When I found out that the Face Shop collaborated with AVON on some of their products, I was so ecstatic. I had my eye on their “Rice Water Bright Foaming Cleanser” for quite some time. What I didn’t know was that when I received my cleanser from the Avon rep that I normally deal with was that this cleanser is 300 ml. Wow!!! For $15 cdn that’s an amazing deal. Normally cleansers I use are about 150 ml and you only need a pea sized amount for a good lather. This one works the same if not better.
I first tried this cleanser when I received a bunch of foil samples when I usually order online from Jolse Cosmetics. I instantly fell in love with it!!! It foams up quickly and once you rinse it off it leaves your face feeling amazing, not tight or dry like some cleansers do. I have dry combination skin so it never irritated and never broke out my skin either. Some cleansers sting leaving your eyes burning but this one doesn’t. My skin is left soft, smooth, and well hydrated. I think this would be perfectly suitable and for all skin types. It’s the perfect cleanser for your winter regimen.

I received this product from Kalaya, “6x Pain Relief” for free to try out. I use these muscle creams quite heavily due to the nature of my job. Working in the library, we are exposed to a lot of repetitive movement and being stationed at the computer for most of the day. By the end of the day my muscles are quite tense and sore.
This cream contains Arnica, and is supposed to be great for its anti-inflammatory properties. I try to avoid over-the-counter medications as much as I can because of side effects. I find the cooling sensation of the menthol in the cream quite helpful in loosening any tight muscles I may have. For those who are sensitive to scents, it can be quite overpowering, but I love it! Although I have a minor back injury, I felt it worked better for my sore neck and shoulders, forearms and calves.
A little goes a long way. The greasy feel of this thick cream is helpful with self-massage but then quickly absorbs into the skin nicely without any greasy feel afterwards. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly afterwards as you don’t want any product near your eyes.
In a travel-friendly squeeze tube, it's great as carry in your bag item for that anytime emergency muscle soreness purpose from stiffness in your neck, or soreness from working out at the gym.

It’s awesome that Elf Cosmetics came out with an affordable skincare line that is also physically pleasing to the eye wiyh its packaging. I’ve been using the “Hydrating Water Essence” for maybe a couple of months now and I really like it. With a very generous amount of 150 ml, it’s housed in this tall, beautiful frosted glass-like plastic bottle. It has a refreshing scent that reminds me of an Island breeze with this thin, water-like slippery consistency that acts like a toner.

With wonderful ingredients like glycerin, niacinamide, coffee extract, and coconut water, this product layers beautifully. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin or feel sticky afterwards. I use this in AM and PM skincare routine as a second/third step after cleansing. Though there are no other added benefits to this essence, other than providing the skin with some good moisture, still love the product nonetheless. I’ve already ordered a second bottle.

I received this box of "ARM & HAMMER Cloud Control Clumping Cat Litter" for free. The entire contents of the box of 6.35 kg(14lbs) fits exactly into the litter box and unbelievable, as we poured it out, there was no dust cloud. Most formulas out there have this heavy cloud of dust and who knows what allergens you're breathing in as a cat and as the owner scooping up their business especially the fact that we also have a small child at home - definitely don't like those cloud of nasties! The scent of this litter, was light like most litters are. The colour of the litter is grey and appears the same as all clay litters but with one noticeable difference - the texture was quite fine like that of sand and it felt very soft. Usually when my cat goes into the litter box, litter often spills outside and everywhere.
With this particular litter, there isn't much tracking like most. As with most clumping formulas, they tend to fall apart under the pressure of the scooper but not this one. The clump stays intact and little bits don't fly everywhere in the box as your scooping. My cat tends to pee in the corner, in the same spot every single time and the litter doesn't stick to the edges of the box like previous litters formulas. We didn't notice any odours either and it stayed fresh and clean for quite some time. Thank you Familyrated and Arm and Hammer for introducing us to this life changing formula for our cat!
This litter totally blew our minds and did what it claimed! So impressed that it is 100% dust-free, stays clumped, and free of odours. Chester's happy, we're happy!

I received this product for free. This “Hadaka Buttercup Marula Butter Cream in Citrus” is absolutely delightful. It contains moisturizing and nourishing ingredients like Marula Oil, Shea Butter, and Vitamin E and is light and airy to the touch. Even though this cream is considered non-greasy, it does have a greasy and slippery texture to it when first applied to the skin.
However, this fluffy, white cloud of whipped cream quickly absorbs leaving you super hydrated while adding a nice light sheen to your skin. My favourite part about this cream is the light, lingering citrusy scent that reminds me of the yummy, summery flavour of creamsicle ice cream. It has now become one of my staple body creams and my favourite indulgent skintreats.

