These headphones from Bowers & Wilkins are probably the best pair of headphones I've ever owned. The design of them is phenomenal, the audio quality is superb, and I find them comfortable and easy to use. It's almost impossible to make a perfect product, especially headphones, but I consider them to be pretty close.
First of all, the audio quality on these headphones is phenomenal. It sounds good when you're listening to podcasts or talk radio, but when you switch over to music it really blows you away. Some Bluetooth headphones I've used have suffered in the audio department, but these sound exactly as good as a wired pair of headphones at a similar price. There's no stuttering or connectivity issues, no distortion, they sound perfect. I don't like a lot of bass in my music and I found them to be perfectly balanced.
Visually I find the soft gold style to be very pleasing, it's not so bright that it stands out but it does set itself apart from your standard black headphones. The ear sections are well padded for comfort, and do a great job of sealing your ears to prevent outside noise from distracting you. The noise cancelling also helps with this. One issue with this, however, is that on some heads this might seem too tight. I personally find they fit perfectly, but other people I've allowed to try them on have sometimes found them too tight, even a few weeks after I first started using them. I find the tight grip to be a useful feature, but if you are sensitive to pressure, that could be an issue. It's not head-size. The large-headed members of our family found them comfortable, it's definitely related to how much pressure you like on your ears. Those who were uncomfortable with a tight feeling on the ears, needed time to adjust.
The 22 hour battery life is amazing, I've only recharged it one time over a few weeks of casual use. One way it achieves this is that the auto-off function is on a very short trigger, about 1-2 minutes. I sometimes found this to be too short, but overall this helps to lengthen battery time, and reconnecting takes less than a second, so it's not a major issue. The adaptive noise cancelling also works very well, keeping background audio to a bare minimum without it sounding strange.
A bigger issue I had was with the interesting features that allow the headphones to pause when you lift one ear, or go into sleep mode when you put them down. In theory these are great features, and if you're a normal music listener they probably will be, but I had to download the app and turn them off after several issues they caused me. As I often listen with one ear on and one off, the headphones kept pausing, and every time I found bend down (while vacuuming or cleaning for example) the headphones would interpret that as a signal to go into sleep mode. If you simply walk or job while using your headphones these features should be fine, but if you're bending and moving around more, or if you prefer not to listen with both ears, it's best to turn off these features. If you tend to sit static when you listen to music, for example, transit or just chilling, you can easily leave this feature on. But if you're using these while active, best to leave that feature off.
Despite a few minor issues, I consider these headphones to be near-perfect. The quality of the audio and the sleek design are great, as is the long battery life and ease of use. Gorgeous design, great sound quality and no dropped connection = a very happy owner.

Let's start off with the chocolate. I'm a big fan of Smarties and being from the UK originally, a lot of the chocolate here isn't as nice to me. Chocolate here has more sugar and less milk/cream so normally I buy the expensive Lindt advent calendars. But being a big Smarties gal (here in Canada they taste very similar if not the same!) I was excited to try this. I wasn't sure what to expect; shaped chocolate or packs of Smarties? Well it turns out both. Lemme break down the chocolate for you:
Smartie Balls: Round milk chocolate that split in half and have little crunchie whole smarties (around four I think) in them. Delicious!
Smarties Winterspab: I have no idea what these are, they seem to have foreign writing (dutch, german?) on them, but I was totally wrong to doubt them. The best of the bunch. These are tiny milk chocolate faces (weird faces) with a delicious creamy filling inside that defies description. They also have a couple of smarties in the lower base chocolate. Heavenly.
Smarties Figures: Pretty much the same as the Smarties Balls, chocolate with smarties in it, but in the shape of full size characters (rudolph and other winter figures). Some of these where white chocolate, but it seemed random. Very tasty.
Mini Smarties: A pack of mini smarties, these were, weirdly, my least favourite. I found them to be far sweeter than the full sized smarties and as a result I didn't enjoy them as much, I'd much prefer more Winterspab please!
The 'tower' itself is a super fun design and as well as being a point of excitement for those used to flat advent calendars, it's super fun to find the doors. What's a bit off is the doors that are Smarties boxes, do not have the Smarties box behind them, it's a bit random. However for the cost, compared to a fancy advent calendar, you get a lot more chocolate. I'll definitely consider one of these next xmas!

Let me just say, first of all, that when you look at these you might have some concerns about how much they can hold. Worry not, they are insanely absorbent, hold a huge amount at suction all the liquid away so that it stays pretty dry too.
The only small issue with these is that the 'easy tearaway' sides might cause trouble for some. For example, if your little one has the tendency to stick their arms in the side of the underwear and stretch them, they will eventually rip that way, wasting them or worse, releasing whatever is inside. You do have to put your hands/arms in the band and stretch past about half a hand distance away from the body to make them rip though, so if your kids don't have a tendency to do that, you'll be just fine.
They really do have a lot of designs and patterns like underwear is really easing the training process. I know some people might not like the pink and blue stuff, but there's nothing to stop you using these on whatever gender you want.

