Mixed Feelings On This One
I both really love and really dislike this product for the following reasons.
Pros: This product actually works, leaving hands incredibly soft and moisturized. It absorbs quickly and leaves no greasiness behind. It's Paraben free and non-irritating, a genuine lifesaver for dry, chapped hands.
Cons: The fragrance is overwhelming. It's strong, heavy and old-fashioned, like what I'd imagine an elderly woman's perfume in the 50's would smell like. I can only describe it as a ton of powder full of strong flowers. It's so strong it WILL compete with any fragrance you are wearing. And it stays very noticeable for quite some time. I dislike it so much it almost outweighs the amazing benefits of the product. If you have trouble with fragrance (headaches, allergies etc.) this will not be a good choice for you.
If they could reformulate this to have a light, gentle, fresh and more natural fragrance it would be practically the perfect hand cream.
Great for most people
Love that it is "Dead Sea water" Mineral Hand cream. This grabbed my attention. My hands are very dry as I work in healthcare and use hand sanitize uncountable times a day. This lotion absorbs quickly and leaves my hands feeling soft. However, it is not rich enough for my needs. However, I think it would work for most other people.
My favourite hand cream
I received the Ahava mineral hand cream as part of my FabFitFun box. It is seriously the best hand cream I have ever used. I use it on my plaque psoriasis on my hands and it has done wonders. The first cream I’ve used that actually makes my psoriasis feel smooth and moisturized, the texture is amazing. Plus, I love the scent!
Just got it
I just received this in a fab fit fun box ! Smells great. I’m going to have to check back in (if that’s possible) and see if it actually helps me. I have unbelievablely dry hands this winter so I am going to do a nice scrub and put some gloves on and mask them in it before bed!
This is a bit of a different hand cream, it is luxurious as it says. It's starts off nice and thick and then it changes, I don't know it that's to do with the heat of my hands or the “water” part of the cream but it does become watery and a bit slippery for a few seconds. Then again it absorbs nice and leaves almost a powdery finish. Again it is how they promote it, and they are right. It's different has a very light, fresh scent, many a little baby powderish. I personally am not a big fan about the watery/slip part and find that my hands will want more once it's all absorbed. But I'm super picky about my creams and it was interesting to use.
