I went to our local thrift store the other day as I always do to look for new (to me) books. They had a great sale on books and all soft covers were 25 cents. I managed to grab a bunch and I noticed "Of Mice and Men" and the name sounded vaguely familiar. Turns out there is a movie. I had never seen the Movie nor read the book, so I started off not knowing anything about what I was about to read.
I grabbed it as a quick read. Something to read in between reading everything else I am in the process of.
It was a great story. Sad, but great, none the less.
As the final scenes were unfolding I couldn't help but look back on Candy's dog and realize the lesson learned in his final moments........Sometimes the thing you feel you cannot do yourself, is the one thing that only you should do.
And George, he did what only him should do.
Great read!

We really love the G2 version of Gatorade. We first noticed this product when it popped up in the cooler at our local dollar store in the fruit punch flavor. It tastes great. Since then we have purchased the big multi package and it is totally worth every penny.
Normally I am not one for flavored "juice" type products. But Gatorade G2 is not too sweet and there is a great variety of flavors.
I have tried the fruit punch, blueberry, orange and grape flavors as well as another blue flavor (not sure exactly what the flavor was called)
They are fantastic for sports activities or as a drink when you are your kids are sick to help hydrate them.
Gatorade G2 Hydrates with the same electrolyte formula as regular Gatorade but with less carbs and Calories, And it tastes just as good, if not better.

We love having McCain Spicy Wedges on hand for those times when you just do not want to have regular fries or potatoes for a side dish. They go well with Chicken, Steak, Pork Chop, well just about anything. The bag says Spicy and they do have a great mixture and blend of spices but they are not Spicy as in Hot. Which is great in our book. We all love them, kids included. -

A great smelling shampoo from Head & Shoulders. Used a sample of this for my daughter when she was having some issues with dryness on her scalp it seemed to help fairly well for her. My husband got Psoriasis on his scalp and in facial hair (some of the time) so we are pretty loyal to the Head & Shoulders brand, as that is what works for him. -
Scope Original Mint Mouthwash
Scope Original Mint Mouthwash is a pretty good product. Not my favorite mouthwash but it is a good alternative because it is quite a bit cheaper. Taste is pretty good and leaves the mouth feeling fresh.

I remember playing this as a child and really enjoying it. So I purchased one online last Christmas for my kids. The board was way different than it was when we were younger. Fast forward a bit and I found an older version in brand new condition at a thrift store. Got it for super cheap and we actually prefer the older version over the new version board.
Both versions were worth it, but quality wise we prefer the older board.

They are way too sweet, to the point where I did not even eat it and it ended up in the trash. Now one thing anyone who knows me knows well is that I love anything chocolate. Crave it and love it so it has to be pretty bad for me to trash it.
I will not be purchasing this again.
