This is a neat little tool! Even though the application time takes a little longer, I do like the results of using this along with the new Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation. I prefer using a damp applicator for a lighter coverage, but at the end of the day, it works well wet or dry. The shape is easy to hold and the handle makes it easy to maneuver. It's a nice set!

Long story short, I like it! It has buildable coverage, with even, smooth results!
I used this product with the Dream Blender, also by Maybelline. I tried it with the blender both being dry and damp, and definitely prefer a damp applicator, as it provides a more transparent, but still thorough coverage. The finish was matte, it didn't leave my skin feeling dry and snake-like and it had a soft, natural feel all day.
My usual foundation is the Maybelline Fit Me! line, and I would say I actually like the finish of this makeup better. It does take longer for me to put it on, though. I use the technique of putting it on the back of my hand and dabbing it up with the applicator from there, and I find that while it's precise, it does take longer to apply.
I want to see how long one tube lasts, as it is smaller, but more concentrated, than my normal foundation.

A lot of the time if you ask the staff you can get a sample of items to try, but that's only if you can get ahold of a staff member to help. I don't like that they got rid of their red sale end caps, where I usually found some awesome stuff for a lot cheaper, so it was a chance to try new things. You really have to watch their prices, as they sometimes charge less per oz for a trial size than a regular size, so it's cheaper to buy two trials rather than one full price item. -

I recieved this product from ChickAdvisor to review for them, and honestly I didn't enjoy it. I do my nails every two weeks myself with home shellac, so I know how to apply nail polish. This product I found very lumpy and streaky. It set really quick, which caused lumps, but the actual drying took forever, so I still smudged a few tips a couple of times. It started peeling within days and I removed it to go back to my regular polish in no time. -
