I use this product as a brow gel. The actual formula of the gel is great, it's just a standard gel. In my opinion, all brow gels work to hold the brows in place. However, my problem with this one is the packaging. I hate the packaging cause the stopper in the bottle is very ineffective, so I end up having a fully loaded spoolie with brow gel in it. It applies WAY too much gel which can end up ruining the brows I just did. This is easily fixable by just wiping the excess on the edge of the container before brushing into the brows, but that's a time waster in the morning. There are lots of other brow gels I find with better product amount control for an even better price. -

At one point in time, this was my all time favourite drugstore powder. But then I realized that it really wasn't doing much for me in keeping me matte. It kept me matte for 5 hrs or so, and then I would need to blot or touchup. I really can't be bothered to touchup in the middle of a school day. It is very finely milled, has a translucent finish, and makes the skin look airbrushed. While I do find it a little pricey for a drugstore powder, I do enjoy it more than the Rimmel Stay Matte because of how finely milled and non-cakey it is.
If you don't mind touching up, this would be a good powder to pick up. Personally, I'd recommend the Milani Multitasker Face Powder for people with oily skin.

I should've known that this foundation wouldn't work for me. I have oily skin, and this foundation has a dewy finish. A very dewy finish. I feel like it can look overly dewy, even for a person with dry skin, so powder is a must! With a touch of powder on the T-zone, it makes the skin look very glowy and healthy. However, this foundation fades off in about 4hrs for me, which is also when my skin goes from dewy to straight up oily looking.
I can understand why some dry skinned girls would like this foundation. However, I still feel like it is more suited for wearing for a particular event for a few hours. I don't think it would work well as a day to day foundation as it does not have good lasting power.
Do not purchase if you have oily skin.

Holy grail mascara. It's not a false-eyelash look, but it makes the lashes look longer and fuller for a more flirtatious look, perfect for every day. It never clumps and has amazing separation. It also does keep the lashes soft and not crunchy. Also very good at holding curls. Only downside for me is that it occasionally smudges onto my lower lid, but even then it's BARELY even noticeable. Awesome, awesome, awesome!
Note: This mascara has been discontinued in Canada, but is still sold in the States.

Wet n' Wild has the best drugstore formulations of eyeshadows in my opinion. This 8-pan palette is no exception. Buttery soft, highly pigmented, gorgeous shades. What else can I ask for? The 4 shadows on the left are neutral shades, while the right side are green toned (but still wearable!) shades. There's even a reddish brown to turquoise duochrome in this palette! The palette has all shimmery shades, except for the brown black and olive black colours. Those I would describe more as matte shades with glitter in them. I use the brown black to do my eyebrows everyday. Using an angled eyeliner brush, I brush off the excess powder and glitter on my hand, and then fill in my brows so that there will be no glitter-brow.
Two cons: fallout and packaging. There is a little fallout, not due to chalkiness, but due to the softness of the shadows. It's nothing to worry about as long as you pat the shadow instead of swiping in on the lid. The packaging isn't the best either, and i don't feel safe travelling with this palette considering the combination of poor packaging and soft shadows.
Nonetheless, a definite must!

Therefore, it can be difficult to remove. That's the only flaw. But with a little makeup remover, it's all good. You'll never have to worry about it smudging or running, that's for sure!
Note: I heard this has been discontinued for 2014, but I'm still seeing it in stock at my local Shoppers Drug Mart. Stock up while you can! Definitely don't pass this up.

This powder is by far the best I've ever tried. Being someone with oily skin, the mattifying properties of a powder are really important to me. I've tried the Rimmel Stay matte (although inexpensive, it wasn't as finely milled as I'd hoped) and the Maybelline Dream Matte (finely milled, but kept me oil free for only 5 hrs or so). Then I came across this Milani powder. It keeps me matte the entire day at school, and all through the night as well! I don't notice any shine until about 8 or 9 hrs into wear, and even then it's not noticeable enough for a touch up. It's very finely milled, soft, and high-end feeling. It can be used as a setting powder over foundation, or on good skin days, I can use it as a light to medium buildable coverage powder foundation.
I only have 2 complaints: accessibility and packaging. If you live in the States, accessibility shouldn't be a problem. Walgreens, CVS, most drugstores will carry it. However, I live in Canada, and Milani is not carried by many places, and where it is carried, it's not the full selection. The second thing I mentioned was packaging. It's just a little too bulky in my opinion.
All in all, definite holy grail!