I found my smoothie easily at Longos. It has a thick creamy texture and tastes like tart peach yogurt and is absolutely delicious!!! We can't get enough!! Now we're curious about the other two flavors of Field Berry and Strawberry Beet. It’s very refreshing like a drinkable yogurt. It’s completely all natural and quite filling.
I find eating yogurt difficult at times so this being drinkable makes for a perfect on the go snack or a post-workout drink and it's packed with 10g of protein. Perfect to satisfy any hunger pangs or cravings!!!

I received this product for free. This product was not easy to find. I found the very last bottle of this protein smoothie at one of the big supercentres. Only "Creamy Vanilla" was available. It has a thick, creamy texture and tastes like a cross between cashew milk and soy milk. What a refreshing vanilla taste I must say!!! I was really surprised by how great it tastes. It's amazing that it's all completely made of natural ingredients. Absolutely love it!!! I obtained this product free for review and let me tell you, I would definitely buy this again and again. If this particular product was easy to find, I would definitely switch over to this particular protein drink. It's quite filling and makes for a great snack especially after my workouts at the gym. -

I've used AOR products before, namely "Bone Basics" and absolutely can't live without this supplement. However, with any sleep aid, it shouldn't be used over the long run and should be used with caution. I found that if I had many thoughts running through my head and having the stressful feeling, this calming effect did not help. It made me feel like I was having heart palpitations. This product works best as a sleep aid if you have nothing on your mind and are ready for sleep. I slept pretty soundly and I still ended up waking up at night, I was able to fall back asleep immediately. I felt slightly groggy in the morning but not like those over the counter sleep aids I used in the past.
I definitely will reach for this product in the future on days where I feel my body needs that extra need of sleep.

I received this product for free. At first glance, you don’t think anything of this scrub but wow, it totally blew me away with what it can really do. I liked how it’s encased in this tiny but heavy, glass jar. When you open it, the consistency looks quite thick and sticky looking but isn't sticky at all. The smell is amazing, like dark chocolate coffee syrup(good enough to eat, but I didn't) . The application is pretty easy and you don’t need a whole lot. Make sure not to get it too close to your eyes as there are little granules in this scrub that could irritate your eyes.
Immediately after applying, you’ll notice this amazing, warming sensation that spreads all over your face. The blend of sugars, coffee, oils felt so luscious against the skin. Use gentle circular motions around your face since the instructions say to use it on dry skin. If you do use it on damp skin or wet skin, it's not as effective because the sugar crystals would have dissolved leaving only the coffee grounds behind as an exfoliant. I'm glad that the blend of sweet almond and coconut oils help it be less abrasive. Rinses well with water revealing baby soft skin. My skin felt cleaner and smoother in just one use. It was perfectly fine for my sensitive skin.
I’ve used this scrub, three times now and I love it so much! I had really rough textured skin between my eyebrows and now it feels so much smoother. I’ve used Loreal’s Pure Clay Face Masks in the past but I never stopped to try their scrubs. I’m going to have to check out their line of scrubs to see what else I can try. For what you are getting at drugstore prices - A definitely diamond in the rough!

I received this product for free. It has been a total definite game-changer for me because it's absolutely gentle and excellent at removing impurities leaving your skin amazingly fresh-looking! In a squeeze tube, this mask is opaque in colour and has a gel-like creamy texture to it. When applied, it goes on smoothly and spreads on quite evenly. It has these enzyme powder beads that burst into this white hydrating mask as you continuing rubbing it in circular motions on your face. It feels quite similar to the texture of a lotion.
Those sensitive to scents beware this mask is heavily scented. Although it is quite florally fragranced for my liking, I'm not bothered by it. You only need to leave this mask on for 5 minutes. I never felt any tightness or stinging that is usually attached to face masks or face peels nor did it cause me any sort of redness or irritation. It's amazing that this mask has exfoliating capabilities because it never once felt harsh on my skin. Once you started rinsing, it felt like I was using a foaming cleanser.
The results were astounding. My face felt so pump, very well-hydrated and soft right afterwards. I also noticed the brightness immediately in my face after just one use. The downside of this product is the price, at whopping $82 cdn for 80ml, which is pretty steep for a face mask but I think it's so well worth it as you only need a dime-sized amount 1-2 times a week and it feels so luxurious on the skin and is my personal favourite skintreat!!
