I was given an opportunity to review a new BAND-AID and Polysporin product but only received the BAND-AID item. And so, here is my review on a pretty neat product!
Feel free to check out all the photos in this one. The first thing I noticed was the size of the bandage itself. It was not as big as I thought it was going to be. It was perfect for a cut on my finger but I needed more than one on my leg.
It is not your average BAND-AID as there isn't a gauze piece in the middle. This confused me a bit as I wondered if the whole thing was usable as a bandage or if it was still just the center. I ended up treating it like a regular bandage. This is not made with natural rubber latex but instead is a hydrocolloid gel bandage.
It has a few claims. The first one was pretty cool and you will see it in the photo with the finger. When the healing begins, it pops up. Sure enough, when I removed it, the scab was present. Super cool!
It also cushions. Very nice especially on my knuckle!
It also claims it is long lasting even through hand washing and showers. Well, I had a cat scratch on my leg and a badly cut knuckle. The ones on my leg would catch on the couch and did roll off a bit. I switched them out for new ones before the shower test. One came off. Maybe it was improperly put on as the other did stay on. The one on my knuckle I really put to the test. Hand washing, doing dishes and everyday use of my hands meant this could be a true test of how good it was. I normally change out my bandages daily but kept this one on for the ultimate test. It stayed put and never let go until I took it off! It healed beautifully!
I will be buying more of these for cuts on our hands as the ability to stay on and allow it to heal was amazing!

We had a hard time trying to locate a place that sold this particular flavour and since we were chosen, to review this one in particular, we took longer than normal finding it. We normally buy the regular fruit sensations, as we enjoy the taste of them, but it was harder to locate the fiber ones.
Three of our family members were home when we opened up our cups. My daughter was a bit thrown by the circle on the outside of the top. We assured her that it was likely the carrot fiber that stuck there,
Now, I personally love raspberries but the hardest thing for me to get over is the seeds in my teeth afterwards. I was so happy to not have that experience. All the flavour of applesauce and none of the seeds!!!
This was a 6 thumbs up from 3 of us. Our only complaint may be that we all were eyeing up the remaining three cups in the package wishing there were more cups! I think we could use bigger cups...or jars of this!
Great value, wonderful taste without the seeds and definitely will be purchasing more! My daughter plans on taking them to her classes and we will be using them at home and on the road when we geocache or hike.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that it only had 9 grams of sugar which is super important for this stage 4 cancer warrior who looks for snacks that are 10 grams of sugar or lower in her diet. I also require a lot of protein in my diet and this bar packs in 9 grams per serving. I did enjoy the taste as dark chocolate is my favourite and it contained just the right amount of nuts. As a geocaching family, we will be purchasing these bars in the future for a perfect snack. -

I am a stage four cancer warrior and so have made some changes to my diet to make it easier on my liver for digesting. I really miss my burgers since I eliminated red meat from my diet. Chicken burgers are good but you get tired of them.
We purchased these veggie burgers the other night as a possible alternative. You get four to a box and the only downside to the packaging is that once you open it, the remaining burgers, if not used, will have to be put into a freezable bag or container for later.
We decided we would try barbequing them and since we had never had a veggie burger before, we were a bit skeptical. We dressed it like a regular burger and bit in. The edges were a bit dry, but full disclosure, we may have overcooked them just a touch. The inside was...heaven! So yummy! Even my youngest daughter enjoyed them and agreed she would readily eat them again. A hit with the kids too? A win/win from this mom!
I did find the price was quite high for 4 burgers but the quality and taste made up for it. The burgers do not shrink and can dwarf a regular hamburger bun.

We were given bag of Tostitos Multigrain Black Bean & Garlic tortilla chips to try and have been buying these whenever we get the chip munchies now.
These chips are fresh, crunchy and have an amazing flavour! We usually use tortillas to eat with dips but with these, you will find yourself still eating them long after the dips are gone. Often, we will pop them open just to eat on their own.
Each serving dishes up 3 grams of fiber and only 1 gram of sugar which are two important factors in my diet. It's made with 100% whole grains, has no artificial colours. flavours or preservatives and has no cholesterol.
The flavour has you licking your fingers after the chips are gone! The only problem for us is that when going to purchase them there is usually very few left on the shelf. They tend to be on the lower shelves which makes them a bit harder to spot but they are so worth every cent. Even our kids love these!

This is such an amazing lotion! I bought it on sale as I was starting to run low on some of my favourite lotions and figured that since I hadn't tried it before that I would buy it at a better price.
Let me start by saying, this lotion would be worth the full ticket price! It soaked in quickly, didn't leave a greasy feeling behind and smelled great! My super dry hands feel nourished and look so much better.
The pump was easy to use and allows you to use as much lotion as you want.
I actually caught myself sleeping on my hands just so I could smell the great coconut scent! Two well hydrated Thumbs up!

While our family prefers whole wheat this was a nice treat for us. The buns were fresh, moist and soft. We ate them with chicken burgers and they went over well.
They were well made and were cut just right. No sloppy or holey buns tonight! We will likely return to buying whole wheat buns, as that is still our family preference. We did agree overall that these would have made fantastic buns for tuna burgers.
For those who do prefer white bread, this would be a superior choice.
