I am a huge fan of the original YSL Black Opium fragrance, so when I saw that a new variation of this scent was being released I was excited to give it a try.
I tend to gravitate towards warm and sweet scents when choosing a fragrance, so please keep this in mind during my review because that might not be your preference.
Upon trying out YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche fragrance, I was slightly reminded of the original, however this one is less musky and more floral. It has strong vanilla undertones, which I absolutely love and is my favorite scent, but you also get a subtle hint of fruitiness.
It is described as containing White Coffee (coffee with creamy notes of white musks), Vanilla, and Orange Blossom, which I think explains the softer smell.
As far as longevity goes, the staying power is definitely there! Only a few spray go a long way, but it is not overbearing at all.
The original Black Opium is a scent I usually reserve for wearing for nights out; I would say Black Opium Nuit Blanche is the daytime alternative of the original, I would definitely recommend it!

I would describe it as an oatmeal smell, which I wasn't too fond of. I had to take away one star for that. But the scent aside, I am a big fan of this shampoo and conditioner!! My hair is both color treated and heat styled and it felt so silky soft after using it just once. It definitely lives up to its name of "Intense Hydration" and works great! -

I do enjoy other Secret products, just not this one. -

They have a great scent which smells clean and isn't overbearing. They left my skin feeling refreshed, smooth, and cleansed, which are all musts when it comes to skincare. My skin tends to be more on the dry side and these left my skin feeling perfectly moisturized and clean. When I use these at night, they are perfect before the rest of my nightly skincare routine such as washing my face with a cleanser followed by moisturizing.I will totally be purchasing these once I run out! -

It is water-based and oil-free so it pairs perfectly with my go-to foundations at the moment: Too Faced Born This Way and Estée Lauder Double Wear which are also water-based and oil-free.
Often times people don't think that primer is important in their makeup routine, but it definitely is!
Primer creates a barrier between your skin and foundation. It will help with the longevity of your foundation and also help prevent your foundation from oxidizing while still allowing your skin to breathe.
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Light does all of this, plus it makes my skin feel flawless!!
