Hmm...
This was recommended by my dermatologist and it was actually quite difficult to find around my area. I had to call a couple of stores to locate the product. Anyway, tried the product once a day, every evening for a week. In general, it does cleanse and if you use a little its not too abrasive but my skin just didn't like it. I broke out, really badly. Definitely do a patch test (which I did).
I so wanted to like this, but it it didn't do anything for my acne, it only made my skin so much more irritated. I used it for 1 week, but gave up after that because I wasn't seeing any visible results.
Nothing to write home about here. The only real upside to this cleaner is that it didn't dry out my face. I have mild acne and it did nothing to prevent it. I haven't seen any difference in my skin at all since using it. The packaging is so-so. Quite honestly it looks low-end - it doesn't stand out. The formula is very thin and almost feels watered down. I wouldn't buy it again.
Been trying the product for the last two weeks and i give a thumbs down and my reason is the first couples of days I thought okay new pimples coming out thinking it was about to anyways before i started but everyday new one popped out and had to stop after 14 days due to the product giving me 2 times more acne then i originally had. I was hoping it would of dried up my skin a bit but it didn't. Now while cleaning with it it didn't seem to exfoliate my skin .. felt more like rubbing pasty white milk on my face. My skin felt nice and clean only on the first day of trying it and after that it felt still dirty really. I wont be using this product again as I am trying to get rid of my acne not add more.
I received AcneFree Oil-Free Acne Cleanser from ChickAdvisor to test it. My first reaction was the top. It was hard to open. I couldn't figure out if I needed to take it off or slide or what! So frustrating in the shower when I use glasses and can't wear them in there. My next review would be of the cleanser itself. I found the consistency to be perfect. It didn't run right out of my hand. However, I felt as if it was actually cleaning my face. Most of the time my makeup was still running down my cheeks after I used it. My face didn't feel or smell clean. I prefer a cleanser that exfoliates as you use it so I feel clean after using it.
I was able to try out this product and I was really hopeful that it was going to help me with my acne but unfortunately it didn't. It just made my face get really dry and my acne seemed to get worse! I do have sensitive skin and everyone's face is different so just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't for others. Just give it a try and see for yourself!
Although I have tried many faces washes high end and low end I'm usually
Disappointed and this time was sadly no exemption. I'm thirty 31 and unfortunately still suffer from acne and this product did not help me. It also left my skin feeling tight and uncomfortable.
I liked the texture of the product and the way it lathered up, and although my skin felt clean for the most part, I find that it didn't remove all of my makeup. My skin did not feel tight, and the product had a nice light scent, but I'm not convinced that my skin was entirely clean after using this product. Im not sure how effective it is for acne either.
It is a great product. It makes your skin feel soft and dries up pimples that you already have. I had a pimple by my nose and I used the AcneFree Oil-Free Acne Cleanser and the next morning the pimple had disappeared
I was excited to receive this product to review but I was diappointed with the results. It didn't help clear any breakouts & it made my skin extremely itchy & red. I didn't find it to be gentle at all.
