Surprisingly delicious!
I was hesitant to buy this brand of coffee as I have my usual favourites. But I had a coupon so I decided to give it a try. It was actually really tasty and smooth. And for the price, I would definitely buy this again even without a coupon
Good smell good taste and good way to start the morning
I bought this coffee because it was on sale and I had a coupon but I'm glad I did because it is very good coffee. I usually buy nabob but I'm considering buying this in between.
Good coffee, a little better than Folgers
I am not a big coffee snob so keep that in mind. I enjoyed this coffee. It reminded me of a coffee that i buy at chain restaurant. it has a nice smell/ aroma, but overall still quite weak on flavour and more acidic than I'd like. I was quite shocked to learn this brand is under Folgers.
1850 Pioneer Blend Ground Coffee 340g
There's an interesting move to various mixes of coffee beans for the Keurig system this past year or two. More variety in strength and bean mix is a good thing for customers, although it can be a challenge to try new mixes (and face the possibility of not liking it and having to dispose of the unused cups!). 1850 is a new label to me (it is produced by Folgers) , bringing out a couple of new boxes of Keurig coffee cups of late. The product is available as K-cups, beans, or ground coffee.
1850 Pioneer Blend is one of these new flavours under the 1850 brand. It's a medium roast, not too strong and not too weak, based on 100% Arabica beans that have been "fire roasted" (whether that means an open fire or what, I don't know). The flavour of these K-cups is good, with a bit of a smooth, nutty flavor to the resulting coffee (in a good way, not bad). The coffee is a bit bolder (stronger) than some people prefer, but that's the nature of the bean roast. Since the parent company (Folgers) makes some of my favorite coffee for the Keurig system, I tasted some similarities in the 1850 Pioneer Blend and my favorite Folgers cups. My wife, who likes very strong coffee, was not as impressed as I am. I like smoother medium roast, and this Pioneer Blend is on the stronger side of the roasting, but not too strong for me. I quite like this 1850 Pioneer Blend!
