Pricey but works !

This product works very well on cold sores, it works fast and relieves the dry/irritating feeling. It comes in a little tube because a little is all you need !

I like to wait for it to go on sale, and then use a coupon to make it even cheaper !

I could tell that last week's cold sore was going to be a dilly. I didn't react right away when I felt ot coming on, but the next morning I started applying Abreva and I managed to just have a little itchiness for 2 days, then it was done. I only really applied twice a day, so was totally surpised (and happy!). No grossness, scabbing, bleeding and continued itching...amazing product.

Very small tube for the price, butI didn't use much, so shopuld have enough for a few more sessions

I am fortunate not to suffer from cold sores except on the rarest of occasions. My husband, however, gets them often when he's stressed and the weather is dry and cold.

Until recently, he jumped through the hoops of getting a prescription for Zovirax every time he had a new sore. One day he decided to try Abreva and hasn't looked back. It's not quite as effective as Zovirax but darn close. I always buy it when it goes on sale or I find a good coupon for it. I have also seen it recently on Amazon for around $11 (with free super saver shipping!), so now that winter's on the way it will be time to stock up.

I get cold sores every so often and if you get them too you know what I mean when I say they are horrible! However, at the first signs of one approaching, use Abreva and you will see its amazing ability to prevent a cold sore from becoming big painful ugly mess on your face. It lessens the degree of the cold sore. Even when used after a cold sore appears, it definitely helps to shorten the healing time. Great product, though a little expensive at between 15-20 dollars for a small little tube. However, it definitely works!
