up getting a bottle in a random drugstore that I don't usually go in (but I was thirsty and had actually wandered in for a bottle of water). It took quite a while to find this product.
And then I tried it.
With erythritol, a plant based sugar alcohol which is now commonly used as a low calorie sweetener, being the second ingredient, this drink coated my tongue with a cloying sweetness that just wouldn't let go. It overtook any of the tart-sweet cherry flavour that I was looking forward to. The cherry juice is actually the fourth item in the ingredients list, behind water (fair enough), erythritol, and citric acid. While erythritol is a tooth safe sugar, citric acid is not great for teeth. Erythritol is linked to many health issues when consumed in larger quantities, but is commonly used because it's 0 calorie, can be advertised as natural (it's produced by fermenting a sugar found in corn, and is naturally occurring in many fruits and vegetables in very small quantities), and doesn't effect blood sugar levels. Honestly, one bottle isn't going to hurt a person and I would have rated it higher if the erythritol was lower on the ingredient list, but I really didn't enjoy the overly sweet flavour. Unfortunately, I was already out and about when I went to try the product and didn't have time to pick up a replacement, so I ended up finishing it, since it was better than nothing. I didn't find it particularly refreshing, and mostly it just tasted like a cheap fruit drink.

I was given a can of @batistecanada Overnight Deep Cleanse Dry Shampoo to try for my unbiased review.
Now, does it work? Yes. Batiste is one of the biggest dry shampoo brands for a reason! But here's the thing: does it work better than their other dry shampoos? Questionable. I've been using dry shampoo at night rather than the morning for a long while, since they all do their thing well overnight taking in excess oils. Does this do better than the original one I buy normally? I don't see a big difference. It's all in the timing. This will help remind you to do the dry shampoo at night. That's about it.
As for the other parts of it:
It is a dry aerosol spray, similar to the rest of Batiste's original dry shampoos.
It does have a scent, but it's not overly strong.
It's about the same price as a regular Batiste Dry Shampoo in store.
Would I buy it again? Yes. Like most of their dry spray shampoos, it does its job well.

I was provided this product for free in return for my honest review. Receiving the product free does not effect the review.
I have used Neutrogena in the past, and looked forward to trying this new product, and it didn't let me down. The TL/DR; the wipes are lovely and thorough. They moisturize without leaving a gross film, and they don't have a strong scent.
The packaging: Standard self sealing face wipe packaging for 25 wipes. The package seals well, but I still keep them stored face down to help gravity keep the seal shut so the cleanser doesn't evaporate, which makes sense, since they're alcohol free.
The Wipe: Soft and surprisingly thick, they hold up well in the hand. They don't have much of a scent, which is important to me, as there are times when my eyes get sensitive to perfumes. There were no issues with this. The wipes have been fully saturated and there hasn't been a lot of evaporation while I've used these.
The Clean: They do the job! There's no fighting to remove makeup, including waterproof eyeliner/mascara. A couple of wipes and it's on the cloth, not the face. The cloth is soft on the skin, but firm enough that there's a good scrub going on.
After: Once the cleansing is done, the skin feels soft and moisturized, which is what this product says it will do, so that's a win! The skin isn't tight, or sticky or anything, just fresh and good to go.
Overall: Definitely pleased with the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Make-up Removing Cleansing Wipes. I've nevr had an issue with the brand in the past and this product has changed my view on it! I would definitely pick up another pack.

I recieved a full value coupon to purchase this item a few weeks ago, with the instuctions to purchase the ginger beer. I was super excited, because I love ginger beer, and I generally enjoy Canada Dry products, so a Premium Canada Dry Ginger Beer would be great! Well, everyine else must have thought so, too, because I had to HUNT for it in stores. Everywhere I went, I was met with empty shelves. I even checked the cities around me, and nothing. Finally, 200km from home, heading on a little staycation, I found it. Bought them, drove another 300km and finally got them in the fridge.
First impressions: Sleek 4 pack, glass bottles are very nice and premium looking. At 237mL per bottle, there is less than a standard can of soda in each. The tops of the bottles are not twist caps, so if you don't have a bottle opener on you, you better be ready to get creative.
Taste: clean, just the right amount of bubbles, and a good sharp ginger flavour, it was grwat on it's own, and as a cocktail (hello, moscow mule!).
Value: $5.99 for a 4 bottle set, it's definitely got a premium price for this product. It's right up there with the craft sodas. I'd only purchase it if it was on sale.
Final thoughts: Pricey, but lovely. I'd pick it up if it was on sale and in store, but for the amount of effort to find it, I wouldn't go on the hunt for it.

