I'm SO happy that someone made a clear gel for women that's solid, like guys' antiperspirants are. I hate getting white residue smeared all over my clothes, but I also don't like the cold, wet feeling of soft gel smeared all in my armpits. This deodorant is just what I've been waiting for on both counts, and smells nice as well. However, like other clear sticks, it doesn't contain as much of the active, sweat-fighting ingredients as the white stuff, making it less effective when I'm active or it's hot out. I could not wear this to work every day as my regular deo, for instance. Maybe they can figure out a way to make it stronger without losing its clear, solid charm. -

I used to use this back in the 80's, when splashing alcohol on your face was considered a good way to dry out excess oil and prevent pimples. My boyfriend had a few bottles, so I used it a few times recently out of nostalgia and curiosity. It burns and leaves my skin feeling dried out for hours with no appreciable benefits. The ingredients list reveals a cocktail of skin-irritating ingredients including alcohol, camphor, eucalyptus, and clove oil. -

I found this 2% salicylic acid gel to be very effective, lightweight and non-irritating. It only takes a small amount to cover the entire face, so one tube lasts longer than I'd expected. It doesn't irritate my skin at all, but it's strong enough to keep my skin smooth. I don't usually have a problem with acne, but it gets rid of clogged pores, lines, and rough patches really well. The greatest difference is seen over time, with regular use, but I also can see and feel a difference after just one night when I haven't used it in a while. -

This powder has a wonderful, fine, silky consistency and a pleasant smell that doesn't linger. It goes on smoothly with the included puff and controls shine for a long time--maybe not all day, but for several hours, at least. I have mostly normal/combination skin, with a forehead that can get oily and cheeks that tend toward dryness; this controlled shine all over without making any part of my face dry or itchy. It didn't reveal flaky patches or make the thin skin under my eyes look wrinkly. It's difficult to evaluate the finish because it doesn't really match my skin tone. I would expect a powder that only comes in light or medium to be more neutral, but "light" has a noticeable yellow tone. -
