This slicer takes the work out of cutting vegetables.

I diced a large onion in less than 2 minutes! I always hated chopping onions before because it took so long and my hands would smell after. Not to mention the tears. But with the slicing guard there was no smell on my hands and no cut fingers either. It gripped the onion letting me cut right down to the end without wasting any part of the vegetable. I'm quite a mizer so this was imporatant to me. I liked being able to use the small julienne blade to get the size I wanted.

This slicer made food preparation so much easier that it didn't feel like work at all. I liked that I could change the blade thickness so for scalloped potatoes I used the thinest one but other fruit and vegetables were better with one of the other two blades. Even julienning vegetables was easy with this slicer. Honestly, I never did that before because when I did it by hand I just made a mess but now I can cut up french fries in minutes.

There is so much I like about this slicer that I don't know where to start. I love how easy it makes the work. I like the uniform look after slicing. I like how easy it is to wash. Just soapy water and a light wipe. I like the slicing guard since I'm quite a klutz. I like the non-slip feet. I like the holder for the guides so they won't get lost.

The only thing I didn't like was that it took me a minute to figure out how to change the blades. Turns out that's what the large button at the top of the slicer is for. Just push it and the blade unlocks. When you put a new one in you'll hear it click when it locks into place.

I did receive this slicer from the seller but I'm reviewing it on my own. As for a rating for this 5 in 1 Vegetable Slicer I would give the product 5 stars but knocking it down to 4 stars because of the lack of instructions. If you are more on the ball than I am and don't need instructions you'll love this time saving slicer.
