It is a mild and gentle shampoo bar that lathers and spreads easily onto the scalp. There was no irritation or any unwanted effects noted. What I like about it is being more natural than chemical-based. It surely is safe to use because of the harsh-free ingredients. It doesn't have a strong smell at all. The only downside I experience with its use is that my hair doesn't get soft and silky after use. It needs a conditioner in order to make it smoother. Nevertheless, I don't find it as a nuisance. I still highly recommend the product.    -
