I decided to learn to do French Manicures (FM) at home so I went to the Shoppers and picked up the materials. I saw that this was on sale so I bought it because I have generally been pleased with Rimmel products (including their nail products) and the price was right (under $5 on sale). I also purchased FM stick on guides because I have little coordination.
I didn't know when I bought the product that it would have a brush like a liquid liner so when I went to use it so I was surprised and had to try a different technique for applying it. I used the guides the first time and because you have to sweep across the nail, instead of up and down. When I took the guides off they bled under the sticker and it looked ghetto, so I removed it and revised my strategy.
Today I decided to give it a shot without the guides and it went much better. It takes a bit of practice but if you don't have really long nails this is a great product. It's reasonably easy to get a great nail line with the brush w. a little trial and error and when you've got it down it looks good, dries fast and seems to last long.
I'm not certain that this product would be great for long nails, but if you have shorter (like 3mm of whites) this is a pretty good polish. The only thing to do now is find the perfect sheer pink top colour.

I purchased two bottles of Revlon Nail Polish today as it was on sale @ Shoppers for $3.79CDN a peice and I needed a sheer pink to do french manicure with and decided to get a second, a dark purple. I just did my nails so I may report back on chipping etc but I did my toes in the dark purple colour (790 - No Shrinking Violet) and colour went on solid and smooth in two thin coats. Threw on a clear gloss and they look super sassy.
I bought the Rimmel French White Tip Pro but needed buy a sheer pink topcoat so I picked up #009 - Sheer Pink to put on top. I wanted a more opaque colour than what I got from this polish, but it went on allright and wasn't that bad. I just did three coats. I think I'll continue the search for the perfect FM top colour but may come back to this one for natural, non-french polishing.
Overall I was pleased with the price and quality of this product.
