If you're going here for food, they usually only have three specials, which would not be a problem except that what I wanted (I was vegetarian at the time, and it was the only thing vegetarian they had) was sold out! Thankfully, my friend who had ordered the same thing before me said I could have it.
So first, the food took forever to arrive even though we were the only people there. Second, the service was horrible - I think there was one person, maybe two, working, and they kept disappearing - we were waiting about two hours for our bill. Third, when we finally got our bill and paid, the girl actually said to my friend "what, no tip?" even though the 'service' had been absolutely appalling!
If you can go ANYWHERE else, do it! This place is definitely not worth it!

They have so many amazing colours, it's a feast for the eyes. The shadows go on really well, and the people working there are incredibly helpful - the girl that helped me out applied the shadow for me, showed me exactly how to do it, and then drew me a diagram so that I wouldn't forget. Right now I'm just using the neutral colours (shroom, satin taupe, and all that glitters) but I plan on going back to buy more in the near future. Their eyeshadow brushes are also great - worth every penny!

I used to work in the Yonge/Eglinton area, and found that if I ordered one of the combo plates (i.e. with soup, salad, tofu, vegetables, sushi, rice, etc.) that there would be enough food to last me for two meals - all for under $10!
Ho Su is definitely a must visit.

I completely agree with artist. In fact, I was at the restaurant with her when she had that terrible experience. At first the waitress was really nice and patient (another friend we went with has a lot of food allergies), checking with the kitchen to make sure she'd be able to eat what she was ordering. However, towards the end she completely ignored us. She would come into the area where our table was, go around to every table asking how everyone was doing, and skipped ours everytime. One time one of us even went and stood right in front of her and she just walked away.
Aside from a getting a bad server, the food was not that impressive either. I ordered pasta, it was about $15 and was not that good - I could have made it myself at home and it would have tasted much better and been ten times cheaper.
If you can go anywhere else, do it. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
