I have to start out with a negative. The liquid smelled AWFUL! Made my stomach turn and I did not want to drink it. On to the positive: it worked! A more natural energy boost that didn't leave me with the shakes afterwards.

I was thrilled to be selected as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club to try out Adrien Gagnon's Super Energex Daily Energy Support. As an avid runner and someone who is especially interested in health and nutrition, I'm always looking for new and interesting products to support my lifestyle.

While I understand that this wouldn't happen in regular circumstances of purchasing the product at a store, when I opened my package I instantly was overwhelmed by a strong smell. A few of the plastic ampoules had been broken and were dripping all over the remaining ones. The strong scent was definitely not a good first impression, I'm sad to say.

I first tried one dose in the early morning, and thought that both the taste and smell were incredibly strong. I truly appreciate the inclusion of such a variety of vitamins and nutrients, and love that it's free of so many harmful supplements that we usually see in energy elixirs such as these. I tried it several more times over the next few days and while the taste was extremely hard to swallow, I kept giving it a chance in hopes of increased energy. Still, I did not notice a difference in the level of my energy neither after just taking it, nor later on in the day.

The biggest downfall for me in this product, aside from the lack of efficacy would be the taste. It was suggested in an email that it is vastly improved by taking it with juice, I am not a juice-drinker so would be hard pressed to incorporate it into my daily routine. Perhaps this product would be better received by someone who was a more frequent juice-drinker and perhaps more sensitive to the medicinal ingredients in the product. Lastly, I would have loved to see the actual calorie-content printed on the box, simply out of curiosity.

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club. I was pretty excited to try it out because I always have low energy, even after a full night's sleep. The taste of this product in water was pretty gross, but it was masked if you mixed it with orange juice. But that just increases your sugar intake too then. Overall I didn't feel much difference in my energy levels after a month's use.

I was also a little sketched out by the fact that you can't use this product for an extended period of time. Why is that? I don't know, it doesn't say. That makes me a little worried about what's in it. It also recommends you don't take if you have an infection, but is vague on what that means.

Overall, it was a convenient product to take in the morning, but it didn't give me the results I would hope for.

I must admit that I was weirded out just by the looks of this product but I wanted to try it for the full time so that I could give an honest review. The taste of the Energex was not great, but masked fairly well by orange juice. I tried it with water and that was not good! I did not notice a difference in my energy level the entire time I took this product. I didn't think it was super effective and therefore will not be purchasing it in the future. Thanks for the opportunity to try something different!

I tried using the Adrien Gagnon Super Energex in my morning juice and din't notice much of a difference. The taste was awful and would rather take a multivitamin tablet. Didn't find that it gave me more energy or really any difference at all to my day.

Sorry for the late review, it's hard to give this a fair rating without at least trying it for a couple of weeks.

I really only used this product on days where I felt like I needed a boost, so I didn't use this every day. I think it helped for at least a little while when I first took it. I don't drink orange juice because of the sugar content ....I usually want to watch my sugar intake so I'll eat sweets but generally try not to drink it. So I took this with water.... it's not great tasting. It doesn't taste like orange at all...I don't know where they could get away with thinking it is orange flavoured. But with all tonics...they generally are not great tasting, it's just a bunch of B vitamins with some natural form of caffeine and ginseng.....there could be no possible combination of that actually tasting good. I would've preferred this in gel cap form. :-P

What I did do....was just squirt the tonic right into the back of my throat and quickly chug half a glass of water. Then I couldn't taste it much at all and I felt much better not having an odd aftertaste in my mouth that lingers.

Would I purchase this ? I might, but at the same time, if they had the same thing in a gel caplet I'd probably buy it over something I have to pour into a glass and drink. Not a bad product though...having the little extra boost when you feel like you started the day dragging on the floor is a good thing.

Got to try this product for free from Chickadvisor. I find the product to be so-so. it did give me a bit more energy in the morning I was not so tired and found I could do more than normal. I used this in orange juice for a week, the taste was not too bad but could have been better. On the last day I tried with water and OMG gross, do not drink it this way haha. I did not feel it helped with my stess though so it's a win-loss for me. Anyone having low low energy should try this to see if it helps.

I used this every day for 8 days, drinking one a day in the morning with orange juice. I also made one for my boyfriend every time I drank one, so he used it for 8 days also (we have 2 days left).

I'll start with taste - I have only used it with orange juice, so I can't comment on the actual taste of the product, just of the mixture between the two. Mixing it with orange juice tasted more vanilla/medicine ish to me, rather than an orange taste that is advertised. The mixture was ok, not the best I have had, but it wasn't too hard to drink.

The ampules are convenient for daily use, but I do agree with other posters, a little hard to open. I did end up cutting them with scissors, so separate them, but opening them wasn't too hard. For someone with arthritis or any joint issues, this would hard.

In terms of energy and memory, I did not notice a difference. There was one day when I thought I felt more energetic, but the next day I felt normal. So if it was working, I'd assume, I would feel more energetic the next day and the next day and so on, but I did not experience this. My boyfriend did not notice a difference either.

Would I recommend this - I guess, maybe, hesitantly. I would tell people about the product for sure, but I would also tell them it did not work for me, but to try it should they be inclined. It doesn't hurt to mention it, if someone is looking for something like this from experiencing fatigue.

I think i was expecting way to much with this product.
Although I followed the directions, I really did not see much of a difference in my Energy levels. Was that the product? or the extrememly busy week i had? who knows.
I am sure I give SuperEnergex another try.

I found no difference in my body when I tried these and I did not like the taste it left in my mouth after and I tried it several times and even ask one of my co-worker to try it and he said it did not do anything to him either so I am not sure if I would purchase them
