Glad to see a big brand carrying this type of product.
These were released just after I bought the "Just a Drop" toilet products. I'm pretty happy about it because there are good coupons for VI.POO and its cheaper than the common brands of this kind of product that were out before. The point of this product is to spray it in the toilet before you use the washroom so that the smell of the waste is trapped instead of released into the air, stinking up your bathroom. It succeeds in this. Good amount of product in the bottle compared to competitors. The scents aren't as good as some of the competitors who offer yummy fruity ones. VI.POO smells kind of fake floraly, which some people hate. I don't mind it though. It's much better than the smell of human waste. The only real problem with it is more to do with my water at home, I think. If you spray it in before you go and some of the waste of higher than the water level of your toilet, the smell will still escape and I'm not sure entirely what you're supposed to do when that happens. Just a Drop said just spray some of it on the waste itself, even if you already put some in the toilet beforehand. The instructions give no advice on what to do in this situation though, for both VI.POO and competitor Just a Drop.
Effective of masking odor
Got the Rosy scent V.I.Poo. It does not necessarily smell like rose it's more like a musk, powdery smell.
You spray it into the toilet bowl before doing your business. It really does it job of masking the odor. It doesn't smell like it's mixing the odor and the pleasant smell. It's a small bottle so it's handy to put into your bag if you need to go to the washroom somewhere other than your home. It's not necessarily cheap for this size of a bottle so I would not use it at home.
Added to our cleaning products
I got this product for free through the mail and rebate program they offered, and it was around $8.00 I was surprised on how small the spray was but you do not need to use a lot - therefore it should last a long time.
Mixed feeelings
Got the Air Wick® V.I.Poo Rosy Starlet Scent for free from websaver as a mail-in rebate last April. It's a pre-poo toilet spray. You just spray 2-3 times into the toilet bowl before you go and it should minimize the poo smell. Currently I use incense or candles and I personally prefer the smoky after-scent when you blow it out. This V.I.Poo one had a nice flowery smell but it's a little weird mixing it with the poo smell. What do you think? Did anyone else get a chance to try this?