This is not a want product, it's a need. Nobody wants to have to use it, but you're super glad you have a tube of it tucked in your bathroom drawer with the BandAids. This product doesn't have a strong smell, but it certainly does the job. It keeps your cut moisturized and prevents infection while you heal, which is faster and cleaner than if the wound was left open and at risk. Give your cuts a bit of love with this product when you first get it for long run wins.
I recieved this product free for my honest review. Views are my own and are not effected by recieving this product free.

Bandaids are a need in our house. All the time. It's not a want. They have to be available. These toughstrips are amazing and seal really well, but they will also tear the hide off of you if you don't remove it slowly! The seniors in my life won't go near them, since their skin is so fragile they would cause more damage coming off than the work they would do on LOL.
These are great, really, for kids and young, active adults. They stay put, cover the edges and won't move until you want them to. Use water or micelar water under the edges as you remove to make it easier on your skin.

I #GotItFree from ChickAdvisor to test and honestly review.
First impressions: Not fancy, and looks clean, simple and to the point. Scent is super light (more on this later), and just kind of soapy smelling. Seems to clean well, and doesn't leave a film or dry/tight feeling. So far so good. You use this product undiluted, so don't wet your hands before you try to scrub!
Ongoing testing: Scent is actually kind of divisive! This surprised me. Where I find it very light, others in the household find the scent quite strong and don't enjoy it! I liken it to cilantro: some love it, some say it ruins everything you put it in. It got moved to a private bathroom, rather than a main shared bathroom because of this. For those using it, our hands are soft, even with enhanced washing practices! Really nice to use!
If you like the smell, use it! It's a very nice soap, and leaves hands cleaned, moisturized and loved, which I think we all need a little of right now!

I received a this product from ChickAdvisor to give my unbiased opinion.
Most everyone has had Canada Dry Ginger Ale at some point. The product is a staple in our house, since we're not Cola drinkers. The familiar, sweet ginger flavor is easily recognizable. This new line turns it on it's head in a great way!
This drink, in a nutshell, tastes like carbonated, ginger flavoured lemonade, NOT like lemon-flavored ginger sale. If that makes sense. It's lemon forward with a nice sharp ginger chase. Super refreshing, and lovely, this drink is perfect on a hot day on it's own or as a mix for adult drinks! This has a very strong ginger flavor that has more bite to it than the original Ginger Ale, which surprised a few people that tried it. If you don't like authentic ginger flavor, I wouldn't recommend it. It's definitely not just a Ginger Ale with some lemon thrown in for flavoring, it it truly lemonade with ginger.
This drink will definitely be stocked up in our house before it departs for the season!

The packaging: Simple and straight forward. Tube in a box. Pretty standard for the product.
The instructions: Apply an even layer to clean skin avoiding the eye area and hairline. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. The mask will become more transparent as it dries. Once it's completely dried, gently peel off from the edges of the face. Easy enough!
Application: Easy enough. I smoothed it on using a silicone applicator I already had on hand. I put a nice, thick layer on, knowing that if you leave thin spots, you end up with a lot of work in the end peeling it off.
The Wait: The sharp berry scent made my eyes water, I won't lie. That wasn't pleasant. But other than the tightening drying sensation on the skin, which is normal, the skin portion was fine.
The Removal: Remember when I said that I put a thick layer on to make sure there were no thin spots, setting up for easy removal? Yeah, that didn't work. This is probably the hardest peel off mask I've ever removed. Not because it was super effective and felt like it was peeling my skin off, but because the product kept tearing, and I had to find edges repeatedly.
The Effect: Once I washed off the remnants and edges that I eventually gave up on, the skin looked refreshed and glowing.
The Verdict: This is a decent budget mask, and does what it says it's going to do, but for ease of removal, I would go with a different brand.
I received this product as part of Chick Advisor Product Review Club for my honest review.
