This product retails for about 15 bucks but I got it on sale at Shoppers for about 11. I must admit I can be a sucker for clever packaging and I wasn't dissapointed this time. I found the regular price to be a little steep but the cleanser works well and doesn't overdry. The scrublet is adorable and really makes for a good clean. My spouse usually uses the products that I purchase and he liked this too - even used the scrubber too. I usually use Aveeno Ultra Calming Foaming Cleanser but I would buy this product again for sure - especially if it's on sale. -

I really wanted to love this product. The idea of using a primer on lashes prior to colouring sounds like such a good idea. Usually the demise of prodcuts like this is formula and this is the case this time.
The product is a mascara that is two-ended. You first apply the primer, a light milky colour on your lashes that is supposed to make them stonger and healthier. Then you apply the colour end after and your lashes are supposed to explode.
When I used it I found that the primer went on nice. It lightly coated my lashes and they were whiter. I think my main dissapointment in this product came with how the colour coat went on. It was drier then I thought it would be and didn't give me the effect I wanted. For the price, I can get alot of other way better products, considering this product usually retails for ~15$.
I say pass, you can get better - but it works so I would pass it as average.

I saw that Nicole polish was on sale today at the Rexall and I decided to pick one up as it was payday and I had just recieved my OPI Start to Finish Base/Top Coat in the mail and I wanted a new shade to try with it. I wanted to get a shade that was unlike anything that I had at home, and I have quite a few polishes. I settled on this shade - Dream Maker. Whenever I pick up a glitter polish I'm a little unsure because I don't know what concentration of glitter there will be and if I can get a nice solid coat. Furthermore I wonder about how much polish it will take me to remove it.
When I tried this polish I immediately loved it. It's a semi-opaque bubblegum pink shimmer with gold and silver flecks of micro-glitter. Such great application - I love the formula. The finish is great and worked well with the base/top coat. I accidentally messed two nails and easily removed the polish so I don't think it will be that bad to remove. The formula dried fast, but I always find glitter polish to dry faster then creme or matte ones. I think it's a surface area thing. Anyways this polish is a new fave for me, it's totally gorgeous. The perfect mix of natural and sassy.
NOTE** I am going to post a swatch from an amazing nail website called e-polishblog.blogspot.com. Check it out.

I wanted to get a base/top coat combo so I found this online and got it for about 7.50 CDN including shipping - NIB. I think it retails for more than that, but about 5 bucks. Especially in Canada. And to be honest I've never seen this product in stores, so I was interested.
It applies nicely and makes a smooth layer to put polish on top. The percieved quality of the product is high for me so I really want to like it. I'm trying to be pragmatic about it. We'll see how it performs. I wound up being dissapointed in my Rimmel Base/Top Coat when I wore it for more than a day. It didn't make my polish last longer at all, but it seemed to make my polish dry a bit quicker, or maybe it's just me.
I really liked the way this formula applied, very easy and neat. I really like OPI brushes. The finish on my polish is really nice so we'll see how it wears. I'll try to update.
I would suggest that more people start EBaying polish and nail products. You can get some amazing deals and some rare polish shades. It's really worth it.

I really like this product. I use the cleanser and moisturizer, which I actually like more than the cleanser. The product comes with a foaming pump which is cool, and works well and a little product goes a long way. The only problem I have with it is that the pump never works for the life of the bottle. The spring back on the pump always stops working about half way through the bottle. Which isn't a deal breaker as you can manually pump it and it works fine, but I find it annoying.
My spouse really likes this product and this is a big reason why we keep buying it again and again. He just loves this product and basically all Aveeno products.
The cleanser works well. I like the foaming formula - it's refreshing and works well with the moisturizer. The price is decent for the quality of the product. I think it retails for about 15 bucks CDN at the Shoppers, which is less than Clinique cleanser by about 5 bucks. The other good thing is that because you can buy it at Shoppers or Supervalu it goes on sale and I can get it on a semi-regular basis for about 10.
I would certainly reccomend Aveeno products. I actually haven't tried a bad one yet.

