I have found that the Advil extra strength liquid-gels have been the most effective over the counter pain killer for my headaches. They are strong enough to hold one of my migraines off enough that I can function through out my day. While not making it possible to preform to my best, I am at least able to go to work and concentrate on the task ahead of me.

The entire family agrees that this is the best OTC pain reliever. My only issue with it is that, having been diagnosed with an ulcer, it is not recommended as it is tougher on the stomach lining. I do use it sparingly, if I get a headache, and have not had any problems, but this is against doctor's recommendations.

I love Advil. It helps with mouth pain, menstrual cramps, migraines, and little headaches. I use this over any pain reliever.

Advil liquid gels take away my headaches like no other over the counter medicine out there. as soon as I feel a headache I take one advil and in no time I feel better. I really like the gel pills as they dissolve a lot quicker than the regular pills and I find them more effective.

I get really bad menstrual cramps to the point where I can't do anything and this medication eliminates the pain completely and I can go on with my daily activities. I remain painless for nearly half the day before needing another capsule. In addition, I don't get any negative side effects that I sometimes get with other pain medications such as nausea and indigestion.
