Ugh, I got this eyeliner recently because it promises not to go anywear, to last all day and says it's waterproof and smudge-proof. I usually line my eyes with a little line extended a bit past my lash line and I line my lower lid. This eyeliner goes on pretty easy, but it doesn't last very long. The color simply fades if it doesn't smudge first. Unlike its promises, this eyeliner smudes extremely easily, and it is not waterproof at all (I went swimming and got horrible racoon eyes with it). Bottom line: easy to apply, but if it doesn't smudge all over your face, it'll barely be visible by the end of the day. -

Ok, so I got this at Big Lots for 2 bucks. Good deal! My hair is regularly chestnit brown, and I was promised copper hair at the end. This fruity-smelling mousse is so easy to use! It comes with gloves and everything! Just apply onto damp hair, let develop for 30 minutes, and rinse! Voila! It promises to last for 8-12 shampooings, though I've found that that isn't the case. 3-4 is more like it, but it's still good. The color payoff was wodnerful! My hair was soft, shiny, smelled good, and was a vibrant copper color. I was shocked that my brown hair could be such a color! Overall, this is a very good prodct for no-commitment hair color! -

I purchased this mascara for around 7 bucks in the color Very Black. I didn't have very high expectations for the price, but I had heard good things, so I decided to give it a shot. The first thing I noticed was how big the tube was. It's very attractive, though, and a pretty orange color. The wand is also pretty big, but I didn't experience any difficulty with it after using it a couple of times. Yes, the wand is bigger than most mascaras, but the results are bigger lashes! After curling my lashes I applied two coats of the mascara. Unlike some mascaras, this one actually can hold a curl! I got very excited about that because I was having droopy-lash syndrome with some other mascaras I had tried. My lashes also because considerably thicker and much longer. The color of this mascara is blacker than any other mascara I have tried. It truly is very black! There is also no clumping and it looks like you don't have any mascara on, just like you are naturally blessd with thick, long, dark lashes! I love this product! I would recommend it to anyone! -

I got this for around 6 bucks, I belive, at CVS. My skin was looking really bad and I was breaking out. I decided to do soemthing good for my skin so I purchased the Mineral Power pressed powder in Medium. The strange thing about this powder is that it is only available in 3 shades- Light, Medium, and Dark, and in only 1 bronzer shade. I found this odd, but I purchased Medium for my medium-light skin because summer is coming up. I have to say the Maybelline compacts are so much more convenient than other brands. You just swing it open and have access to the mirror and the powder at the same time! The applicator is a little sponge (that's good, it's better than a puff because sponges are washable). I dusted this on when I was sans foundation because I just needed to run out to the store but didn't want to go out with completely bare skin. I was actually pleasantly surprised with this. Unlike most pwoders which accentuate my pores, this hid them and even helped tone down my dark circles. The powder looked just a little too yellow in the sunlight (reason for 4 stars), but my skin looked glowing and radiant. This powder doesn't make your skin look matte, it just makes it look glowing and healthy. As for oil control, this doesn't do any better than all the other pwoders I've tried, but that's just my oily skin. I'm sure for others with less oily skin they wouldn't even need to do touch-ups for this one. Overall, this is a good, affordable powder that evens out skin tone and covers minor imperfections while giving skin a healthy and natural glow. Try it, you won't be disapointed! -
