    Excellent food

This brand is top choice for me as the ingredients are from a traceable source. There are no fillers or by products. My Golden doodle has allergies, this food has been a great option for her!

    Great food

I have been searching for a quality dog food to assist with alleviating my Zoey's allergic reaction to grains in her kibble. Acana, although extremely pricey, seems to do the trick. It is nice to finally have her being able to relax without obsessively scratching her whole body

    One of the best

Acana in general is about the best you can buy - this food worked so well for my dog with allergies that was chewing holes in himself.
Champion Pet Foods - the producer of this product is about the only company that doesn't add a million vitamins and minerals to their foods - know why?
Because they use real meat, veggies and botanicals in their foods so they don't have to add anything into it after processing. Their foods are based on "whole prey" so all parts of the animal are included. They have other single protein foods - pork, duck & lamb so you can rotate proteins for your allergic dog

    Worth Every Penny!

We have been searching for a good dog food that all of our huskies would be able to eat without causing tummy issues for any one of them. I had done tons of research and finally decided on the Acana Pacific Pilchard, which is a limited ingredient dog food (single protein). Bonus points for being manufactured in Canada (actually local to where we live).

Our dogs seem to love the flavour and I'm happy to report we haven't had any tummy issues since starting them on the Acana Pacific Pilchard.

Acana also makes three other limited ingredient (single protein) dog food varieties here in Canada - Grass Fed Lamb, Free Range Duck and Yorkshire Pork. I am looking forward to buying the other varieties for our dogs to try.
