Superb. Alan Rickman is just stunning. The film is subtle and beautiful, story, acting and visually all work together. The scene of the women discussing their lives is amazing. I have never liked Kate Winslet as much as in this film. She was wonderful. The cast was wonderful and carried the story off well. So pleased to have found this film today! I am going to watch it again soon.