I decided that with my recent obsession with nails that I should pick up some sort of base/top coat. As I have already purchased the Rimmel London French Nails Pro set I decided to go ahead and pick up the Pro Base/Top Coat. I had always hesitated with the whole base/top coat situation because I always thought that it would make drying time too long for my clumsiness.
I went and tried the product tonight with my Revlon Nail Polish in Not So Shrinking Violet - a dark purple with some little shimmer. Very nice shade. I applied a thin coat of base coat and then a thin coat of polish and a slightly second coat. I let the polish dry for 20 or so minutes and then applied a thin coat of top coat. Drying time - excellent. I don't know but it seemed that the polish dried faster with the top coat. Dancing With The Stars is 1 1/2 hours long and I had a dry batch of nails by the end of the show.
Overall I give this product good ratings. It didn't dissapoint me in any way. In fact, I feel a little foolish because I picked up the OPI Base/Top coat online and it hasn't arrived yet. Maybe it will wear better than this product. I shall see what kind of wear I get on this product. I might get chips strait away so I have to see how much more longevity I get with this Base/Top coat. I would reccomend this product to others.

This is a mid-priced polish that sells at Shoppers. I had seen it around when browsing but had hesitated to purchase it because I wasn't prepared to shell out the 11.99 regular price. It went on special and I had some cash to spend so I picked up Raspberry Sorbetto, a dark bubblegummy flamingoish pink that I thought was really cute and fresh for Summertime. I will attach a swatch of another blogger reviewing it so you can get a feel for the colour.
PROS:
Colour is delicious and pigmentation is good. Two thick coats w. topcoat got nice coverage, especially for a darker shade.
Reasonably fast drying. It doesn't market itself as a fast-drying formula, but it does dry quickly.
Brush is thick and nice for wider nails like mine. With the formula, which is nice and smooth you get good coverage and it's easy to control.
CONS:
-Regular price is a little steep for polish collecting as it's not so totally amazing that 11.99 is really worth it. With brands like Revlon & Sally Hansen and even L'Oreal being 4-5 dollars cheaper you can get polish that is just as good at a better price.
-Wish that it was just a little more pigmented. Maybe I'm fussy but I would like it to be a little more opaque. Still looks good.
All in all for the price I wouldn't buy this polish on a regular basis at full price, however I would buy another bottle if the colour really spoke to me or if I need retail therapy and it's on sale.

I purchased the Rimmel London French Manicure Pro French White Nail Tip Liner the other day and I also did a review on that product that you should probably check out. But once the tips were done I just had to find the perfect top colour that would make the tips look a little more natural, but not being too dark or milky. It is a difficult thing to discover as I have found.
I initially purchased Revlon 009 Sheer Pink as my top colour (and another darker purple shade for my toes, I reviewed them) but I wasn't satisfied with the colour on my nails for FM. The polish was fine buy it wasn't the look I was going for. I went back to the shoppers to get another top colour.
Initially I was going to get a different shade of pink from Revlon as it was on sale for $3.79, but I actually decided on the complimentary Rimmel product for my tip liner. Glad that I did as I got the look I was after and it was good polish.
The colour is clear rosy colour and it has a thicker brush, like a thin eyeshadow brush. It worked well with the tips and dried impressively fast.
I'll have to report back on the chipping as I just put it on.
All in all I would buy it again and I'm glad with the finished product.

I was a total sucker for this products packaging. Even my boyfriend commented on the packaging when it was laying around on the coffee table. And it is interesting, like a white out pen, or those Estee Lauder (the accents don't work on my keyboard right now) Lip Gloss.
I got it ina sheer pink shade (Are We There Yet? 006) and I was hoping that it would a revolutionary nail polish that I would buy every colour of and never have to try anything ever again but it didn't work out that way. The applicator (brush) has to be cleaned w/polish remover everytime you do apply it. It also didn't last that long, the colour coverage was fine but I wasn't going to write home about it.
That pretty much describes my analysis of this product.

I wasn't really that blown away by these. The price was great, like $3 but I found them hard to apply, as you have to get the on the natural boundary between the quick & the white and they bled when I applied my tip colour, even though they seemed to stick well and I made sure they were properly adhered (apparently not).
To be fair, I was expecting a nail tip colour to come with a standard brush but it was more like a liquid eyeliner brush so I had to sweep across and not down and up (see my review of Rimmel French White Tip Pro) so that may have had something to do with the bleeding. Either way the Rimmel Tip colour worked just great without the guides so unless you are using a white tip colour with a regular, thicker brush I would advise against using guides and just practise a bit and do it freehand. With the thin, narrow brush it isn't that hard once you get a feel for the polish.
All in all, not a bad product, especially considering the price, but I don't think I'll use it again.
