I received this product for free. This serum has a very liquidy texture and is very lightweight indeed. The scent smells like bitter orange rind but disappears after application. One pump is all you need. Because it is quite liquidy it spreads quite well and evenly over the face and neck. In terms of application, it goes on a bit sticky at first but dries down nicely. Absorbs quickly onto the skin. It's very good price for a Vitamin C serum averaging about $30 cdn for 60ml.
I’ve been using this serum for almost two month now. It definitely has brightened my skin and is very hydrating due to the hyaluronic acid in the formula. It also says to apply twice daily but I started with applying to my face once daily to start with as it claims to be a high potency formula. Those with sensitive skin beware, I’ve noticed in the beginning that I developed some blotchy redness on my cheeks which means that this serum definitely must have a higher than average Vitamin C percentage content in its formula. I’m glad, however, that it never broke me out and the redness has now subsided a bit. I might have to switch to nighttime use only and see if it makes a difference in the redness in the morning.
I don't know about helping diminish fine lines and wrinkles because any serum that contains active ingredients, like Vitamin C would take much longer to see the results. So keep at it! Vitamin C, though, is very, very good for your skin. Not only is it an anti-oxidant but it is also very good at repairing sun damage and shielding you from any future damage to the skin.

I received this product as a gift. I absolutely love this facial oil and there isn't anything I don't like about it. It's very lightweight and absorbs very easily into the skin. It never feels greasy or heavy at all. I like to use it right after my serums but before my heavier moisturizers. All you need is about 2 drops into a gel-like moisturizer, like an aloe vera gel just to help the oil spread more evenly into the skin. This oil helped the eczema I had around my eyes. Your skin simply feels more hydrated and locks in that needed moisture. The perfect anti-aging facial oil that makes your skin glow and to add into your anti-aging skincare routine!! -

I first received a sample of this Essence from my Biotherm order and I loved it so much I bought the full-sized bottleI I've been using it religiously for about a month or so and I've got to say how much I love it! It's very lightweight. It ever doesn't feel greasy or heavy. It's never sticky or dries out your skin. It has a thin slippery and watery texture that goes on smooth. I love that it smells like the ocean. This essence absorbs easily into the skin and gives the skin a nice sheen. I love that it plumps up the skin so quickly after application. I love that it leaves my skin hydrated as the first step after cleansing. Definitely feel the benefits of those nutrients going into the skin. Love this product! -

I originally received this product for free and it very soon became one of my skincare empties. I loved it so much I had to buy it again! This anti aging cream is an extremely lightweight moisturizer. With a light, fresh, floral scent that almost smells like lilies of the valley. Don’t be fooled by its watery gel like consistency, it really packs a punch! As it melts into your skin, it absorbs quickly and nicely. Not greasy at all and is quite hydrating. Skin feels soft and smooth to the touch.I use this moisturizer every morning. You only need about a dime size and then lightly massage into skin. I feel moisturized all day and my skin did not become dry at all.A jar of this size lasts you about 5 months and I have seen a difference in appearance of my skin. My skin feels more plump and radiant looking. I love lightweight moisturizers like this one because they never feel too heavy or sticky. I highly recommend this cream because it's the perfect anti-aging cream to be added to your daily skincare regimen!!! -

I received this box of 24 gel caps - “Tylenol Rapid Release Gels” for free from FamilyRated. Each gel cap contained 500 mg of Acetaminophen - extra strength dosage. The texture of this capsule feels like hard plastic not similar to any liquid gel I've tried before. The dosage is one capsule every 4 hours but not to exceed maximum dosage of course, but pain persists then take 2 capsules after 4 hours. There were these little laser drilled holes that release the medicine immediately. I would say in a matter of minutes any minor pain that you have will dissipate. I liked that these capsules were small enough they were easy to swallow unlike other gelcaps. You can also take it on an empty stomach and it didn't really bother my stomach all that much either. Multivitamins bother my stomach more so than this did especially on an empty stomach.
I had tested this product on several occasions. Because of the barometric pressure, it worked very well even on my worse headaches but unfortunately the effects of that one capsule was short-lived and only lasted about 1 and 1/2 hours. It worked effectively on my menstrual cramps and they weren't very mild cramps either. I recently had gum treatment done at the dentist too and had sore gums for a bit and it help subside my dull toothache. What I liked most about these rapid release gels is that they were fast acting...literally. Very convenient on days when you just need that extra bit of help to get through it all.

