This is a review specific to the Giant Tiger on DuMaurier in Ottawa. It is one of the most unappealing stores I have ever been it. It feels dirty, very little seems well organized. I went in yesterday to buy 3 things from their ad which they delivered to my door. The pants they advertised are not carried by that store. ok. I wanted to stock up on some Swansons meat pes...they had none. Ok...can I get a rain check..no because they don't always carry that brand so they suggested I just hope they get some!! basically the same with Johnsonville sausages that they advertised...they will probably be in next week, and can I just keep checking in. I will head to the Bells Corners GT! Where I have already confirmed they have all of those things. -

All of a sudden my nails were splitting and in horrible shape. I have always had strong beautiful natural nails. I recently changed carreers, and am now in healthcare. I wash my hands many times a day and use a lot of hand sanitizer. Additionally I am no longer permitted to wear coloured polish. I decided to try Sally Hansen Nail Rehab. I have been using it for about 6 weeks now and I am very impressed with the results. Where most of my nails were splitting, I now only have one which is causing me a problem. My nails feel stronger, and are growing nicely. It adds a nice shine to your nails, and I noticed they were looking better after the first week. Definitely worth the investment..I paid around 12$. I find that well taken care of nails reflect on a person, and I appreciate that this product has allowed me to once again be proud of my hands. -

I did not have an opportunity to use it immediately, waiting for the right moment. As a community healthcare worker, I work strange hours, and every once in a while get hit over the head with a bout of fatigue...the kind that makes you want to take a nap at a red light. It happened yesterday and I was ready. Like some other chicks I found the ampoules a little difficult to open...I would suggest a tissue to cover bottle in case there is leakage. I did not mind the taste, I used to take pure ginseng and definitely detected it in an orange juleps kind of base. Within about 20 minutes the extreme fatigue subsided. Kind of like a cup of coffee (my normal go to), but I loved that the caffeine would not be messing with my sleep cycle later on the night. This is not a product I would use regularly, but rather something I will keep in my bag, and use for those moments I need it.
All in all, I like the product, and would buy it again. Still cheaper than a cup of coffee on the road, and no caffeine regret at midnight.

I am a community health care worker who works very unpredictable hours. I find myself picking up extra hours on the fly with no meal in the car. Too often, I zip through a fast food joint on the fly. As I have started gaining weight I recognized that this was part of the problem and had considered how I may change the bad habit. This was a very timely review opportunity. I put one in my nursing bag, and yesterday had my first bar. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. I enjoyed the chocolate, felt...well...decadent. I ate it with a cup of Tims at 1145. By 630 pm I had still not experienced any hunger pangs. I found a box expensive, but if it replaces a meal, I am actually saving money...all the while getting much needed nutrition to go about my day.

just when you think it can't get any better, Mr Clean magic Eraser came out with a bath scrubber. I had been using the regular eraser already so was curious as to how it was different. The shape is definitely more ergonomic, and it somehow seems to be sturdier. Whereas I had to throw the regular one out after a few uses, the bath eraser seems to last longer, better suited to the jobs with more area to clean. Works on tubs as well as faucets and fixtures. You'll be amazed at what comes off versus a regular cloth! -

This mascara does do what it says...my lashes looked great, but the mascara started flaking almost immediately. In under 3 hours I had raccoon eyes, and it was quite difficult to totally remove. That being said, I had applied moisturizer before applying, so it may have been a reaction to the 2 products. I will try again, and let you know if there is a difference on my next try. -

When I do shower, I have used it, and my skin was well hydrated once I was dry. I did notice you have to be careful about it dropping onto the floor of the shower, can be sloppy. I used a handheld shower to make sure there was no residue. Skin felt great all over, lightly scented. We need a bath version . -

I was reluctant to put on a moisturizer that I immediately rinsed off, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it absorbed enough to create a beading on my skin after rinsing. I would say that it was a little harder to dry off with a towel, but my skin felt well moisturizer. I wouldn't use it on the feet, due to the risk of making feet slippery on bathroom floors. I loved the soft subtle scent, and found that it is great for a pm shower, skin stayed hydrated until next morning. -

Wow! I usually make chicken salad at home...it is a personal favorite. When I finally caved and got a Costco card, my sister told me I had to try the chicken salad. I did, and I am so impressed. It comes to around $12 for 4 scoops...makes about 8 sandwiches, and tastes great. It is packed with chicken, not a lot of veggie fillers. The meat is minced nicely, so it still has a nice chicken texture, but not big chunks. Great tasting and very filling. -

The soles of my feet occasionally get horribly dry. I had always used Vaseline over socks and it was effective, however after removing carpet, I found it was quite slippery to walk without my socks. When I got Nivea Repair and Care lotion in a gift basket, I liked the thicker consistency, and decided to replace Vaseline with it. I am loving the solution. First of all, it is very moisturizing...no more snags from my heels on my socks. And, it absorbs by morning. Leaving just nicely hydrated heels, with no greasy residue that make walking to the bathroom risky! -
