Just picked this up yesterday and I'm quite pleased with it so far. It's not so much a primer, like the packaging suggests, but more of a light finishing powder that helps illuminate your skin and even out your skin tone. The brush that comes with it is pretty terrible, it's scratchy and also makes a mess of the powder but other than that, this is a great product - it's already earned a spot in my purse for touch ups. -

I got this moisturizer as part of the product review club (if you aren't a member what are you waiting for?) I just checked Marcelle's website and saw that it retails for $27.50, which I think is an acceptable price for the amount of moisturizer you get, but is also more than I tend to spend on my moisturizers.
I like that it contains SPF and is targeted at women in my age range, who don't have deep wrinkles yet but are starting to think about anti-aging skincare. What I don't like is that it contains chemical sunscreens (oxybenzone and octinoxate), which are possibly be carcinogenic. Personally from now on I'd only like to use natural SPF, so for that reason alone I would not repurchase this moisturizer.
In terms of the moisturization, this hydrates well and absorbs pretty quickly. I've worn it under my makeup (and under my Neostrata Oil Free Mattifying Fluid) and I had no issues with it balling up or doing anything weird. Since we're in the middle of the summer I can't fully judge its moisturizing abilities, but I'm pretty confident it could handle those dry winter months.
Although this moisturizer is perfume free it does have a light scent that I don't love. It smells vaguely sunscreen-ish. Personally I prefer something with no scent, or if it scented I'd rather it be something fresher.
I think this is a decent product, but it's just not for me.

I love Joe Fresh, but these are a miss.

I love this lip stain so much that after trying out two shades I had to go back to Zehrs and pick up one more! The colours I have are Watermelon, Red, and Grapefruit.
These lip stains have the same felt tip applicator that the Cover Girl lip stains have but I find the product far superior. The colours are more intense and last longer, and they don't smell as chemically when you put them on. Plus at $6 a pop they're totally affordable! Basically, everything you could want in a lip stain.
So far my favourite shade is Watermelon, which gives me a pretty pigmented raspberry colour (the colour can be adjusted depending on how you apply). Red is darker than I was anticipating but gives a dramatic red lip that would be great for a night out. I think the colour I'm really after is Apple just to give me a good base for a bright red lippy. Grapefruit is a good every day colour just to brighten up my lips a bit, but since my lips are already fairly pigmented on their own it's not super noticeable on me.
Like any lip stain I've tried these are a bit drying, so I just make sure to use lip balm throughout the day. And of course you need to make sure your lips aren't too dry before applying or the lip stain will just highlight the dry skin (yuck!)

This was the most I've ever spent on a concealer, but I was getting sick of the dark circles under my eyes and the more affordable concealers just weren't getting the job done. I decided to buy this concealer after reading some reviews online and I'm happy I did. It's quite pigmented and has a creamy consistency which makes it easy to use and the tube should last me a few months since I only need about a pea sized amount. The concealer does separate in the tube, but this is easily fixed by squeezing it every few weeks with the lid on to get everything gelling together again. I really didn't think it was a big deal.
This concealer has a bit of an orange tone, which works great to cover up dark circles. It goes on dark but is easily blended into your skintone. I went with medium because it blended into the back of my hand the best, but now I think I could have gone a shade or two lighter. It doesn't bother me, though, I haven't had any trouble blending it in with some powder on top.
I'm quite happy with this concealer and even with the price tag will buy again when I run out!

I have this lipstick in both Park Ave Peach and Are You Red-dy. Park Ave Peach is my go-to every day colour, it's a very wearable peachy pink that just brightens up my face. Are You Red-dy is a great, pigmented red for a night out, although probably best paired with a lip liner for extra staying power and precision.
These lipsticks last a fairly long time, but will definitely need retouching after a meal or a few hours of wear. They do leave my lips a little bit dry (what lipstick doesn't?) so I make sure to swipe my lips with burt's bees first.

This is a really great product, and it's ridiculously affordable. I first discovered it when I received a sample in ELLE Canada and after quickly using up the sample I knew I had to get my hands on more. I couldn't find it at a drugstore near me but since my bf was in the US for work I got him to pick some up. Yay!
Alright, so what I love about this product is how it absorbs easily and leaves my skin so so smooth. Plus it smells like chocolate! Yummm. I've read that some people find the scent overpowering, and luckily for them this product also comes unscented.
The only negative about this product is that I wish it were more natural. It contains parabens, which I try to avoid. If it weren't for that I would have given it 5 stars across the board.

Since I'm lacking in freezer space I decided to throw an ice cream party so my friends could help me test out the 3 ice cream flavours.
This flavour was greatly anticipated by my ice cream party guests but there was some disappointment in the taste since it didn't quite deliver on the cheesecake front. My friends felt that it paled in comparison to the chocolate velvet ice cream that we also sampled. We were also surprised that there were no cheesecake bits in the ice cream to give it texture and add to the cheesecake flavour. Having said that, I did enjoy this ice cream and would be happy to have it again!
We all felt that $8 was a bit much for the tub of ice cream, and more than once people remarked "what's with the double churn thing?" It seemed to raise people's expectations for the quality of ice cream, and while it was quite creamy, it didn't seem all that different from other ice cream we've eaten.

I have to say, this flavour was the least desired by my friends out of the three that we tested. The flavour was better than we expected, although not everyone was sold on the idea of banana cream pie ice cream. I don't think that this will become a best seller, but it's certainly an option when you want something different!

Hands down, this was the winner of the evening, which is probably no surprise. Everyone loved the dark chocolate flavour, including me, even though I prefer milk chocolate.
