Having dry, thick hair, I've been trying to look for a product that doesn't feel heavy, absorbs into my hair and doesn't leave it looking greasy. I've tried all sorts of brands and oils including argan, coconut and macadamia oil.I was excited when ChickAdvisor sent me Dove's Dry Oil for Hair through their product review club. This product is made with African macadamia oil which is obviously one of the more popular ingredients to nourish the hair. I quite liked this product as it smoothed my frizzy hair and doesn't leave it looking greasy or heavy. It didn't weight my hair down like some other products. But just make sure you don't apply a large amount of product into your hair! -

I've been using Dove body wash for years and they just came out with a hair care line which was different for me! ChickAdvisor sent me their line of hair care solution so I had to try it!
I have dry, thick hair so it can get frizzy easily. I also blow dry and iron my hair every day so my hair takes a lot of abuse. I've tried a lot of salon brand shampoos and conditioners as well as drugstore brands and none of them have given me the results I was looking for. When I first used this shampoo, it felt like it was really moisturizing. The scent was light and refreshing which I loved. Combined with the matching shampoo, my hair felt clean, light, smooth and shiny! I would recommend trying this out if you have dry thick hair!

I hate hairspray that gives my hair this heavy, crunch feel and thank goodness the Dove flexible hold hairspray doesn't do that! ChickAdvisor sent me this product to try out and I was nervous at first because there's only a handful of brands I would use. The hairspray is light and tames my hair for a large portion of the day. It's a pretty good product! -

I've tried many different types of dry shampoos and a lot of them have been disappointing. ChickAdvisor sent me this product to try out and I was pretty excited! But to be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of this shampoo. It feels heavy and kind of feels like something is coating my hair all day which I didn't really like. It does keep my hair from going oil though so I would say this isn't one of the worse nor is it one of the best products I've ever used. It does have a good price point though. -

I've been using this for 2 weeks now and it hasn't failed me yet! I've previously used urban decay's primer potion and felt this was just as good but a little bit cheaper. My eyeshadow and eyeliner stayed put all day which is hard to do since I have oily lids. The only down side is that the product actually separates in the tube if it's been sitting there for a long time. When I first opened this and squeezed some product out, only the clear oil came out. I had to give it a good shake (not that it'd help much). Otherwise, I have no complaints about this product! -

I've used the tea tree facial cleanser for three years now and it has never failed me! I have pretty good skin (combo) to begin with occasional zits here and there. This cleanser helps control the oily parts of my face and I feel pretty clean after using it. But note that this doesn't get rid of makeup completely (and it has never advertised itself as a makeup remover) so don't expect to use this to wash off your makeup at the end of the day. And some of you might be put off by the herb scent. For me, the price point is great for general face cleansing routine. I would recommend stocking up on them during the buy 2 get 1 free sales! -

This is by far the best lipstick I've ever worn! The colour payoff is amazing and true to colour. The finish was semi matte and didn't feel sticky/thick at all. It almost felt like I wasn't wearing any lipstick! The colour lasted for about 6 hours and 2 meals which, to me, is pretty awesome. It is a bit expensive for the amount of product you're getting but given the colour payoff and lasting power, this lipstick should last you a good amount of time. If you want to splurge on something, this product is worth splurging on! -
