I was given the opportunity to try the Garnier Whole Blends Argan and Camellia Nourishing Shampoo Bar for free in exchange for my honest opinion of the product.
I've used a few different brands of shampoo bars in the past, so I was pretty excited to see how this one stacked up against those.. This shampoo bar isn't bad, I think it's a great starting point for those looking to start using a shampoo bar. It's easily accessible in big box stores and the price point is amazing!
I'm not really loving the smell of this bar though, it's very strong.. I've also noticed that the bar itself dried out a lot after first use. It was so dry that the bar started cracking. I feel long term this bar might break into a bunch of smaller pieces; eventually making it too hard to continue using..
It cleanses my hair well and it's easy to use. I like to lather up my hands and apply it to my scalp that way.
I don't think I'd buy this particular bar again just because I'm not keen on the scent, but other than that it's a pretty decent bar so far. If the bar doesn't break up I might try a different one.

I was given the opportunity to try out a sample of Degree Women's Black + White Antiperspirant Spray in exchange for my opinion of the product.
So, this was my first time ever using an antiperspirant spray! It went on dry with absolutely no marks whatsoever just as promised and it kept me dry all day. I really liked that I wasn't left with this slimy or sticky feeling in my underarm. The only downside for me is I'm not overly keen on the scent, it's reminiscent of a baby powder type scent. Aside from that, I really like it. I may buy an antiperspirant spray next time I need more, maybe there are other scents.

I was intrigued to see what a pressed night serum would be like and it's actually quite nice. This product is like a thick, smooth gel-cream type product. It feels amazing when smoothing it over your face and it leaves your skin feeling very soft and supple! The biggest downside is that it does have quite a strong scent, which isn't a deal breaker for me, but it can be for a lot. I quite enjoy the scent.
Overall, I am quite happy with this product and I love the way it feels so much that, yes, I'd probably buy this after I use this jar up. I'd say this is definitely worth a try.

The bottle is different, the dropper has a button to press that sucks up and dispenses the serum. I'm loving the colours of the packaging as well.
The serum itself is very lightweight and has a pleasant scent. It goes on very smooth and it soaks into my skin quickly. This is great addition to my skincare routine for a daily boost of hydration without feeling heavy or sticky.
All in all its a pretty decent serum and it's a great starting point that is easily available in many big box stores.

It's different. The garlic in it is pretty subtle, I think, when using it in cooking. If you take it on its own you can definitely taste it, so you wouldn't want to use it for like making lemonade, obviously lol .. I used this to make asparagus and it was nice. I think this will work well for our veggies and even our meats. I think it's worth a try, for sure!

I was chosen as part of a campaign to review the Benzagel After Care Moisturizing Lotion for free through Chick Advisor! The package finally came, better late than never!
For me, summertime skincare is super important because products that are too heavy will break me out like crazy, so lightweight products are essential! I've been using the after care lotion for about two weeks now and I have to say, I am loving how lightweight the formula is, how well it sinks into the skin and it appears to be helping my skin to stay hydrated. It hasn't broken me out either, so that's great.
It's quite pricey compared to what I normally use, but I would definitely buy this to use during the summer months just because of how lightweight it is and how well it performs.
I'm glad I was given the opportunity to try this out, I would absolutely recommend anyone who is looking for a lightweight Moisturizer to try this out!

I was chosen by Chick Advisor to try Mott's new Clamato Reserve for free in exchange for my honest opinion! It's got a nice flavour and it's quite tasty, very reminiscent of the spicy one. I really like that it's made with all natural ingredients and that they have the jalapenos in there to give it some kick! Taste wise, everything is on point! But I'm not sure I would replace my regular spicy clamato with this.
The ONLY reason being I purchased a party sized bottle of the spicy one on the same trip and it cost as much as the reserve. We like our clamato in this house and even the party sized ones go super fast! I'd buy this for special occasions, like if I'm having guests over for a meal or drinks.
I would recommend trying this, for sure. It's very tasty and would be a great choice for someone who only buys it occasionally or maybe you're just looking to go with more natural ingredients.. whatever the case, try it!

I bought this because I wanted to add an antioxidant to my skincare routine and I decided to start with The Ordinary's Pycnogenol. It is at a great price point coming in under $10. It does have a smaller bottle 15ML as opposed to the 30ML bottle most of their other products come in. You need very little. I actually found it easier to apply if I put a few drops into my Moisturizer before I put it on. I've been using this for about a month or two now and I am loving it! I've noticed that my skin looks brighter and more youthful since using this. It's the only new thing I've added to my existing skincare routine and I gotta say, I think it's here to stay, I am really loving the results. If you're looking to add an antioxidant to your routine, you should definitely give this one a try! -

COVID has everything shut down and my current shampoo bar was getting dangerously low and I really didn't want to go out and buy a bottle of shampoo, so I decided to try the Unwrapped Life hydrating shampoo bar because I could pick it up locally. It's really nice. The bar has a pleasant smell, but it isn't overwhelming and it lathers very well. My hair has been very soft since I started using it. I think I may start using this company. It costs more than Lush, but the quality is there, so it's worth the extra $$. Plus, this is a Canadian company and I like to support Canadian companies! -
