What I like about it:
Even without the primer and with only one coat of mascara, my eyelashes seem more prominent compared to my clean lashes. It lengthen my lashes a bit althought it's nothing too dramatic and seemed to hold the curl pretty well. With two coats of mascara, my lashes looks even better because it's thicker and has defined my lashes really well. I also like how it doesn't come out with too much goop on the mascara wand unlike some mascaras do. It just has enough to coat your lashes which prevents the clumping.
What I don't like about it:
It doesn't really volumnize your lashes. Don't expect killer flutters with this mascara. It wouldn't be my go to mascara for a night out since it only defines whatever lashes you have. The primer seemed pretty unnecessary to achieve defined lashes. If anything, the primer just weighs down the curl. I find that I rarely use the primer side of the of this mascara duo. Also, after two coats of the mascara with the primer, my lashes has a tendancy of clumping afterwards.
Overall:
I probably won't repurchase this again. Since I'm not a big fan of the primer that it comes with, I can't justify just buying the mascara for $12.60 that it retailed for (and that's already the sale price) solely for the mascara end of the tube. The mascara is pretty mediocre that you can probably get same results, if not, better from drugstore brands. The only reason I picked it up is because I was a bit intrigued and decided to try it out. Now that I have, I'm very much happy to let it go.

What I like about it:
The eyeshadows not only the colors are perfectly paired-up and pretty, they are also increadibly pigmented. The swatches you're looking at are applied once WITHOUT a base. It shows up in one swipe. The eyeshadows didn't feel chalky, but it was soft like butter! The texture actually reminded me of Veluxe Pearl eyeshadows from MAC. All colors are also wearable whether it be by day or night. Use the lighter side for everyday looks, and by night smoke it up with the darker side. The glitters or reflects on the darker side are not chunky or insanely glittery. It's just enough to complement its partnering color. The eyeshadows also blended really well and easily. And what's not to like about the price? For $7-8 a pop, you get two eyeshadows! It's even better with the BOGOF deal (all 4 shadows equaling ONE MAC eyeshadow)!
Oh, and as someone has pointed out, the deep plum shade in the Sculpted duo is a dupe for MAC's Beauty Mark. That's one eyeshadow less you have to get from MAC and at a cheaper price.
What I don't like about it:
You can't depot it :(. I like my eyeshadows depotted, but that's just my personal preference. Very limited color selection since there are only five eyeshadow duos available. I had some trouble opening the packaging, but that's some minor detail. Other than that, I can't think of any!
Overall:
I will definitely purchase more on this line if more colors become available! It's probably my favorite drugstore makeup right now because of it's quality and price.

What I like about it: It made my hair soft and silky. One pump, and your hair has transformed into fabulous! I couldn't stop running my fingers through my hair after putting this on. It didn't weigh my hair down unlike some serums, and it didn't leave my hair as if it's been doused in grease. It gave me the shine that I needed, and managed the frizzies. It's even better after blowdrying or straightening your hair.
What I didn't like about it: The SMELL! The smell smells!! I couldn't stand it. Because I loved how the product made my hair look and feel, I just dealt with the smell in the beginning. The smell never really faded away in time. I thought it wasn't that bad until my dad had mention something. I mean I noticed it too, but I didn't think it was that bad. I just hate how the product smells like an old, musty man and tiger balm (you know that Asian ointment). I even got complaints in our house to stop using whatever I was using because the smell was unpleasant. I'm really particular about the smell that goes into my hair because people do get a whiff of whatever hair products I have on. And another bad thing was, you can prolly finish the bottle in a month. The picture shown above was after 3-4 uses only! And it doesn't help that the small bottle doesn't come cheap. Not too practical
Overall: I probably won't purchase this again. Not only it's expensive, the smell is just really bad. Although I really like the results, I'm just really turned-off by the fact that it smells like tiger balm. It's not worth the trouble for me. Maybe if they change the smell then I would consider getting it again. I'm just not down smelling like an old man.

I wish I can say the same and give this mascara a good review. But this masacara was just ok. It does the job, sorta. It's not something I would repurchase again. It just bothers me how when you pull out the wand out of the tube... all this extra goop comes out. It also makes my lashes a bit clumpy after two coats and it weighs curls down. -

The mascara wand had the newer plastic ones and not your traditional wands with the bristles. The mascara did lengthen my eyelashes a bit after the first coating, but the second coating only weighed my lashes down. The bristles also does a poor job in separating the lashes nicely therefore it clumped my lashes as seen in the pictures. And the one thing I hated about it was it took longer for me to use since I have to bust out my eyelash comb. I never had to use that until now. And even with the comb, it didn't really help out with clumping since the mascara really dries quickly and really hardends your lashes causing it to become a bit brittle which is more prone to breaking. Also, as the day went on, flakes started to fall on the corner of my eye making me tear a bit. The mascara also lacks to hold the curl. I personally didn't like how my lashes looked after application. It looked very fake to me and it does seem that you slathered on ten coats of mascara when in fact it was only two. So this one is a no go for me. -

