I have naturally curly and frizzy hair. I purchased this because of the claim of making my hair not frizzy and defining my curls. Unfortunately for me it did not. In fact I felt like my hair was frizzier while I used this shampoo.
It did smell nice and the lather was amazing but otherwise for me this did not live up to my expectations and is something I will not purchase again.

I used Materna for 2 out of 3 of my pregnancies. They are a little more expensive than generic brands. I did not use them for my 3rd pregnancy because any and all vitamins that I tried to take made me extremely sick, but for the first 2 pregnancies I took them fine with no side effects. Great products for expectant mothers or even something great to begin taking if you plan on trying to get pregnant in the near future. -

I was quite excited to get to try Neutrogena all in 1 Daily Scrub
Unfortunately my excitement was short lived. The Daily Scrub (combined with the Daily Facial Lotion) ended up giving me quite a rash on my face and neck. So I had to discontinue using this after just a day or two of using it. I did however try the products again once the rash was completely gone to see if perhaps something else had caused the rash. But again after just a day or two I got the same type of rash.
I did like the way the daily scrub made my skin feel when I did use it, It felt clean, but unfortunately I did not use this product long enough to be able to give a really good review on it.

Unfortunately my excitement was short lived. They ended up giving me quite a rash on my face and neck. So I had to discontinue using this after just a day or two of using it. I am not sure I used the product long enough to give a really good review, but none the less this was my experience.

If you have ever found yourself at a community event singing along to the song “Sweet Caroline” then you have been singing along to one of Neil Diamond’s hit songs. It was officially released on May 28th, 1969 as a single. Neil is a Grammy Award-winning artist, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and has many other achievements and awards tucked under his belt.
I pride myself on liking all different types of music. I could sit and listen to gospel or I could sit and listen to heavy metal and any and all genre in between. I found that this album however, was not for me. I literally had to make myself listen to each of the songs so that I could write an honest review. I am not even sure I could choose a song off of the album that I really like.
However I am sure that there are many people who will be happy about the new album and will enjoy it immensely.

To be completely honest ‘Hate list’ was different then any book or any story that I had ever read before. I more or less picked it up to read before my 12 year old daughter did.
With that being said, I actually thought the book was well written and gave a lot of things to think about.
The book features Valerie’s life after her boyfriend, Nick, initiated a shooting at a high school and then killed himself after he shot her in the leg as she tried to stop events from unfolding further. The book goes from the past before and during the shooting into the present with what Valerie is dealing with on a day to day basis after the shooting.
Hospital stays, healing after being shot, emotional healing, and psychiatric care are just a few of the things she deals with. One of the big things the book talks about is Valerie going back to school at the school where the shooting took place. Some of the people who attend the school believe her to be innocent, while some of the people think she has something to do with the shooting.
After all it was Valerie and Nick’s Hate list that the victims were on.
I found the book to be an interesting read with a different take on a different type of victim of circumstances.

This was my very first time coloring my own hair. Usually I would get a friend to dye it for me. So I found the two step process very easy to understand with great instructions that included pictures and descriptions.
The product went on evenly and easily and blended in very well. The color was super vibrant and even after numerous washes the color has not faded and continues to be vibrant.
My favorite things about this product are?
First off my hair felt so soft after being dyed. I do not think I have ever dyed my hair and actually had soft hair right away after dyeing. I kept running my fingers through my newly dyed hair.
The second thing that I loved was the fact that after I washed the dye out and used the super nice smelling conditioner my hair smelled great.
I distinctly remember the last time I dyed my hair (before Salonist). I got into bed that night, my husband turned over and was cuddling me. He said “What did you wash your hair with? It stinks”. So this time with the Salonist hair dye, my hair smelled great right away, no awkward dye smell.
I will definitely be using this product again when it is time to color my hair again.
So what are you waiting for? You have nothing to loose and but you have Great soft salon quality color to gain.

This was my first time reading anything written by Tracie Peterson so I cannot compare it to any of her previous works. However I have read christian fiction a few select times in the past.
The book is suppose to be about Lenore Fulcher practically falling in love with complete stranger, Kolbein Booth. Although I found there are a lot of little stories through out the book before the Lenore/Kolbein story really comes out. Lenore is a woman with a very well upbringing, her father being a business man. In the beginning pages of the book, we meet Lenore’s father, Josiah Fulcher as he tries to set up courtship between Lenore and one of his business associates. Lenore however is not interested in being forced into marriage and manages to bide time, at least for one month.
Her best friend is Abrianna Cunningham who is ward of three sisters who run a bridal school. Young women come from all over to learn to be wives. Learn to cook, sew, sing, and clean. Abrianna however, despite being practically raised under the roof of the bridal school is proving to be harder to teach the tasks of sewing, and cooking. She manages to get in trouble with her Aunties as she calls the three sisters for burning everything from baked goods to eggs.
Abrianna’s real interest is taking care of the less fortunate and needy. She enjoys taking food, warm blankets and other needed items to orphans and other homeless people. Feeling that is what God has called her to do, she cannot imagine doing anything any different with her life.
Kolbein is introduced into the book as a Lawyer who has traveled all the way from Chicago to find his younger sister. Lenore and Kolbein are almost instantly smitten with each other.
Lenore has to leave town in the beginning of the book to accompany her mother and father for a while. She depends on Abrianna to talk to Kolbein about her good qualities. All the while she is away she is missing this man that she barely knows. Secretly he is feeling much the same thing. They are both longing to be reunited to see where their relationship goes.
As the book continues you get to see the characters blossom with their own qualities and quirks. I think my favorite character was actually Abrianna. I loved that she was her own person and did not quite conform to what was considered the norm during that time period.
I actually enjoyed that the book was set in the late 1800’s. It was really neat to read how different times were back then compared to now. How different women and men were expected to act around each other. How what was expected of society was quite different. Even words such as legs was considered taboo especially around members of the opposite sex.
I am not going to go on and on about the rest of the things that happened in the book, my review already has a few spoilers in it. But I have to say I was surprised to have liked the book as much as I did.
Initially when I began reading it, I was a little confused with the characters at the beginning, but I pressed through and continued to read the chapters. The book got better and better the more I read.
Although I am sure there are a few things in there I may have changed, I overall did enjoy the book. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Christian Romance or books that are set during the 1800’s time period.

I dug a little bit out of the container to try.
I did find that it began melting as soon as I started working it through my fingers, it softened very quickly.
Surprisingly it rubbed into my skin very easily. It never left any sort of residue, it was not greasy. (I dislike greasy products so much so was super happy about this).
I used to to rub into my legs and feet, and applied some to elbows and knees. Again it rubbed in great. I have very dry feet in the winter, so I found that it moisturized very well and am looking forward to using this daily to see if I can get rid of the dryness for good. I also applied it as a lip balm, I found it great.
I also have some stretch marks and scars that I am going to be applying this to. I am curious to see if it will minimize the look of them. I will definitely update at a later date to see if I find a difference.

I actually want to try making a soap or lotion out of it. Maybe add some nice scents as the only thing I was not fussy about was the natural scent of the Shea butter.

All in all I found it to be a great product, it rubbed in nicely and definitely moisturized my skin. I am looking forward to seeing what else I can do with this great product.