This is a review for the ELF Studio Powder Blush in the colour Pink Passion.
COLOUR AND PIGMENTATION
As you can tell from the photos, this is a bright matte neon pink blush in the pan. It's so POW and in your face, but I guarantee that it's actually a lot more subtle on the face. On my hand, the right swatch is from two swipes of my finger, and the left swatch is also two swipes except blended out. When blended out, it's a really gorgeous subtle spring glow type of pink. The blush is fairly pigmented, though for me, I don't need to apply with a light hand all that much because I am more tan (about an NC 25-30). If you're a fair bit darker than me, you might not like this blush because it doesn't show up as much. For me, it shows up but it takes a bit more work than my beloved Wet N' Wild blush. Of course, if you're fair skinned then you should apply with a lighter hand.
PRICE
$3 at Target or on the eyeslipsface website. Amazing! And again, it is fairly pigmented so a little bit goes a long way (for fair skinned people at least), so it'll take a while to hit pan.
WEAR
This wears great throughout the day, around 6 hours including time where I play sports. On a day where I'm just indoors, it lasts over 8 hours for me. I'm not oily on my cheeks, for the record, so I'm not too sure about lasting time on the oily-cheeked fellows.
QUALITY
The quality is pretty good for drugstore, however it can be a tad powdery. It's not anything that you can't work with, but it's there. It's not as soft or velvety as my WnW blush, but again, it's not bad either.
PACKAGING
This packaging, I like. The whole Nars replica packaging gets an A in my book. Not to mention that it comes with a mirror and a little window so you can see the colour - handy! The packaging is sleek and sturdy, and it's not bulky, so it's definitely a blush to carry while travelling for me!
ACCESSIBILITY
I live in Canada, so I couldn't find this blush in stores anywhere. It can be bought online, however. In the US, Target is the place to buy it.
Recap:
Pros
Nice flush of colour
Nice matte finish, which I like!
Affordable
Will take a long time to use up
Pretty long wearing
Awesome packaging
Easily accessible in the US and from online
Cons
Won't show up on darker skin tones
A little powdery
Hard to find in Canada

Ladies, say hello to the best drugstore blush that you will ever encounter. It's the Wet N' Wild Color Icon blush in the colour 832E Heather Silk.
COLOUR & PIGMENTATION
It's a gorgeous matte pink with a slight mauve tone, making it super wearable for everyday. And this, my friends, I promise you, is the most pigmented blush you will ever use. The swatch on the right shown on my arm is just one gentle swipe of my index finger across the blush. And then to the left of that, is the colour blended out. A beauty, right? It's so pigmented, in fact, that I need only to tap my brush on the blush once, and then swipe it on my face. Warning: Apply with a light hand!
PRICE
I bought this for $4.99 at Superstore/Loblaws in Canada, but I know you can get it for only $2.99 in the US! Nonetheless, under $5 for a blush like this is definitely a steal. It could be sold for a highend price with the quality. And as I mentioned above, this thing is uber pigmented, so the product will last a long time.
WEAR
The wear time isn't as good as something like the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12H blushes, but it will wear throughout my school day, which is good enough for me. Holding up for 6 hours during which I have PE class and track, I'd say is a considerable feat.
QUALITY
Super soft, rich, and velvety. Not powdery or chalky. What else can I ask for?
PACKAGING
Now this is the only downfall for me. The blush comes with a section at the bottom holding a blush brush, which is awful. It is scratchy and just not good for anything. I really could do without that entire section, which would cut off half of the packaging. But then again, for $4.99, I'll keep my mouth shut.
So as a recap:
Pros
Nice colour and finish
Pigmented like whoa!
Affordable
One pan will last a long time
Wears for a decent time
Soft formula, not powdery
Cons
You got to remember to apply with a light hand
Packaging is a little bulky
