This is one of my favourite shower gels! I have been savouring it so I don't run out!
This smells like sweet strawberry candy. It smells so yummy, kind of like this Strawberry Shortcake hand cream I used to be able to get from Avon when I was a very young kid. It takes me right back to those days and makes me very nostalgic.
This is a very thick gel which lathers and foams really well. I use it primarily as a body wash, however it does work really well as a bubble bath too. It creates really soft, sweet smelling bubbles in the water.
I believe this entire Strawberry Shortcake collection was a limited edition, so it may not be available anymore. However, if you can still find it somewhere, I would highly recommend you try it! It's a very good product that leaves you feeling clean, soft, and smelling of strawberry sweets.

This is one of the lighter body butters I've come across. It has a sort of light, whipped texture that glides smoothly onto the skin. It's not very thick and feels more like a lotion. For that reason, it doesn't feel particularly hydrating, but it does leave you smelling very nice, and it will leave a very light veil of moisture to the skin if that's all you require.
The product can dry up along the perimeter of the container quite easily. It also starts smelling kind of funny if you take too long to use it, but that goes for most things.

I think the idea behind this is a really great one. There's a sharpener in the cap, so every time you twist it open, it sharpens the tip into a perfect point! So many automatic eyeliners go flat after a few uses and you can't get their shape back, so this is an awesome way to prevent that from happening.
However, having said that, I find that this formula is quite dry and it really tugs on the skin of my eyes. I had to press really hard to get the colour to show up, which made application quite uncomfortable. I'm not sure if this is the same from colour to colour, or just with the purple, but I'm really not fond of it.

That's not to say that it's a bad book, or that its sequels are poor, but the very fact that they are not unique makes them immediately suffer. Additionally, the writing quality is simply mediocre, which is something that becomes more and more apparent upon a second and third read-through.
Because the element of romance in these books is such a common trope in other things -- with two boys vying for the heart of one strong, independent heroine -- it's the action scenes and themes of political tyranny and uprising which will have to set this series apart from others. In that respect, I think it does a fair job, with pacing being its strong suit.
This is definitely not the worst young adult series that exists, but it's also far from the best. At the very least, it may encourage young folk to question how their government works and if changes should be made to improve it.

I had heard a lot of hype over this book, and even though I'm not really into young adult books, I decided to give this one a try.
I felt that this book was a bit too twee and cutesy for my liking. I believe that this is simply a case of not being part of the target demographic, as I'm sure this would have great appeal to those who are younger than myself. It's not a bad book, by any means, but the writing style just isn't my cup of tea.
As for the actual story, I did find it refreshing that it tackled its subject matter in a more unique way than other novels of a similar genre. It's more of a comedy, and much more straightforward. The characters seemed to be accepting their fate with more maturity.
I would recommend this to a younger subset, but I feel I'm a bit too old to fully appreciate its quirk.

I started reading these books when I was just a kid, maybe nine years old. I immediately fell in love with them! My mom and I would read them out loud together, and we would take turns doing the different voices and everything.
I would wait for each new book to come out like I was a kid waiting for dessert. Even as I got older, my love for the series did not abate, but rather grew. I would cry when a favourite character died, laugh when Harry got sassy, or gasp when something particularly surprising happened. Meeting a best friend who shared my love, and who watched all of the films with me, only cemented my Harry Potter experience as one that will remain a great memory for years to come.
If I ever have children, I will definitely share this series with them. They are simply some of the best books ever written. Even now at twenty-seven, I can truly say that magic does exist.

I have tried the lip butters in a few different flavours. This one is my favourite, but overall, I'm still not that impressed.
This has a nice mango scent. They seem to have toned it down from a previous formula, because I remember trying it a few years ago and it was a bit perfumey. Now it just smells like fruit.
The texture is smooth, but thin. I feel like I'm applying a lot, but it still feels more like a gloss no matter how much I put on. It doesn't moisturize my lips at all, instead just giving them a bit of shine. It doesn't stay on well enough throughout the day (or night) to feel like it's doing anything.
If you want a nice fruity lip gloss, this may be an option for you, but if you need moisture therapy, I would suggest trying a different product.

Coconut is one of my favourite scents. This has a very authentic coconut smell which is very light and refreshing. It leaves my hands smelling really nice.
This isn't a glycerin soap, but instead a creamy soap. It lathers just as well as their glycerin bar soaps, but I find that it does get a little bit mushy when it's wet. I'm rotating it in the dish to prevent either side from getting too bad, and so far that seems to be working just fine. I get the feeling that if I were using this in the shower, it would be getting much softer way faster.
I've only been using this soap for a couple of weeks, so I haven't noticed it getting much smaller yet. It's retaining its shape quite well and seems to be lasting well so far. It feels very nice on my hands and doesn't appear to be drying.

I use these as hand soaps in my washroom. I prefer these glycerin soaps because they last a long time and don't get mushy. Once they get much smaller, they will eventually harden, but it takes a long time before that happens, and I find that even then they're still usable.
I recommend this soap if you like the smell of strawberries and you want a good quality bar soap, for either a hand soap or a body soap in your shower. They lather well and smell great.

This soap lathers really well under the tap. If you're not using this as a hand soap but you're taking it in the shower, one thing I will say is that the lather seems to disappear into the skin fairly quickly, making you wonder if you've even washed that area. This seems to happen with all of their bar soaps.
This is a nice sized soap and will last a long time. It doesn't go mushy, like some soaps, but once it gets smaller it will go kind of hard. I feel like soaps tend to do one or the other.
These soaps often go on sale, so if you're a fan, you can stock up for a very good price.
