I received the Dream Velvet Soft Matte Foundation through the Chick Advisor Product review club. I typically only use a BB Cream and sometimes a powder rather than foundation as I've found matching my skin tone to be somewhat problematic. I did like the tone that the Porcelain Ivory shade provided for my skin, but I found the foundation itself to be somewhat lacking. It almost immediately started flaking off around my chin which wasn't what I was expecting based on how smoothly it went on. I did use the companion product: Dream Blender which came with the review product, so perhaps that contributed to the flaking? I will probably keep trying this product because I did enjoy the coverage it provided and it did leave my skin feeling very soft. -

I don't dye my hair very frequently, but usually when I do my biggest complaint is how dry and trashed my hair is immediately afterwards, or that the colour didn't take the way I wanted it too. Oh, and I HATE how the dye smells. With Clairol's Nice 'n Easy, I didn't have the problems I usually do. For one thing, the colour was perfect, and it shifted just a few shades lighter than my natural colour, which was exactly what I wanted. For another thing, the included CC conditioner worked wonders, and continues to do so as I use it once a week. There was still the normal ammonia-type scent as the dye was working it's magic, but it wasn't as eye-watering as some other brands, so I didn't mind so much. And the conditioner worked it all out anyway, so I'm a happy camper! I've included a before and after photo (before on the left, after on the right, if you're looking at the image on the screen). -

I have to admit though, I was very disappointed because I was expecting the Brow Pencil, and received the Gel instead. It is NOT the right colour for me, as it is very brown and my brows are very black. However, it is a good quality product, so I cannot fault the hue for not being right on me. -

I received the GOSH Mineral Powder as part of the Product Review Club for free, which is why I'm giving it a 5/5 for price. This is also the first time in my life that I've ever used a mineral powder on my face, so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I love it! It gives me a nice smooth matte finish, and completely smoothes out everything. I am a huge fan of this product, and it's a great light powder that blends really well! -

I received the GOSH Double Precision Mascara for free as part of the Review Club, but I am now a complete convert! My Mom actually asked me if I was wearing false lashes because my lashes looked so long but were completely clump free! I've been using the Volume wand and then using the Precision wand on my upper lashes so they get a big volume boost but are nice and not-clumpy. Definitely a big fan of this one! -

I had really high hopes for this new snack from Special K because so many of their other snacks are so tasty - including their healthier options. These were sadly lacking in flavour however, and I found them to be rather boring. Every once in a while, there would be one chip that was super tasty, but it wasn't enough to compensate for the lack of flavour throughout the rest of the bag.
I also wasn't expecting that I'd have the same issue I have with popcorn - ie, kernels stuck in my teeth for hours - with these chips! That was upsetting. All in all, I don't think I'll buy these because they just don't cut it. For the same calories, I could have something I'd actually enjoy. These just aren't worth it.

I love love love cocoa butter based products, so this one was a no brainer for me. Plus Vaseline products are always relatively inexpensive and they work so it's a good buy.
Surprisingly, I would compare the effectiveness to brands much more expensive than this one: Garnier's 7 day Intensive cocoa butter works about the same as this one and for about a 1/3 of the cost.
