I received these meal replacement bars for free as a part of Chick Advisor's product review club. I have never tried meal replacement anything before - shakes or bars. I do believe that healthy whole foods are probably the better option. However, on a day where you don't have time to pack a lunch or purchase one, these bars really are quite tasty and do fill you up. They are very rich and chocolate-y, and even though they just have 4g of fibre, I felt completely full after finishing a bar. My son tried one and said the same thing. They also have 15g of protein in one bar which I thought was impressive, as was the % of daily value for a number of nutrients like Calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, phosphorous and various B vitamins. Fairly high in sugar at 18g, but better sugar than some chemical substitute in my view. I did use the bars as a lunch replacement, but also had some fruit alongside it. I would purchase these bars again to keep in my desk drawer for lunch emergencies. Would I use them regularly instead of whole foods - no, but it is a great option for those on the go.

I received this through the product review club. I love these bars. They're tasty and filling and perfect to throw in your bag for a snack or even eat as a replacement for breakfast. I ate mine in the morning because I am not a breakfast person but I have to take pills that need to be taken with food. Filled me up and oh so tasty.

I received the product free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I thought these tasted very good. It wasn't overly sweet, but it does have 18 grams of sugar in a 65 gram bar. It is filled with 24 essential vitamins and minerals. I did like the consistency of it. It is quite filling if you ate the whole bar in one go, but I got hungry after a few hours. Although it was a meal replacement bar, it felt like I was eating a granola bar. I was tempted to eat it as a snack. Maybe because it was fudge flavour. I don't normally take meal replacement bars or drink meal replacement beverages. I believe that other products are probably more expensive than this, but it adds up if you are eating this once or twice everyday. If this was on sale, I might purchase this.

I got a box of these as a review package, and was pleasantly surprised. I've tried meal replacement bars before, and they usually taste a little funny and still leave me hungry. But these really taste like chocolate, and actually filled me up. With tax they average to a little over $2 a bar, so they aren't super cheap, but if you consider them a meal, it works out to be a good deal. I think they'd be ideal to keep in your desk for busy days when you don't have time to eat.

I loved these! THey are definitely going to be a work staple for the shifts where I am too busy to eat an actual meal (which working in a hospital, happens a lot). I usually replace my breakfast with them (which if I get one is typically around 10AM) and I didn't find myself hungry until almost 3PM - this was a godsend for a busy day on the nursing floor! The bars were filling, and were not too sugar-y, and the chocolate taste was authentic - I didnt feel like I was just eating empty calories. They are a bit pricy at 12$/5 pieces, but if they went on sale I'd stock up! I"m definitely going to look at other flavours!

I received this as part of the Product Review Club and I'm quite happy I had the chance to test these out. They taste great and curb my appetite for hours so that I could make it till lunchtime at work since I don't usually eat breakfast. They weren't hard to digest and compared to other meal replacement products, I would definitely say that this one is of a better quality. At regular price they are quite pricey, but if they ever go on sale I would stock up on these!

These are great to help in weight loss. They have a rich chocolate taste that has no aftertaste. It fills up your tummy and keeps you full for a long time. I eat only half a bar to replace my meal on my fasting days and it lasts me well into the afternoon! It's great knowing they are filled with essential vitamins and minerals rather than empty calories like snack bars! I keep a bar or two at work to satisfy any hunger I may experience when working late!

I was fortunate enough to receive this free sample from Chick Advisor to try out. My first impression was boy this bar is heavy and I hope it doesn't taste like sweet cardboard. I bit into this bar and got a mouthful of sweet decadent fudge chocolate and enjoyed every bite right to the end. I couldn't believe that this meal replacement bar tasted so good and curbed my appetite for 5 hours. I also did not experience any stomach cramping, pain or bloating. These Adrien Gagnon Fudge Nutriforme bars are fantastic and I will definitely be buying these them on a regular basis now. Thanks again for introducing me to this wonderful product.

I received these to try for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I was really surprised that these were not too sweet tasting but also not overly protein bar type of a taste.They do a great job at killing the hunger for quite some time without leaving me feeling like i need to pick at snacks during my busy day. I love to stash them in my purse for the busy mornings or afternoons that breakfast or lunch may not happen. I do think the cost of this may be a little more than what i'm comfortable spending on just 5 bars but seeing as other meal replacement type bars can go for $3 each it isn't too bad considering I wont be eating them everyday. I am going to try and other bars in this line too and already have my coworkers picking up their own boxes for their desks.
