With the recent launch of Voilà by Sobeys, an online grocery delivery service, I was anxious to give it a go and was extremely happy when I was selected by Chickadvisor for the campaign. I was given an e-voucher for $25 off my order of a $100 to try out this service. I find there are times with my busy schedule with work, family, and running errands that I don't always find the time to get to a store, so online shopping seems like the perfect alternative. Now, I recently got sick and wasn't able to get out to get the groceries so this worked out perfectly to have them delivered. The website was super easy to navigate and I absolutely love their store brand 'Compliments" products. The prices weren't much more expensive than my regular supermarket Food Basics. You just have to know how to shop. With my discount, taxes, plus $7.99 delivery fee, it came up to just over $105 for all this stuff (40 items). I was even able to snag a free sample of a 1.75L carton of OJ!!! Woohoo!! Checkout was a breeze, input your personal info, select a delivery time, pay by debit/credit, and voilà you're done! Initially I had a problem getting a few fresh produce but throughout the day you were able to edit your order before a certain deadline and I was to snag them for delivery before the cut off.
The delivery itself was smooth sailing. I received a call during my window time from the driver that he'd be here in the next 5-10 minutes and he was. He was very courteous and friendly, and explained everything to me as it was my first time getting this type of delivery. He ensured me that everything that I ordered was placed into the bags and even had the bags marked so I knew which ones needed to be refrigerated pronto. Nothing was missing from my order and everything looked amazingly fresh and delicious! Thank you Voilà by Sobey's and Chickadvisor for introducing me this awesome service to me! I'll definitely be using this service again for my time crunched weeks!!!

I love that these hair masks have several possible uses: A hair mask, as a conditioner, or as a leave-in treatment, you decide. It’s brilliant. I often use this one as a leave-in treatment because my hair is so dry and damaged through bleaching and excessive dying. If you want some nourishment in your hair, I totally recommend this product for that. It smells great and my hair feels noticeably soft afterwards and doesn’t feel weighed down by it either. It’s also great that it’s 98% derived from natural ingredients. Formula is 94% biodegradable and 100% vegan with no silicones, parabens, or artificial colorants. -

Over time the products that we specifically use to clean, nourish, or style our hair no longer hold up to their effectiveness at doing their job properly. They can no long penetrate into the hair shaft and also because of environmental stressors, styling build up, and product buildup, it leaves our hair dull, lifeless, and unmanageable. I recently bleached and permanently dyed my hair so I new my products to work their magic at protecting my hair from further damage by conditioning it. This hair mask "Detox and Repair" by John Frieda is rich in green tea and avocado oil that help target our dry, damaged tresses. It's designed to remove that build up from our hair to reveal shiny, healthy hair. This mask is quite thick in texture but those who are sensitive to scents, this product is quite perfumey. It's not overpowering but still nonetheless quite heavily scented but once rinsed away there's just a smell of freshness.
I've used this hair mask a few times already and I absolutely adore it! According to the package instructions, I left the product in for 3-5 minutes and it felt like it coated every strand beautifully. Once I rinsed the product out, my hair felt noticeably softer, smoother, nourished, and alive. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I'm a lover of Garnier hair masks and thought I'd give this one a try because it was supposed to be good to help maintain a healthy scalp and help bring life and shine back to the hair. After shampooing just leave-in for 3 minutes. I have dry damaged hair due to bleaching and dying so I left it in for an hour. I thought it was pretty good over all. My hair felt nourished and felt that there was a bounce in my hair for sure. The only draw back about this product I found was the scent. It has an overpowering perfumey scent that I could do without. There was nothing about this product that really "wowed" me that any other conditioner couldn't have done so it wasn't my favourite product from Garnier. However, Garnier does have an amazing line of hair masks, you just have to find the right one for your haircare needs. -

First off, I absolutely love body butters! This is one of the best body butters I’ve ever tried. I’m obsessed with the scent of this cream, it smells like almond buttercream pistachios. This product is housed in a big tub that you can easily scoop out so there's zero waste. I found it worked best in the winter months to keep dry skin at bay because it's so thick in texture. It absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling too heavy or leaving the skin sticky. It does, however feel tacky at first probably because of its rich properties. Your skin feels well taken care of and ultra-nourished. -

My favourite part of this soup is the chunks of creamy mushroom. I often use this for cooking in a lot of different dishes like as a pasta sauce or a creamy chicken bake. Add a bit of cooked rice for a more filling soup for lunch or dinner and a pinch of ground pepper. Yum! -
