Well...I will be completely honest as usual. This tastes horrible!! I have mixed 3 capsules with water and it is truly disgusting. Having said that...mixing it in a smoothy or juice does mask the taste slightly. I am a huge fan of Adrien Gagnon Super Energex because a complex B vitamin is a more natural way to manage Bipolar Disorder. I was diagnosed with BD several years ago and along my journey found inventive ways to boost my mood and energy. My mornings are a little easier with this complex Super Energex.

I was disappointed with the product. I'm currently on a low-cal diet (doctor recommended), and one of the biggest rules I follow is to not drink my calories. I mixed the capsule with water and nearly vomited after drinking it. You definitely have to mix it with juice to hide the awful taste. The product didn't have any noticeable effects for me either. The price point is fine, and would be worth it if it worked and if it could actually be mixed with water.

Thank you Chickadvisor or choosing me to try this product for free. I tried this as recommended after breakfast with orange juice and was amazed with my energy level. I usually reach for a second cup of coffee but this was much more effective and kept me alert. It tastes great in the juice!

I used energex every day for a week and upon reading the description I was hesitant as I expected an "energy surge" like from a red bull or something similar. Instead, it seemed more like a liquid vitamin. I would not replace my standard multivitamin with this however as I found it inconvenient to use. I don't usually have orange juice on the house, and I tried it in water and was not impressed!

I wanted to try these for a couple of weeks before I posted my review. I did really find that taking this daily has had an impact on my energy level. I definitely feel more alert and ready for anything in my day. I don't drink orange juice very often so I was mixing it with water and that is really my only criticism with the taste. I found it had that kinda irony taste that is in iron supplements. Other than the taste, I was very pleased with the results and would take it again.

I tried this product for the first time via ChickAdvisor, and I must say I was very disappointed. I first tried the product in water and I could not take more than a sip because it tasted so bad. I then tried this product in orange juice as the box recommended and found the taste to be better but still not enjoyable. I did not find that this product change my level of tiredness as I was still extremely exhausted after work just like most days. I was also worried about the fact that the box says to only take this product for a month, as it makes me wonder how safe the product is. I would not recommend this product.

I must admit, I didn't enjoy the product but maybe others would have more success. I tried it first in water, against the package suggestion of orange juice. We don't keep juice in the house regularly, so I thought I would try it with the water base. It was not great and I hardly finished it. The taste was too strong and unpleasant for first thing in the morning when we were rushing to get ready! I didn't notice any change in my energy that day but that was understandable.

I went out and specifically bought OJ for my next test. It turned the juice a lovely brown but tasted better. Not great but better. I didn't notice a change in my energy level but I do have a busy schedule where I am overtired most of the time. Maybe longer term I would see a difference. I haven't gotten through the whole box of ampoules yet.

I should say that I don't often use liquid herbal supplements but it was nice to try. We can use all the help we can get health and enegy-wise! I don't know that I will try this specific product in the future but that may change one day.

Next time I tried in my orange juice and I didn't notice any taste or difference in my juice. I used them in the morning and found that I got an energy boost for a short time. I'm doing a lot less yawning during the day and getting more accomplished. The ampoules were easy to tear apart and use, but not my preferred packaging type. First, let me start out by saying a few words about Adrien Gagnon brand. I am originally from Québec, currently living in Ontario. Adrien Gagnon is a very good, reliable and respected brand that offers all kinds of supplements as well as diet products for what is usually a lower price than similar brands, but without it affecting the quality of the product. I do not believe it is a very popular brand in the rest of the country and I personally have had trouble finding the products in stores in Ottawa. Fortunately, I see that it is now possible to order online from the company's website and I fully intend to do that. I had already tried this product before, as well as the meal replacement bars, but was still really happy to be given a chance to try them again since they are a bit harder to find in Ontario.

The first time I tried the Super Energex ampoules was, I believe, about 20 years ago. I don't know how much the product has changed over the years. Something that I noticed immediately is that the ampoules are now made of plastic. The ampoules used to be made out of glass and removing each end of the ampoule could potentially cause cuts and sometimes tiny particules of glass would end up in your drink so plastic is definitely safer. When it comes to the taste, it said it was orange flavoured. I don't know what kind of orange, but I would stay away from it. I actually remembered the taste from way back and trying to cover it with orange has not helped in the least. It is bad. Put it in water, put it in juice, it is just as nasty. However, this brand is no worse than others and while I find the taste could use some more help, it is a small price to pay to feel a bit more energized.

I do think the product works. It is not a miracle, it will not cure illnesses, but I do think it makes a difference when feeling tired all the time. I don't think this product is meant to be taken to get a boost of energy during the day: it is not a caffeine pill. My understanding is you need to take it every day for a certain period of time and you will start feeling the positive effects. Trying to take one ampoule only when you feel you need it will not work and that is not what this product is about.

The taste is still hard to stomach, but if you can get passed that, it is worth taking the ampoules every day when you are feeling a little out of it, seems to work better than vitamins for me.

I received the Adrien Gagnon Super Energex for free to try through Chick Advisor. I was a bit reluctant to try it out because I didn't know if it would make me too energized. I worried for nothing! I did not notice any difference in my energy levels on the days I used it. I mixed it in water and it tasted like prune juice -- not horrible but not great. I did not find this product effective and would definitely not purchase it.
