With amount of calories and unneeded sugar I'd say this may be a bar for gaining weight, but it doesn't even have that much protein in it. Same dry processed taste as most meal replacement bars. for me it needs to feel like a meal to replace a meal, when I'm still hungry after eating it it's not a success to me.

Adrien Gagnon decadent fudge bars are tasty and but the price point isn't. 5 bars for basically 12$seems to be a stretch to me.
It is unlikely that I will recommend this to friends or family.

I received this product free to try as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I was pleased with the packaging to be honest. The price as well runs pretty mainstream with other meal replacement bars which it nice. Looking at the nutritional information though, I was a little hesitant at the fact that it had 18g of sugar.. Mainly because I (personally) want to keep my refined sugar intake low while trying to lose weight. I didn’t mind the amount of calories in it because it is a meal replacement… Its meant to replace a meal that would generally have 300-400 calories. It also has 15g of sugar in it which is nice as well.


Taste wise, its pretty good. It was nice and chocolatey and it had some nice crunchy bits in it. I did find it rather filling, which was nice, seeing as other meal replacement products I have tried I have not found filling. So I would choose this brand over others. I honestly think this product is perfect for women on the go, or moms who don’t always get to eat meals on time. I personally would love them for work. I work in a call center and sometimes I can get stuck on a call 2 hours past my lunch time, it would be nice to have something I can just grab and have at my desk if I need it.


Overall, it did deliver in my opinion on what it is intended to do. It is filling, high in protein and not high in calories which is nice. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or anyone who is in the market for a meal replacement. I would purchase it again if I was in the market for a meal replacement bar. I don’t usually buy them, but if I ever choose to, I will definitely turn to this brand!

These bars are very very decadent and tasty. They certainly pack a punch and are a great meal replacement for on the go . I loved the fudge flavour and how the bars made me feel full after eating them. They are a great protein bar for on the go .

I loooved those bars. They did in fact kept me full until the next meal and they were also super tasty! i will recomend to anyone who is looking for a quick protein filled snack!

These bars are very delicious, and are very filling. They have 260 calories, and I can easily substitute a meal for one of these. They are very rich, and taste like fudge!

I received thee as a free sample along with the Super Energex. I really do like these bars. They have a great taste and you do not need to eat alot of the bar at a sitting. When I felt that I needed something I would just break a bit off at a time.

I was really impressed by the Adrien Gagnon Decadent Fudge Nutriforme Bars. I've tried other energy and meal replacement bars before and they all tell you that they taste wonderful, and they don't! Every one of them tastes like flavoured cardboard.
The Nutriforme bars really do taste nice. I loved the dark chocolate flavouring of the bar. It wasn't chalky or cardboardy tasting, it actually tasted like a nice chocolate fudge. The consistency of the bar was nice too. Each bar contains 2g of fibre and 15g of protein, which is nice. The caloric intake of the bar is 270 calories. The bar is sold as a meal replacement, so I would have expected a few more calories per bar, but if you are looking to loose weight it would likely help.
Price-wise they are about on par with other nutritional bars, which is to say, greatly over-priced! That being said they work out to be about $2.30 +tax per bar when you buy them in a box of 5.
The only drawback, not with the product, but with the marketing is the Adrein Gagnon website. It isn't really easy to navigate and you can't find the nutritional value of their products online, which is a bit of a pain.
All in all, I would (and have already) recommended this product to others, pretty much on taste alone. Nutriforme has done a fantastic job with the flavouring on this bar.

These bars taste great with lots of texture and they also fill me up. I like to use these when I don't have time to eat at work and they keep me full until dinnertime. They're convenient to keep in my purse just in case I get hungry. I imagine these would be great for weight loss too to eat a bar as a meal instead of eating unhealthy food. I will try replacing meals with these for weight loss.

I personally didn't tried to product to loose wait. I decided to test it because I'm always hungry and don't have the time to have a large snack during my day. It was my first time trying out a meal replacement bar, and let me tell you that I was quite shocked with the taste. It felt like I was eating a chocolate bar! Soooo good!
It didn't fill me up as much as I hoped, but it's still a nice alternative.