What I like about the product:
It's a great mask for a cheap price. For less than $4, you're doing your face a big favor (mainly if your oily/combination/acne-prone). Your face really feels refreshed and clean afterwards. It really dries up my pimple like what it claim it does. See, I get these monsterous pimples once in a while. They're red and angry, but after using this, my pimples have been reduced in size. Please don't expect a miracle that it'll completely vanish it, but by using this, I found that it reduces my chances of getting acne scars where the blemish is and redness. Also, you will definitely feel your pores tightening after slapping this on. I only use this once or twice a week, depending on how my skin feels. If I know there's a pimple waiting to happen, I slather this thing on my face and I know it'll work its magic. The blackheads in my nose are also gone thanks to this product. It's very easy to use. Put it on after cleansing your face, and then leave it on for a few minutes while doing other things and rinse it after the mask hardens. And you're left with a soft, smooth, and glowing face.
What I didn't like about the product:
Because the masque comes in a tube, sometimes I have difficulties getting the product out. The masque smells like toothpaste, so sometimes I feel I have toothpaste on my face. I probably wouldn't recommend this for people with dry skin since it might get too drying. The packaging could be better, and it can make people iffy because of its appearance. Since the mask is minty, people with sensitive skin might not like the tingling sensation or how it feels when the mask hardens (your pores will feel really tight). I didn't really experience any burning sensation after using this product, but I've read that some people have.
Overall:
This product has become a staple item in my skin routine. It definitely delivers great results and very affordable.

What I like about this product:
First of all, I haven't really broken out since I started using this as my moisturizer even if it's that "time of the month" which is a plus since I'm acne-prone. And for the readers that have been reading my blog, ya'll know that I'm acne-prone and I usually get enormous, red, cystic pimples when they do decide to come out. Anyway, I initially bought this product to replace my Philosophy Hope in a Jar Moisturizer. Although Hope in a Jar worked out for me (and I loved it), I wasn't willing to shell out $40 for every time my jar runs empty and because I know there are cheaper alternatives out there that work just as well or maybe even better. And I'm so glad I found this product because it's such a huge savings for my dear pockets. Another good thing about this product is it's all natural. No chemicals, additives, or parabens. It's 100% pure Jojoba oil. So it's only the good stuff that's going on your face.
You also only need about 2-3 drops to moisturize (anything more than that can make your face look oily), so the 4 oz bottle will last you a long time. This product also some how manages to control oil on my face keeping it oil-slick free at the end of my long day.
What I don't like about this product:
The packaging could be better if it came in a bottle with a dropper. Since the product is in bottle with a pop-up cap, you might end up with more product in your hand than you hoped for. And if you put on a lot on your face, it will look too oily. It also has a slow drying time, so you might need a blow dryer to speed up the process if you're in a hurry. And for the people will oily lids, it will make your lids oilier! So try to avoid applying it around that area to prevent your eyeshadows from creasing if you do decide to use it.
Overall:
I think Desert Essence is a great product especially for summer. It's a light moisturizer and it won't clog your pores because it sinks through your skin; however the oil will require some drying time. It definitely has helped improved my skin that I rarely find the need to wear foundation at all. For those who might be skeptical in using this as their daytime moisturizer, try it out at night first for the whole week.

What I liked about it:
It actually works! It really keeps your eyelids from being an oilslick at the end of the day. I've tried L'Oreal De-Crease as a base at one point in my life only to have it end up as an epic fail! I normally opt for my MAC paint pots as a base for my eyeshadow or just a base to help my eyeliner stay put and prevent it from creasing (meaning preventing your black eyeliner to some how find its way to travel up to your crease). However, due to the sweltering heat we're experiencing in California, my usual MAC paint pots by itself are currently no good. So I opted to try for another base which can save my eye makeup from fading or creasing and has led me to try this awesome product. What's also good about the Too Faced Shadow Insurance is it dries up transparent in your eyelids and instantly. There's really no drying-time unlike the L'Oreal De-crease which took forever to sink into my skin. Another good thing about it is it lasts for a really long time. The product packaging is also better than UDPP and L'Oreal De-Crease since it doesn't use a wand to get the product out. It comes in a squeeze tube so nothing really goes in the product, just out keeping bacteria away. And there's also no need for you to break into the tube and then storing it in another container just to get all your money's worth.
What I don't like about it:
When I directly put eyeshadow on top of the Shadow Insurance, I actually had a bit of a hard time blending my eyeshadows. But that can be fixed by layering your Too Faced Shadow Insurance with cream-based product you have available such as MAC paint pots for better blending. It is also more expensive than UDPP by a couple of bucks which can turn-off some people into buying it. Although the packaging seemed to be more sanitary compared to other eyeprimers, the tube can go through possible, unexpected mishaps such as squeezing the tube too hard causing too much product than you orignally intent or worse, accidently puncturing the tube with something sharp in your makeup bag. Other than that, I can't think of anything else bad about it.
Will I buy it again?:
Most definitely! Although I haven't really tried UDPP (so I can't say much about that), I just don't believe in using a wand to apply my eyeprimer or breaking through the packaging so I just feel that I'm not getting ripped off. Although Too Faced Shadow Insurance is a few bucks more, it is still more sanitary than other eyeprimers and it has a great staying power that keeps my lids oil-free.