I received this free jar(295ml) of the "Classic Mayonnaise" from Chickadvisor for test and review. It's an incredible, simple mayonnaise with a lot of flavour. This mayo certainly tastes different from your typical mayonnaise. It has a smooth creamy, light texture like that of a yogurt. Mixed with flavourful seasonings, this mayo has a bit of tang and saltiness to its taste. I made my typical Avocado Egg Salad, Grilled Cheese, and Classic BLT sandwiches with this bold, flavourful mayonnaise and it actually made them taste so much better. Even my husband noticed there was that 'something something' that was different than the usual sandwiches that I made. It contains the simplest of ingredients like: sunflower oil, egg yolks, water, lemon juice, salt, white vinegar, sugar, ground mustard seed, black pepper, citric acid. What could be better than that! Need I say more! -

I received this “Absolutely Ageless Pretox Peel-Off Mask” for free from Chickadvisor for test and review. In a squeeze tube, this mask is lavender-coloured.It has a fresh scent of sweet berries, with very thick cream-like texture and a sticky feel to it. As you apply it to your skin, it starts to thin into a gel-like consistency and dries down to an almost transparent egg wash on your face. Face no longer feels sticky but slightly tight. Avoid any product on your hairline, eye area and eyebrows. Leave on for 15-20 minutes. Easy to remove if you've applied a thick layer. Any remaining residue can be wiped off with a damp towel.
Afterwards your skin feels much cleaner, softer, fresher, and healthier. It even has this light glow to it. Even though it has AHAs (exfoliants) in this product, it's gentle enough on my sensitive skin. I've used this product a few times now and it's never caused me any redness or irritation. Although it doesn't mention it but try using this mask only at night and make sure to wear sunscreen during the day as AHAs can make your skin feel more sensitive so protect it.
I feel like our skin is ever changing as we age and I’m glad that there is anti-aging skincare products on the market like these face masks. It’s great that companies like Aveeno have increased their broad range of products to suit everyone’s skincare needs. I definitely enjoyed incorporating this new product into my weekly skincare routine and will continue to do so.

I received the "Mott's Fruitsations + Fibre" for free from FamilyRated Club for test and review. It's great that companies like Mott's are in partnership with the Breakfast Club of Canada helping feed kids across Canada so hunger doesn't impact on their learning first thing in the morning. These pureed fruit snacks have always been a staple in my household. They are compact enough that makes it perfect for snacktime and lunches at school. My daughter absolutely loves them because they are delicious and easy to eat. They are also a life-saver for when your child is sick at home with the flu or cold, like my child was this week - hit with the stomach flu and had to stay home for the rest of week. These pureed snacks allow them some nourishment when they don't feel like eating all that much and it's something substantial in their tummies.
I think these pureed snacks are also a perfect way to get those fruit/veggies servings(they have ones with a veggie mix too!). Sometimes even the pickiest eater will find these very enjoyable. We love that there are no added sugars in this product because let's face it, there is so much sugar and sodium in most products that we purchase from supermarket shelves and products like these help us make better choices. Having those options available to the health conscious consumer is a plus in my books! Thank you so much Motts!

I received this product from Chickadvisor for free for test and review. Over the past couple of years I have noticed that my skin has become progressively drier especially in our harsh Canadian winter months. Our skin also becomes progressively rougher as we age. The product is an ointment with a unique silicone applicator tip. As you squeeze the product out from the tube, an almost gel-like consistency comes out almost resembling that of petroleum jelly and when you look at what the ingredient list entails, it contains 54% petrolatum, a petroleum product. This ointment is non-scented, it’s quite sticky and feels slightly heavy on the skin. It doesn’t absorb quite as easily as the Aveeno Cica balm from the Cracked Skin Relief line but this cream just sits on top of your skin. However, it does feel like this protective seal / barrier has formed onto your skin.
Even though my daughter wore gloves when it was frigid outside, she developed dry, chapped hands that hurt to the touch especially the area where it looked like a reddish scrape. This ointment gave her the relief she needed. It also worked for my husband and my dry, cracked skin around the knuckles and in-between the fingers where it connects to our hands. It definitely helped lock in that moisture even after several hand-washes. I would call this a life-saving, healing ointment for dry skin sufferers!

I received this product from Chickadvisor for free for test and review. Over the past couple of years I have noticed that my skin has become progressively drier especially during in the winter months. As we age, our skin doesn’t produce as much moisturizing agents as it used to so this is usually why the top layers of our skin are significantly drier. This unscented balm has been so helpful at locking in that moisture in my skin. It has this thick, nourishing consistency that feels like it’s forming some sort of barrier onto your skin. As you rub it in, this slippery texture, like silicone, absorbs quite nicely into the skin. It never feels too heavy or greasy. I like to use this cream right after a bath or shower when your pores are already open and easier to absorb products better. My husband and 8 year old daughter absolutely loved the nourishment that was provided by this cream.
When you look at the ingredient list, the first ingredient is glycerin. It explains why this cream is so effective at hydrating my skin. Glycerin is a very effective moisturizer for the skin. It is a humectant that attracts water from the air and helps locks in that moisture into your skin. It also helps our skin stay smooth and supple. I know my skin feels incredibly soft afterwards. As a child I grew up with Aveeno products, and over the years I experimented with new products from other companies but I often find myself going back to Aveeno.
