No fat, lazy old dog in this house :)

All our pets are on Acana pet Foods and this past year, my furry partner of 14 years has been on Acana Senior. The protein and fat content is less as old dogs are less active, and my dog is a picture of really good health. No bowel issues, no diabetes, no intestinal or other health related issues and best of all, he is slim but not skinny. This brand really does deliver as promised and I am happy to be a continual consumer :)

Best food for my furry friend

I adopted my furry friend 11 years ago at the age of 18 months old. Like proud new parents, I researched on all types of foods and treats and decided to go with a grain-free brand. I tried many brands but stuck with Acana as the protein content is lower for small dogs. Eventhough I have a small dog, I buy the large bags of food and keep it in the refrigerator. For variation, I changed the flavour after he finishes each bag. My dog has grown up with Acana and now he is onto the Senior food, There is only one flavour for Senior but he is still loving his food. As my dog is now approaching 13 yrs of age, people still thinks he is a puppy due to his alertness and liveliness. My furry companion can still walk for hours, jump to and from great heights, and can run fast playing catch. I think his activeness is due to the quality in the Acana food. This dog food includes more than just Omega 3, Omega 6, minerals and vitamins. It contains a good dose of Glucosamine & Chondroitin sulfate. Some of the goodness that keeps my dog happy, joints mobile, and healthy.

My poor baby had been suffering reoccurring ear infections about twice a year until I had changed her food over to this. Amazing, all natural ingredients. You can tell the difference by looking at your big brand foods. Made in Canada as well which is a huge plus for me.
