I think this product looks so cute, so I was hoping it would work really well. The idea is great, a portable pencil that works as an eyeshadow! I have had portable pencils before, and some have worked great. These are such cute colours, so I wanted it to work.
Having said that, these eyeshadows are terrible. These cream shadows go on smoothly, and the colours are very nice once they apply to the lid. But... and here's the part that sucks, it doesn't last, it just disappears off your lids after a while, or just creases REALLY badly. And I'm not saying that this happens within the day, it happens within the hour pretty much. It's terrible.
I really wanted to like this. :(

While I use this product every day, I can honestly say I could live without it. I bought this in Twinkling Gold (the lighter shimmer). While it says on their website: "Twist the handle of this brush and watch a pearlized, slightly reflective powder “magically” come up through the bristles", this isn't exactly the case. Twisting the handle of the brush, hardly does anything. It takes a lot for the powder to actually come up through the brush. If you really want a good amount of shimmer, you'll have to open the back, tap a bunch of powder out, and then dip the brush in it and sweep over your face. If you really want hardly any shimmer, just a dab of it, then you could probably deal with the shimmer hardly coming through the brush, as it will give you a very SLIGHT shimmer. While, when this product does work, it gives a nice glow, I could probably use another product that isn't as defective for the same effect. -

I bought this blush ages ago in Cameo Glow, and I figured I would review it. It still hasn't run out, so one thing you'll be happy about is that it lasts a long time in the package. This blush doesn't look bad on my skin, but doesn't exactly look the greatest either. I was hoping for a nice glow with this blush, but it doesn't exactly make me radiant and it seems to fade quickly. It is sometimes a bit hard to blend, but I expect this with a darker color. I think I need another color. While this blush isn't bad, maybe the color is just a bit too ruddy for me. I need more of a pinky/peachy color for my pale skin tone. I'll have to try After Glo and then get back to you. -

I have pretty fair skin, so anything tinted is usually a no-no for me. I bought this from mark recently because I thought, hey it's the summer, I need something to help boost the color in my face as well as moisturize it! I especially needed it because I had just gotten back from vacation, and as the rest of me was a bit tan, my face wasn't. I really love this stuff! It gave a tiny bit of colour to my face without making it look fake. It boosts your color very subtly, and I find it actually works well alone. I don't really need it with makeup, in fact my face felt soft afterwards, and the moisturizer actually kind of worked a bit like makeup, evening out my skin tone. This is perfect for the summer, I advise anyone in my position to buy this product. I'm pale, pale in case I haven't stated it enough before. Works well on me, so don't worry if you have light skin. -

Before this, I had never bought a primer before. I had received samples of high-end brands, but always thought that the price was too high to splurge for some. So I have lived without it. One day, I received this product for free, and tried it on my face... it was magical. This does exactly what it's name says. It perfects your face. It makes you look flawless, it's a matte formula which lasts all day, and it can be worn alone or under makeup. I wear this alone in the summer when I don't feel like wearing makeup, but it works well under my makeup to keep the shine away. It is also VERY smooth, I love feeling my face after applying this. It's such a great formula. Hey, it also has SPF 20, which is a bonus!
Honestly, if you don't mind paying around $14 (and that's only when it's not on sale), you have to get this primer. I really don't think you'll be disappointed. I know I wasn't.

I'm always weary of waxing my upper lip, because the one time I tried it, my whole upper lip became red and sticky. I prefer to use creams.
This is a GREAT facial hair removal cream, you will not regret buying this. I had tried a similar product by Nair, and it smelled AWFUL and hardly removed any hair! When I tried this facial hair removal cream, it had hardly any scent, it went on great (just squeeze, it comes out easily), and it was fast and easy! I only use this on my upper lip, it's the only facial area I need to remove hair, so I don't know if it works well on other spots, but I can only assume so. You only need it on for about 4 minutes before removing. Use a warm washcloth to take it off. It takes off EVERY hair, I swear to god. Sometimes if I leave it on a little too long, a bit of my upper lip gets red (but usually only in a tiny spot). The red usually goes away about 20 minutes later anyways.
I have absolutely no complaint about this product. The smell doesn't bother me, it works well and is easy to use, and it's not that expensive at all. Perfect for beginners who aren't ready to try waxing, hehe!

This colour is PERFECT for me, and I think it can work on any skin tone! It's a beautiful nude. The lip gloss itself is a convenient little tube, and I have it hooked on to another shade of Glow Baby Glow. I love how convenient the glosses with the hook ups are. I just shove it in my purse, and there's no leakage, and it fits well in my pockets. Love this stuff. I was recently using Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips, and although I absolutely LOVE their gloss and it is my favourite, when I am needing to save money, these lip glosses do perfectly fine. They are almost as good, and come in SO many colours... it's almost hard to choose which one to buy!
I'm definitely going to be stocking up on more colours soon!

It's adorable and totally worth the $35 (though I got it for about $10 less, teehee). It's such a cute, casual feminine top. I was afraid it wasn't going to look good on me because... well, the model in the picture is way thinner and has less boobs, so it would fit me in a different way. Of course it fit me differently, but worked very well! I'm going to want to wear this shirt every single day!! God, I love mark clothes... they are definitely trendy! -

I absolutely LOVE this face powder!
I was over at a friends apartment one day, and we were about to go dancing. I had just put on makeup, but usually during a night of dancing, or even just sitting around chilling with my friends, my face gets a bit shiny/oily. So my friend let me try out her Marcelle Face Powder in Translucent, and when I looked at the photos later on of our night out, there was NO trace of shine on my face at all! Very impressive since we had danced until the wee hours of the morning!
It gave me a flawless complexion by evening out my skin tone, as well as keeping my makeup on for hours. It isn't something I'd keep around in my purse for touch-ups, as the jar is quite large (it's 70g). But it's nice to keep at home, and put on before I go out for the day.
The powder is very light, you hardly feel it on your face, except for making your skin feel super soft. The translucent shade is probably the best, as it doesn't really have a colour (as the shade implies), so you don't really have to worry about getting the proper shade. When I actually went to buy one of my own, they didn't have translucent, only translucent medium (and I'm a very very fair-skinned girl), but it actually works pretty well with my skin, it's just a bit more pinkish than the translucent I find. So either one will work fine on your skin!
I put this on over my foundation, but I don't dust much on, because I am afraid of it looking too powdery. Just a thin layer, or thin pat on your trouble spots, and you're set to go! I use this with a very thick, soft powder brush, and apply in circular motions to my face.
The packaging is easy to use. I usually just turn the jar upside down, tap the bottom a bit, so that the powder falls into the cap, and then apply from the amount that dropped there.
Awesome powder. Just awesome. I only just wish they had it in a smaller jar with an applicator so I could carry it around in my purse and not have something big and bulky!

The only reason I bought this was because I didn't have enough money to spend on high-end shampoos, and this one was about $2 for a big bottle. For something so cheap, it did a good job. It's definitely worth it if you don't need anything special in a shampoo, because as it doesn't do anything special, it doesn't do anything bad to your hair either (like make it too greasy or too dry). This is definitely something I will purchase again when I am strapped for cash. -
