I usually leave it on for longer than 3 minutes because I get out if the shower and apply it. I would go do dishes or eat something then go rince it off. It makes my hair feel very soft and looks healthy and shiny. It also has a great scent that linger in my hair even after 2 hours of being rinced out. -
