I'm not the biggest fan of protein bars, but I've tried at least half a dozen different brands over the years and this one is not bad. It tastes pretty good compared to other protein bars I've had (think of a very thick & slightly hard chocolate bar) and certainly kept me full while I was working a 4 hour shift.

I would likely purchase it again. The price is decent and it's as yummy as a protein bar can get (not saying it tastes amazing, but compared to other protein bars it's pretty good).

I actually sat with a few choice people I thought would be interested in trying this. This is what we agreed upon:
·Would generally only consider for breakfast or on the run. Filling but not substantial to offset a regular meal
·Texture decent with brownie like consistency & crunchy pieces but has grainy aftertaste, maybe the protein powder
·Taste not as pleasing but better than some other bars in the market
·Might/might not consider purchasing
·Reasonably priced based on others in the market

I found the bar to be quite sugary as I would prefer a bar to taste a bit healthier, when it contains healthy ingredients. It was a bit hard to eat the entire bar just because it was so sweet. I did find that the bar did make me feel quite full and I was able to go without more food for a while. I don't think this would be considered a meal replacement as I was hungry again in half the time it would take if I had eaten an actual meal. It's a good snack to eat when you're hungry and in a hurry. I just wish the bar wasn't so sweet.

I received this product for free as part of a ChickAdvisor campaign. The bar certainly has some heft to it in size. I was quite surprised how heavy it felt when I lifted it. It also had a definite and enticing scent of chocolate which did appeal to the chocolate lover in me. The outer milk chocolate coating is of good quality and definitely tasted delicious. I also loved the texture of the inside of the bar. It reminded me of fudge mixed with crisp rice. The main issue I saw was the quite obvious after taste this bar has. If you consume a fair bit of protein products like shakes with protein powder, you may not even notice it as an issue. If you are not someone who consumes such products this after taste may be unappealing to you. I would liken it to the sort of after taste many products that contain protein powder have. The product was effective at satisfying hunger for approximately 2 and a half to three hours for me. You should budget in healthy snacks to go along with this if you use it as a meal replacement as it may not lasted four or five hours till your next scheduled meal. Overall it is a decent product with a taste that did appeal to my chocololic tendencies but may not appeal to yours if you are not a regular user of these sorts of health products.

What can I say about this bar, The taste was not very good and the after taste was horrid, the texture was sort of nice had a bit of a crispy feel. The one good thing I have to say about this was it was filling, I couldn't even finish the whole bar. Would I buy this no, would I try it again no. It is however a solid meal replacement otherwise.

I tried one of these bars as a replacement for my breakfast. I was only able to take one bight every 5 minutes because I felt it was very heavy. But it did keep me full from 8am untill 11:30am

I'm not keen on bars as a meal replacement as a weight loss strategy, but if you're in a hurry or need some energy, these are actually pretty tasty. I do find the price high for 5 bars/box, as compared to a box of granola bars (which I know, are not quite the equivalent of a meal replacement bar).

Thank you Chick Advisor for sending this product to me for review. I am undecided if i will purchase this product in the future, the reason being is i found it too sweet. Although it tasted great and no chalkiness and it was nice and chewy but i did find it a little too sweet and dense, for this reason i am undecided.

This product tasted great and was very satisfying. I used it for a few days on my way into work. I have a long commute and breakfast is not always an option depending on weather and traffic.
Portable and kept me satisfied until lunch. Average price and portable.
Provided just the right amount of energy as well. Packed with nutrients and lots of good stuff.

These taste like any other diet bar. They are fudgy but a bit chalky but not as dry as other bars.
I cannot attest to their ability to help you lose weight as with only 5 bars, to try but at almost 12/box will not be purchasing again.

They are a little high in carbs for me, as to lose weight I would need a lower carbohydrate diet.
They have a whopping 32g of carbs per bar.
