Unfortunately I did not enjoy the Adrien Gagnon Super Energex Orange ampoules. Because of the nature of this product, I felt it was difficult to review due to many factors that effect energy levels. That being said, I tried them on a day when I had done 4 hours of exercise and also on a lazy day, and felt no difference in my energy level.
I didn't not enjoy the flavour. It tastes bland. While it is orange flavoured, the directions suggest adding it to orange juice (which I don't drink) and I think that defeats the purpose of being 'orange'. The packaging is also weird and reminds me of those packets of fake blood that you can use for a vampire costume at Halloween.
Overall, I didn't enjoy these and will not be purchasing them in the future.

To be honest, I did not like the Super Energex. When I first tired to open the capsule, the liquid made a little splash all over my counter-top and backslash. It was easy to clean up, but maybe not the best packaging. I poured my Super Energex into a half glass of water as suggested, and was surprised to see that it was a brown color because the box said it was orange flavored. When I went to taste it, I gagged. I wasn't expecting that kind of taste... I expected an orange taste as the package indicated but it tasted more like an artificial vanilla extract. I normally would have not drank the rest, but I wanted to see if I was going to see any benefits, so I forced myself to drink it. I did not notice any difference in my energy level.
I might have enjoyed the taste more if I had used the product with juice, but we do not normally buy juice in our house. Perhaps that would have made the product taste better.
I was eager to try Adrien Gagnon Super Energex, as I feel I've been lacking energy lately! Seemed like a good alternative to coffee or tea that I used to rely on.
I don't have any orange juice like is suggested, so I had this with water, and then with iced tea. The smell is VERY VERY medicinal - like a bottle of iron pills - and it was very off-putting for me. The taste is definitely not orange...which is probably why it is suggested to put in juice. Like others have commented, it is an artificial vanilla flavour that you can taste in your mouth for hours after you finish drinking. It IS drinkable in both water and iced tea, although I didn't enjoy drinking it. Best with food so the taste isn't so strong or everlasting.
So, after drinking it, I was expecting an energy boost but unfortunately, I felt no difference in energy. Even after 3 days! Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this nor purchase it again in the future. I suggest that Adrien Gangon changes the flavour labelling to "Vanilla", as there is no hint or smell of orange whatsoever. Regardless, I do appreciate the chance to try this product out from Chickadvisor and provide a review for it. Great company, not so great product.
I received this free from the Product Review Club from ChickAdvisor.
I was really excited about this. I love energy drinks but know how bad they are for me. I also have acid reflux and coffee sometimes makes my stomach hurt alot. So I was looking forward to something giving me energy and keeping me going. I've only tried it once and mixed it with water. The taste is NOTHING like orange. It tastes very medicinal. It was very difficult to stomach. I am going to try it again and mix it with a juice and hopefully it will be better. In terms of energy, I found it perked me up a little but not near what a good coffee will do.
I received this as part of the product review club and was excited to try it right away. On day 1 I tried the ampule just in water and, to be honest, the taste was not very strong, but the taste that it did have was awful so going forward after that I mixed it with juice which only somewhat masked the flavour. I do somewhat appreciate that they at least did not try to cover the flavour with a ton of artificial ingredients, however.
As for my energy levels, I did notice a moderate change in energy levels on the days that I took it versus the days that I forgot to take it. I also appreciate that it seems to have a more moderate amount of B vitamins as well as a mix of other ingredients as opposed to the chewables I sometimes take which are a bit strong.
If you don't mind the taste, it's a decent product, but if you can't bear to have to choke it down each morning I would not suggest it.
Honestly, the biggest downfall of the product is the taste. If it weren't for that I would probably recommend it. I do really like the convenient individual doses.

I will be honest, I did not really like this product. Taste was awful. They recommend mixing with orange juice but Even that was not enough. I also did not find much difference in energy. Considering the effort it took to get it down, I don't think I'll be purchasing this product in the future. Disappointed, I was looking forward to this one
I received this product to try for free through chick advisor's product review club. I have been using this product for almost a week now and I definitely find that it helps boost my energy and I seem to have less fatigue from my lack of sleep. I would advise people however to mix it in orange juice and not water as the taste is horrible. I also put it in a full glass of orange juice instead of the recommended half a glass as that's the only way I can get it down without gagging over the taste.
I received a supply of Adrien Gagnon Super Energex for free from chickadvisor.com. Unfortunately I did not notice any change in energy levels. I did not feel more energetic or alert. To top it off, I did not like the taste ... mixed with water and even mixed with juice. I'm disappointed.
I received the Adrien Gagnon Super Energex along with 6 Nutriforme meal replacements for free for my review. Two products, two totally different results. I tried the Super Energex both with water and with juice and felt no change in energy what so ever. I thought that I may need to try it for a week to start feeling a change but I honestly didn't see any results at all, no increase in energy and no increase in mental alertness. The Adrien Gagnon Nutriforme bars on the other hand, love them.
I received the package of Adrien Gagnon Super Energex ampoules compliments of ChickAdvisor and ENERGEX as a member of the product review club. I shared this with my husband so we could discuss results and both review the product. Based on normal daily use while in good health both the dark green/black color when mixed with water or orange juice and the taste, although listed as 'ORANGE' flavored, leaves a lot to be desired as the other ingredients definitely overpower any citrus flavor that may be intended. The ampoules did not seem to give us much more energy than usual as per the claims. The quality seems good and on par with ingredients used but I am unsure of the average cost in my area as this was a FREE item given to test and review. However, the listed cost of $12.49 seems very reasonable.
Overall, I would probably not purchase this product in the future as not much difference in energy was noticed but it could potentially be quite beneficial if you are sick or coming down with an illness as it may most likely boost a weakened immune system.
