How annoying can dry sensitive Skin be?
If you have dry skin like me, you will know how careful you have to be when trying different skin care products - otherwise you end up with the dreaded burning sensation and then to top it off you begin to start looking like a Lobster 🦞
And unfortunately .... I passed it onto my incredible eldest daughter (11 going on 18 😍) who isn’t impressed with her dry skin either 😁
So being the fabulous cool 😎 Mum that I am, I put Curél to the test 🤓, as it may help my little mini me too
If you haven’t heard of Curél, they are a Japanese Skincare brand, and their products are Dermatologist Tested. They specialise in dry skin types, and they believe in “cationic technology” that they use in their products works better with dry skin, and doesn’t leave the skin greasy compared to other skincare products.
pH balanced, Fragrance free, Colourant free
You can purchase a Curél Enrich two week trial at Boots for £17.50... so luckily you don’t have to buy massive bottles to try it.
Inside your little box you will have:
• Makeup Cleansing Gel
• Foaming Facial Wash
• Moisture Facial Lotion Enrich
• intensive Moisture Facial Cream
The Makeup Cleansing Gel, was easy to apply on dry skin. It does feel a little greasy but we are not wearing it to work are we? Therefore... I didn’t mind 🥰. I washed the gel off in warm water. My foundation came off easily but I did have to wipe my waterproof mascara away from under my eyes and my 12 hour lipstick needed another application of gel. But to be honest with waterproof foundation and 12 hour lipstick 💄 I find extra work is required to remove them with every makeup removers I have tried.
I really liked the foaming facial wash, it’s fragrance free, which is fabulous because fragrances can cause a flare up with dry skin. After I washed off, I felt as though my skin had had a proper gentle but good wash, like a squeaky clean type of feeling. I patted dry but I felt I was ready for the next steps to put some moisture back into my skin.
I then used the facial lotion enrich, which is like a toner. It does say to splash on the face with hands, but some people prefer to use cotton pads but I stuck to the directions and I splashed on with clean hands. Again no smell, but for me I would rather have clean healthy skin rather than my face smell like a very nice flower 🌷.
Lastly but defo not least, I used the intensive moisture facial cream, the cream is very light and none greasy and I really like a non greasy cream after my evening shower. I do not like the shiny head look even when I’m at home x
An hour after first trial my face was noticeably non lobster like. Nor did I have bright pink cheeks where I look like I’ve been boozing all week....
I enjoyed trying the product and I was looking forward to the end of the 2 weeks to see how my skin felt.
So it’s the end of the second week and my skin feels absolutely brilliant... I seem to get one massive underneath the skin spot that I despise before a certain time in the month.... I call him Burt the boil, and I loath him, and guess what? He was a no show!
I have bought some for my daughter and she absolutely loves Curél, so I have redeemed myself!!!! Xx she had little white spots appearing and they are now disappearing, also her skin looks very smooth... I had spots from 13 to late 20s and they made me miserable. So I will be buying Curél regularly for her so she can begin to look after her skin now.
So there you go, Curél is a game changer for sensitive skin
Chow for now fellow Chicks 🐣
Peace and love 💓

I have tried LOTS of different high street foundations (Mum of three 😁), and I have to say No7 Hydraluminous Moisturising Foundation is my new favourite! Now I like a fresh dewy finish kind of like the Kim Kardashian type of look, so if you like a Matt finish, I’m sorry to say this product is not for you. I have dry, sensitive skin, the type where you put something on your face that’s to harsh- and it goes bright red - especially on the cheeks 😩, so when No7 brought this out I had to give it a whirl. Please do take the time to go to the makeup counter to get the correct shade before purchasing. My shade had sold out, so I ordered two on the Boots website after my trip to the No7 counter. When I applied (small blob on finger tip style) my face had a fresh dewy look that covered large pores, and my red cheeks disappeared! When I contoured it was ridiculously easy to blend using the pat blend technique. After a few weeks of using I noticed when I removed my makeup at night time my skin quality had improved so much. My advice is to use sparingly and layer up in areas that need it. Let’s be honest foundation clogs pores no matter what they tell you, so this way you are applying a light layer allowing your skin to breathe and making your foundation last. Also you are not opting for the greasy face look at the end of your day x hope my review helps -

I always buy this toothpaste more than any other, but only when it’s on offer in Morrisons or any local supermarket. I must say this is my preferred Colgate toothpaste and it is sensitive on my teeth and gums. I have noticed that my teeth are slightly whiter since using it, and so have my colleagues at work 😎. But, sadly unlike the emoji they do not need to put there sunglasses on when I walk in the room. However if your teeth are looking dull, this toothpaste works and does not take enamel off your teeth. -

My friend recommended me this Shampoo as she used it when her hair started to fall out after having her baby. This product is a bit on the pricey side but when my hair started to come out due to stress I wasn’t looking at the cost.... The price hack for this is to always check Amazon or Groupon. At the moment you are looking at the Shampoo at a cost of £12.95 for 250mls on Amazon but believe me when I say this stuff works, it really does. The shampoo smells nice and when I massaged into scalp for a couple minutes, I left it on while I gave myself a scrub, then rinsed and I noticed fewer hairs were falling down my back down into the plug hole. I used the shampoo until I ran out and then continued to use my regular shampoo. And since then I have had no episodes of major hair loss. They also do a conditioner but for me the shampoo worked on its own. -

Now this skincare product is one that I always have in. I started to wear it in 2008 when I found out I was pregnant, but the smell on my first pregnancy was a bit too sickly for me! So on my second pregnancy I tried it again and I loved the scent and was addicted to the stuff (weird I know) the big press down bottles last absolutely forever. Since my third pregnancy (2016) they brought out all different types of this cocoa butter and this is my favourite. I have minimal stretch marks and now having my body all back to myself for the rest of my life (I hope) I use Palmers Cocoa Butter every night after the shower on my body, and also after I have cleansed and toned. I would not put the butter on my face in the morning as it it waaaaay to greasy for underneath makeup. This magical butter is in Super Drug for a few quid or why don’t you use your Boots points? -
