Perfect Alternative to Ibuprofen

I tend to reach for ibuprofen but my boyfriend is allergic to it so we don't often have it around the house. I am never disappointed when I take an Aleve though, it seems to work just as well and it has always worked well for his chronic pain.

Works fast but not as long as promised

Not a huge fan, I find aleve kicks in pretty fast but doesn’t offer the same level of relief as ibuprofen. Even regular strength ibuprofen i have found to be more effective. You cannot mix this medicine with other anti inflammatory medicine (ie Advil) as you risk perforation of the stomach, and it’s about 8-12 hours between doses of aleve so if (when) it doesn’t work it’s a long wait with pain until you can take an alternative medicine.

It’s hard on the stomach as well. Might work okay for some but not for me.

Relief

This is a product I will buy when I see it on sale. I take a fair bit of ibuprofen for my migraines and other aches and pains, so the cheaper the better. This helps take the edge off and the liquid gels are easier on my stomach

Aleve is a good pain relieve

I love Aleve because it is very effective and the Aleve night is also just as effective. It helped to sooth my back pain which helps me fall asleep. It is also quick relief.

My go to pain killer

Out of all the over the counter pain medications there are. The Aleve liquid Gels are the best for helping me with my frequent headaches. Also great on muscle aches and pains. It can be quite hard on the stomach so I wouldn't recommend taking this product all the time though.

I recently injured my back and my husband picked up Aleve to help me with the pain. It's definitely kept it from being at its worst, and has enabled me to get some rest.
