Pat McGrath makeup is hailed and praised for it's beautiful pigment and blendability, and this is no exception. The mattes blend like butter, and the shimmers glisten and shine in a way I've never experienced before this palette. The only downside is its steep price point, coming at $75CAD for a single 6 pan palette. If money isn't an issue, however, these are wonderful shadows to invest your money in. -

So lets just start by saying, my lashes suck. Like, they really, really suck. They only curl with certain curlers, and droop with most mascaras. With this however, they stay lifted and pretty for the whole night. Although it is a heavier formula, it doesn't make my lashes drop at all, and it hold the curl super super well. The only thing is that it is a little clumpy (the cons of a volumizing mascara) and quite pricey if you're tossing it ever 3 months like you should be. Also, Too Faced as a company is kind of shady, so I really try to not give them my money when I can. If that's not something you care about, then the quality of this product is really there -

I got this back in December of last year, and since then, it has quickly become my new go to highlighter. It shows up on even the lightest of skintones (I'm a MAC NC15) and it's still super bright and reflective on me. It looks beautiful on its own, or layered with a powder highlighter on top. Apply it with your fingers for a more dramatic look, or with a damp sponge for a more airbrushed, natural glow. Either way, you'll me highlighted to the Gods with this one. -

Drugstore liners are kind of not the best. You'll get a select few that work okay, that might last longer than average, but all in all, they kinda suck. This isn't the case for this. Throughout the years I've kind of learned that Asian makeup and skincare if kind of really good??? Like, a lot lot better than drugstore products in the west. This retails for close to $10 in Japan, a little more than that in the few places I've seen carry it in Vancouver. It's a DREAM. The brush tip is flexible, and easy to manipulate, and the formula stays forever. The only thing is that it dries not completely matte, and that because the tip is so flexible and it's so waterproof and budge proof, there is a bit of a learning curve to it. But beyond that, it's my new fave. It's great if you need something that will last you all day -

Let me just start by saying PLEASE don't put this stuff on your face! Although it might be a "natural" exfoliant, that doesn't mean it's good for it. The apricot and walnut chunks that are used to exfoliate in this product is way too rough for your skin, and can leave small scratches and damage. However, if you suffer from Keratosis (that rough chicken skin like texture on your skin) this is a wonderful product to help tame that. I use it on the back of my arms 2-3 times a week, and it's really helped smooth down the skin. -

The Tartelette in Bloom palette was one of my first makeup palettes and still remains a favourite to this day. The mattes are buttery and super blendable, with not much fallout, even with the darker shades. The shimmers are extremely pigmented, and remain as my go to for a center of the lid pop, or a inner corner highlight. It's a little expensive, and there might be some cheaper alternatives, but it's no where near Natasha Denona, and the quality is there. -