A classic mint to have after dinner, especially on occasions like New Year's or christmas. Always a welcome guest to bring to a dinner party too as you can cleanse the palate and have a bit of a naughty treat with this too! For those who don't know, it's a gooey mint/menthe style center in the shape of a square, dipped in a thin layer of dark chocolate.
I'm not usually a huge fan of dark chocolate (too bitter) or mint chocolate, but After Eight's are one of those dessert snacks that tends to appeal to everyone and in this I am no exception. The dark chocolate is not bitter and is offset nicely with the tangy, fresh mint flavour.
Would recommend these for gatherings that have both young and old. They also come individually wrapped which makes them feel a bit luxe!

Functionally these diapers work great and I have very little complaints. They feel quite flimsy initially and the 'closure' seems like it could easily tear open, but once it's stuck down, it really resists any attempt to tear it open, unless you pull the 'catch' itself. Babies aren't strong enough to break them open, so it's not an issue at all and I like the 'wet strip'. They are pretty absorbent and we haven't had any problems with leakage.
My only complaint and reason to reduce a star is the scent. I do feel like they are very strongly scented and this could definitely cause problems with certain babies (and in sensitive diapers is a bit odd). I also found the scent quite headache-inducing. Functionally, they're great, but I wish they were unscented.

It's kind of a weird time of year to review a pressure washer, but here it is. My overall opinion of the Bosch Universal Aquatak 1900 is very good! More than that, I think it's absolutely ideal for those, like me, who've never used a pressure washer before. One of the big reasons for that is how easy it is, both to use and to assemble. All the parts click or rotate into each other easily and without a lot of stress. The instruction manual is pretty sparse for good reason, it's super simple to set up. I'd definitely recommend reading the manual though, because you want to make sure to use the right settings, especially when it comes to something like your car. Make sure to stay more than 30CM away, wash at an angle and you won't damage your car in the process.
Two of the things I really like about this unit is the ease of changing settings and the fold-down handle. Since it's designed to be stored indoors in the winter, having the handle fold down really decreases the amount of room it needs. As for the spray-head settings, having them turn rather than needing to replace the whole nozzle is really genius. It's annoying when a tool comes with fifty different attachments that you inevitably lose. With a bad back, I'm also super grateful for the wheels as lifting things isn't really my forte.
If you've never used a pressure washer before and are looking for something simple, lightweight and easy to use this is it!
I was really pleased with the pressure offered on this pressure washer. It's very good value. A lot of times the reasonably priced washers are on the weaker side, not so for this one. Keep in mind, you will need your own hose (and tap), but that hose hooks right into the front of this unit. The cord length on this is also really good so if you have some distance to a power outlet, this won't let you down.

Got these on sale and at the time they were the cheapest set of 2 blackout curtains available (often they are sold in sets of one panel, but these have two) and I'm pretty happy with them. They won't keep out every bit of light and make the room pitch black unless they are used with a blind (I am currently using them with a paper blind), but they still make the room pretty dark on their own.
Honestly, they are not the best type of fabric for looks and can look a little cheap from close up, but at a distance they look great and surprisingly the fabric is very thick and well-sewn. They are a good size and very long (I later trimmed them to not cause a hazard for my baseboard heaters) when you trim them the edge doesn't fray, so that's a bonus too.
The colour is true to the picture and I went for that colour because of the price (different colours are sometimes on sale so click around to get the best deal), the blue really helps block out the sun even more. Please ignore the mess in my pictures, I was putting away laundry! Would buy again.

Works extremely well, though for large potatoes you will need to cut them in half. It does take a bit of force to operate (like all force based vegetable slicers), if you're really struggling definitely cut the potato smaller and it will cut a lot easier. The suction cup is a lifesaver because I don't have to worry about it sliding all over the place. Very easy to use and essential for those who (for whatever reason) cannot chop a lot of potatoes. -

Can't comment on this as a baby toothbrush as I have bought it to use as a cat toothbrush (great for tricky kitties who don't like brushes but will let you rub their teeth; make sure to use special cat toothpaste). As a toothbrush, it works really well on cats, thick enough to stop you getting poked by them sharp teeth.
The downside is this is very small. I am plus size, but my fingers are on the thinner side for women my size (still bigger than average though) and this fits...just. The problem is when you try to take it off, the pulling causes suction on the finger and it's almost like a finger trap. It should have an airhole in the top to prevent this. Thankfully it's flexible enough that you can roll it off, but it's a bit tight.
If you have hands on the large side of average or are a man, you probably will need to put this on a smaller finger or find a bigger option. Still, it works well, just not if you have large fingers.

Been looking for a scraper for some time for removing things like sticky residue from 3M strips. There's not much to say, but this one is great. It's the perfect firmness, doesn't bend but is comfortable to hold and the scraping part at the bottom is just right. It's sharp enough to scrape off what you're trying to, but dull enough that it won't damage tiles or walls. A+ as a scraper on delicate walls. -
