I received the Adrien Gagnon Super Energex to review as a member of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I diluted this product first in water since I ran out of juice and was okay with the taste. I MUCH prefer it with orange juice or fruit juice though, as recommended in the instructions. The packaging was very unique and the product was easy to open and consume. I did not notice an immediate effect after consumption over the course of a week , but I suppose product needs to be taken everyday for long term effects. The red ginseng in the Super Energex is a unique ingredient that claims to revitalize and energize the body, and because it is a natural ingredient, I did not expect immediate change in my body or overall health. I will be updating my review when I finish all 20 ampoules.

Though these worked to keep me alert and didn't make me go pee or make me as jittery as coffee, I would have appreciated an easier to open package. Yes, the little ampoules were great for on the go as they could be ripped apart and thrown into a purse, they require actual scissors to open. I thought there would be a little perforated tear to open the ampoule, but there was not! The plastic is quite thick too, so you can't even tear into it with your teeth.

I used these with water as I do not drink fruit juice. The taste wasn't pleasant, so I would try to drink it as quickly as possible. I felt more alert after using this product. However, I did not like the packaging at all. The individual vials had to be cut apart and then cut open with scissors. Not good for on the go.

Perhaps I would need to continue using this product for longer periods of time in order to feel the effects, but personally I didn't really notice any change in energy or alertness after use. In terms of flavour, I didn't mind the taste although I would have preferred an option other than orange. I generally popped these into my morning smoothies and found it was an easy way to have them, but I didn't notice any changes from them. Perhaps I should have tried two at once in order to feel the full effect.

I liked this product because it was a quick way to get more energy without drinking more coffee which tends to give me the shakes if I drink many cups of it throughout the day. I mixed this with orange juice with breakfast which didn't completely mask the taste but was tolerable. I found that it did give me a little boost of energy so if I knew I had something that would require a lot of energy I would use it in the morning. I just found it odd that you are only supposed to take it for up to a month continuously when I could drink coffee daily so these might not be the most useful if you need energy boosts daily.

I was selected to try this as part of the ChickAdvisor review panel. This is my review after using an ampule of this every day for 9 days in a row.

First of all, I am always sleep deprived, and go through a cup of coffee every morning to get me alert and ready to work. During the test period, I used Super Energex instead of coffee to get my boost.

The first few days, I really didn't notice much of a difference in my energy level, but it could be I was going through coffee withdrawal. Later on in the test period though, I did notice that Super Energex was doing its job and I did feel more alert after taking it. So I give it an A for its effect.

Where this failed is the taste. The taste was just not pleasant. I don't drink juice in general, so I wasn't able to mix it in with juice as suggested. I did add this to a bottle of water flavored with sugar free Crystal Lite. The taste was still medicinal and barely bearable. It also turned the water a dirty muddy brown color, so it didn't look that appetizing, either.

Because of the taste alone, I would only drink this if I didn't have coffee around and need a quick boost of energy for the day.

I have been taking Adrien Gagnon Super Energex in orange juice for the last 15 mornings. It has been perfect timing as that was exactly when I started working full time again after many years as a mom with only a part time job. I really needed the extra energy to get through the long, busy days and Adrien Gagnon Super Energex has completely lived up to it's word as far as I am concerned. I'd definitely recommend it!

I was very excited to get these and try them out. I rely on coffee to give me the energy I need to get through the day at work; so this sounded like a better/healthier option to try out.

What I didn't like
- the ampoules were very hard to use. They were tricky to break open; especially day 1 at work when I didn't have scissors or a knife to cut them open with... so I did not get to try them out day 1 after all :(. Cue day 2.... I figured out they needed to be separated before breaking one open to use!!
- they really smelled nasty. Not like orange as the package stated. So don't sniff them!
- they don't taste great - palatable at best. Don't try it in a glass of water! Eeeww. I finally settled on either pineapple or pomegrate juice. They turn the juice the color of swampwater. But these juices mask the taste best

what I did like
- once I figure out how to separate and open the ampoules, they are easily slipped into a pocket and can go anywhere
- they did seem to give me a boost of energy, especially mid morning when I can start to droop and need an extra push forward.

I am happy I got to try them, I didn't love them but enjoyed them. I probably would not purchase them though -too complicated to use

I received this product from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club and boy, do I not like it!! First off the packaging seems a little extreme and difficult to open on these little capsules! If you buy these (which I don't recommend), USE SCISSORS.

Now I tried these with juice as it said and the colour of it made it very unappealing. The taste is even worse then it looks! It does not taste like orange in my opinion!

After a few days, I didn't notice a difference. Nothing. I tried taking it at different times of the day too and I didn't notice a difference. I wasn't surprised though. I was a little wary trying this product.

When I first tried this I didn't have any orange juice as per the directions and tried it with water instead. Well, let's just say there is a bit of a chalky aftertaste. But the next day I tried it with orange juice, it did taste better and a little more pleasant. The product itself comes in a single dose package and is easy to open. I did notice a small boost in my energy level and alertness. I just wish this came in pill form instead, but understand that liquid form helps to get into the blood stream quicker. Overall I would probably buy this as a healthier alternative to drinking caffeine.
