Popeyes Chicken Restaurant
I was so disappointed.. After much ado, Ottawa finally got a long awaited Popeyes. What a horrible disappointment...service was awful. The girl taking my order told me that they only had spicy chicken as they were closing soon...it was 1 3/4 hours... +
I was so disappointed.. After much ado, Ottawa finally got a long awaited Popeyes. What a horrible disappointment...service was awful. The girl taking my order told me that they only had spicy chicken as they were closing soon...it was 1 3/4 hours before closing time! They were out of 3 sides, and only had about half the sauces. The manager was in the back screaming that an employee was about to get fired. There was no ice i. The ice machine for the soda. At the end of the visit, I spent $52 for 3 of us, poor service, mediocre food, and no chance to try half of the sides/sauces. Also, despite a coupon, I got home to discover they had forgotten one of the sides! -

I started using Eucerin after seeing so many of my patients being recommended it by their doctors. I have really found that the products do what they promised. This particular cream, however, I found to be Alitalia too thick for my liking. It would be great for anyone who likes a really thick cream, but I found that it was so thick that it doesn't absorb quickly enough. I would say to stick to the lotion unless searching for a thicker cream. -

This was a gift from my son who is a big watch lover. I know that it is quite expensive, but I must say that I am so impressed with it. As a health care worker I need a watch that has a second hand, the date and is easy to read. Usually Timex watches were my go to. The Eco drive requires no batteries ever, and will run continuously without winding. It has an easy to see face as well as hands that glow slightly after being exposed to natural light. Definitely a splurge, but if you are looking for a timeless classic ...pardon the pun..I recommend looking at these. -

A totally like being in a lilac orchard. This fragrance is very tru to the flower. Yankee candles last a long time, and burn evenly, so a large candle will last a long time. If you like lilacs, try one of these...fantastic!

I first discovered Scentsy at The Women's Show here in Ottawa. I am a scent lover, and fell in love with their fragrance burner in the shape of a Mason jar, with the words Remember to stop and catch Dragranflies inscribed on it. What I love about the Scentsy burners is that they use a lightbulb to melt the fragrance, as opposed to an open flame, so I don't have to worry about forgetting it. You can't burn a huge melt, as the heat is lower, so for instance, if you use Yankee candle melts, I break it in half. They have some really pretty designs. -

I was so thrilled to find this scent...it's almost exactly like my favorite scent that I used to get in the U.S...fresh cut grass. It's very fresh, and now that I live in an apartment, it is very nostalgic. Love it!

I had been noticing this detergent at Walmart, but had never heard of it. I saw an add on TV making claims that it was even better than Tide, so I decided to give it a try. I am VERY impressed. I used it on a load on towels, dishcloths, etc, and everything came out cleaner than it had been in a long time. The white was very bright, and the colours seemed to be renewed. The clothes smelled fresh, and even older stains were either gone or had faded. It is recommended for cold water, but I used it in warm. My next load was my scrubs, and again I was impressed how they looked less digs, ad old. Definitely my new go to. -

I received a coupon for a free box of this kitty litter from Chick Advisor in exchange for an honest review.
First, I had trouble finding the product anywhere other than Walmart, which was fine as I am there often enough. The litter is very light compared to other brands, a real plus for me, as I live on the 5th floor, and park quite far from the lobby, so definite bonus points for the weight factor.
I have used it twice now, and noticed that the dust I normally see in other litters was non existent ...more bonus points for time saved cleaning up after a litter change.
It controlled the odour extremely well...even immediately after using the litter, we noticed no urine or stool smell.
The only downfall was the price...it is quite expensive compared to other brands. My plan is to wait for sales and stock up...I can leave it in my car and bring it up as needed if I go too crazy.

This is a line of products that I am thrilled to review. As a home healthcare worker, I often apply creams to my patients. Eucerin is one that popped up often, so I decided to give it a try. I have eczema, and when I get a flare up, it is awful. I have a prescription cream, but decided to use the calming lotion after my bath....Wow...no itch, and relief lasted all night. My skin went from angry red to normal in 2 days...way better than the prescription, and left my skin moisturizer. Worth every penny, and a little goes along way. -

While it's hard to judge with only one use, I did notice that the crown of my head, which is normally dry and messy, was a whole lot more like rest of my hair. I love the scent, reminds me of the beach. I will probably buy a bottle of each next time I need shampoo and conditioner. -
