I received the Super Energex as a sample to try and review. My first thoughts when I mixed it up were "I have to drink this?" Although it looks like cola when you add it to water, it has a strange flavour that you can't quite put your finger on. Maybe if it had an actual flavour that you are expecting with the colour to match I would have enjoyed using the product. As far as performance I didn't find any change or burst of energy. I won't purchase or reccommend this product.
I really do appreciate the free samples I get to try but this one I did not like so much. The containers the Energex come in really are not that pleasing they reminded me of syringes, the smell reminded me of BOOST, and the taste was more like fresh cut grass than orange, as a matter of fact there was no orange taste at all. I really did not notice any change in my energy either.
Again I do appreciate the opportunity to try Super Energex, it's just not something I would personally purchase.
Thank You
Shelly
Adrien Gagnon Super Energex comes in a box of 20 ampoules, each measured out to exactly 10 ml each.
So I like that it's pre-measured for you -- as other liquid supplements I've taken in the past were in bottles and it was a bit messy trying to measure it with a spoon and what not. I was able to open the ampoule easily without spilling it everywhere.
Also, I guess the ampoules provide convenience as you can probably take one with you on-the-go each day -- but then the packaging did seem a bit wasteful.
I tried this formula with cranberry juice and found the taste was fine. I normally take a liquid iron supplement and liquid iron supplement -- and this tasted very similar to them...so I found it was normal to me. But I've never tried taking any with just water alone. I would assume that would not taste the greatest.
I was a bit under the weather, so taking this did help slightly with the boost of energy to get through the day.
I like that it's :
low in calories, taurine free, guarana free and gluten free.
But on the side of the ingredients list, there were a couple of parabens. Now I'm sure there are parabens in tons of foods, cosmetics, etc out there, but I think they should've tried to make this more natural and without parabens.
Because of this, I probably would not purchase this again.

I was one of the lucky people to get to try this for free. There was a generous amount of full size samples and i was very excited to try it. i work in an office 9-5 monday to friday and have no windows so everyday is a gloomy day so my energy is pretty low. when i cracked the first one i splattered it all over my face. i mixed it in water and as it mixed i kind of started to gag a bit. the smell reminded me of rotting oranges. i still sucked it up and tired it. to kill the flavor a bit i added ice cubes and waited until it was super cold then i chugged it. while drinking it is tasted as it smelled. *bleh* the after taste was the worst it was as if i was sucking on a vitamin pill. aside from the taste it did what it said it would do and gave me a bit of a boost of energy, but not to the point of jitteryness or jumpy.
side note.. TMI BUT... when i peed it looked like i peed a glowstick... WEIIIRDD!!
I received this product in the mail after applying for it through Chick Advisor Product review club. I was very excited to see that it was full sized samples and a lot of them (20 doses) I read on previous posts that someone found the plastic hard to break off to open - I had no issues, I found it worked well and I did not spill. I didn't have juice to mix it with so I mixed it with water. The taste was okay, but the after taste reminded me a bit of medicine. I was able to drink it. Mixed with water is a light green/brown colour and it smells very vitaminy. I am excited to use it more this week and see if I have more of a boost of energy throughout the day after my morning drink!

I didnt think too much about it really when I just got it, I seen it was orange flavour and that it come in a pack of 20. The instructions said to mix with half a glass of water or juice. I decided to do water at first, and as soon as I poured it, the smell was just so gross . It was not pleasant at all. So I figured it cant taste that bad. Oh boy, the taste of this is hhard to swallow, its almost like a mad medicine but worse. It felt like oil drinking and the flavour was so strong that it just stuck with me. I had a hard time just taking a sip, so I decided to try it with juice instead. Though the juice helped a little it doesn't mask the taste completely. But I tried it anyway, had a glass in the morning, and waited till mid afternoon because thats when I usually burn out. I must say that I had quite a bit of energy, and was able to keep up all the night until bedtime. I didnt feel drowsy, jittery or lightheaded at all which is a plus.
I think if you can stomach the taste of this, it will be awesome for the extra boost of energy. I like the concept of this and how it works, but the taste is just awful

I did not have an opportunity to use it immediately, waiting for the right moment. As a community healthcare worker, I work strange hours, and every once in a while get hit over the head with a bout of fatigue...the kind that makes you want to take a nap at a red light. It happened yesterday and I was ready. Like some other chicks I found the ampoules a little difficult to open...I would suggest a tissue to cover bottle in case there is leakage. I did not mind the taste, I used to take pure ginseng and definitely detected it in an orange juleps kind of base. Within about 20 minutes the extreme fatigue subsided. Kind of like a cup of coffee (my normal go to), but I loved that the caffeine would not be messing with my sleep cycle later on the night. This is not a product I would use regularly, but rather something I will keep in my bag, and use for those moments I need it.
All in all, I like the product, and would buy it again. Still cheaper than a cup of coffee on the road, and no caffeine regret at midnight.
I hate to write negative reviews, but this was a product that I felt didn't do ANYTHING for me! I had high hopes for it, a more natural approach of being energized throughout the day. I am a mom with kids who just don't sleep and work full time so I was super excited to try this out. Used it for a week and a half and I am still as tired as before! It doesn't stand up to some of the other energizer products on the market unfortunately!

My experience with this healthy energy boosting drink was positive. At first I was taken back by the color, but the taste did not bother me at all, although it tastes like vanilla and not orange as the box claims. It does what it says on the box, and does not make me crash, it feels like its a good prolonged energy. Compared to other drinks I have tried which were powders but they did a similar thing, I liked these more because they were in liquid form so less has to be taken out of it to make it powder (my theory anyways!, and i think it is valid!) plus they mixed better than powder which would sometimes clump up in your drink. I might purchase this product again as a good alternative to coffee in the morning, it is a much cleaner energized feeling
I received this from ChickAdvisor to do a product test.
This was absolutely a fail. The taste was something to be desired, I can't even tell you what the actual flavour is! It is supposed to taste like orange but it is a sweet mess of a mystery ingredient. I also didn't notice any boost in mood/energy with the ginseng at all.
*Also, for being a 'health product' it's got parabens...are you kidding me??!! Absolutely disgusting ingredient! Will never use or buy this product!*
